Success? (Zell)

[Takeshi]

"I"m fine.." Takeshi said as he stormed upstairs. Kisa was left alone, with a half-demon, whom she was half afraid of. She just looked at Zell as she looked back at her. She watched silently as the white-haired demon say by her. She cringed back a little. When she began to speak about Takeshi,she just listened, agreeing with everything silently. "Y-yes.. Taki is a good Nii-chan.. For as long as I can remember, Taki as always there and taking care of me, even when we were really small.." She said as she looked down. I truly am lucky.. I am glad this girl sees that.. Perhaps she is not like the other demons.. Maybe this is why Nii-chan brought her home, for I know he hates demons as much as I do.. If not more. She looked up as Zell began speaking again, turning red. "I-I'm glad.. I would be really upset if Nii-chan ddin't care for me, but yet I'd still be here if he didn't no matter what." Said Kisa quietly ass she looked at Zell and gave her a smile, her face still red. Takeshi was hiding on t5he wall of the staircase and was listening to their conversation, looking down. "Y-yes, Taki can be very cold at ti mes, but he is never like that with me, only to others.. I don't exactly know why though, it is like you said, he does have a very good heart, unless he is just pulling an act and fooling me..." Takeshi's eyes widened at this. She.. thinks I'm faking it..? Did I do something to make her think this way?! I would never! He sighed silently and made loud foot-stomps, as if he was just coming down and walked inside, throwing the clothes at Zell, getting her right in the face. His face turned red again as she said her towel could've fell off. "Just go change!" He ordered as she went up the stairs. He and Kisa looked at each other for a minute, he then walked over, bent down and hugged her. "Nii-chan..?" "I don't want you to think that ever again!" He told her as he clutched her tighter. "Hu-" "I heard you talking to Zell.. The affection I show you is not fake! Dammit Kisa, I love you to death!" Kisa just looked at him with wide eyes, then hugged back.

When Zell came back down, they were already separated and were half-way done eating. "'bout time. You're awful slow." He said as he at the last bit of his fish and finished the soup as Kisa did the same. He got up and picked up the finished dishes and began washing them. He listened as Zell asked what something was, then hurt herself. "Smart move. The silverware you probably just cut yourself on was a knife, probably." He told her as he dried a dish. When he heard Zell say that was some good soup, he ended up laughing slightly. "It's okay to admit you don't like it. Kisa knows full and well not a lot of people like leeks, so she's grown used to it, haven't you Kisa?" She nodded and smiled at Zell, reassuring her it was okay. When Zell thanked Kisa for the meal, she shook her head and pointed at Takeshi. "Nii-chan made it.." "What? No I didn't. I just finished.." "But Nii-chan, it wasn't even hardly started.." "But you still seasoned it and everything, so you made it." She thought for a second. "How about we both made it?" She asked happily. He just smiled. "Alright, works for me." He said as he took Zell's plates.

Takeshi, when he was finished, went and sent Kisa off to bed, grabbing a blanket and pillow for himself. He made abed on the couch and flopped down on it, tired and ready for sleep. He closed his eyes, but they opened when he heard footsteps on the roof. He moaned angrily. Sighing, he sat up and went to the roof, seeing Zell sitting there. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" He asked at her, pissed. "Shouldn't you be resting?!" He crawled over and sat next to Zell, looking out towards the sky sleepily. "About earlier.. When you were talking with Kisa.. You didn't mean that stuff, did you? I know it's wrong to eavesdrop, but hey, nothing wrong with being bad once in awhile. "He said with a small chuckle and looked at her, smiling. "Really though, despite that you're a demon, I'm sorry, for attacking and shooting at you. I, never meant.." Takeshi's eyes were drooping and he leaned against Zell, laying his head on her shoulder, falling asleep.

She turned and saw that Takeshi had come on the roof. Well it looks like I did wake him up, whoops. He yelled at her asking why she was on the roof. "Relax, I just wanted to get some fresh air. I didn't want to die from heat stroke." He finally came over to her and sat down. "The sky is pretty tonight isn't it Takeshi?"
"Really though, despite that you're a demon, I'm sorry, for attacking and shooting at you. I, never meant.."
She smiled as he said that. "It's alright just calm down about it. I heal pretty fast so that's something you shouldn't worry about. I don't want you beating yourself up for something that's my fault. I shouldn't have provoked you anyways. Besides all I did was just bring you demon out..." She looked down and realized that Takeshi had fallen asleep on her shoulder. Well that's something that doesn't happen everyday.

She looked forward and smiled. "Hmpf. You're telling me I should be inside resting when you should be worrying about yourself instead of me. I cut you up to, not as bad as you did to me but still pretty bad. You're probably not used to being out in the cold all the time. You're gonna get your own self sick, and what if you do? You'll just pass it on to Kisa." She looked down at him again. He seemed to have a peaceful face. His gentle breathing was soothing to Zell as she listened to the sounds of the crickets and the wind. Strange it almost feels like, he trusts me. It feels like he's hugging me. He seemed to shake a little when the wind blew toward them. Cold isn't it. Hehe, that's what you get for falling asleep outside. She put her arms around him to act as a blanket. He feels cold. I knew I should have brought a blanket out here with me. Well maybe I can get one but... ... I don't want to wake him up. She started to move herself slowly and gently moved his head. She layed him down carefully making sure he was secure and wouldn't fall off the roof when she left. She made her way to the window to Takeshi's room and slid in.

"Lets see, blanket, blanket. Ah, here it is." She grabbed the blanket and made her way back up to the roof. Good at least he didn't roll of. Then again if he did it would be kinda funny. She crawled back over to where she had left Takeshi. She sat down and lifted his head up and placed it in her lap. She took the blanket and put it over herself and Takeshi. This blanket is huge. It works perfectly though. She sat there for a bit looking up at and then looked down at Takeshi. He seemed to be dreaming and he seemed to twitch a few times. Zell had to keep herself from laughing when he did. I wonder what he's dreaming about? Maybe I'll ask him later. Zell went off into a daze herself. She began to wonder what it would be like to have a family like Kisa and Takeshi. She soon began to doze off and fell asleep herself. She started to dream a nightmare she wished she never had.

Zell was in a house she had never seen before and a woman was standing above her. She turned around and the woman pushed her down and Zell hit her head. She twitched a little when that happened. It's starting to get warm but why. Zell opened her eyes and saw red ambers and fire around her. "What where am I and why am I in the middle of a fire?" She was sitting up and looking around. All of a sudden she felt a hand on her shoulder and looked behind her real fast. It was a guy standing above her that looked very similar to Takeshi. The guy was telling her that they needed to get out of there and quick. Zell jumped up and started following the guy. He was running ahead of her and she was trying to follow but he was running too fast. "Hey! Hey boy please slow down I can't keep up with you. Wait!" He disappeared in the smoke ahead. She started walking in that way but began coughing hard. "I must have breathed in too much smoke." She began walking slower in the direction the guy had gone. Suddenly a figure showed up in front of her and was just standing there. "Hey are you that boy from earlier? Please answer me, I'm kinda scared." The guy turned around and his eyes were glowing red. Zell gasped and almost fell but the guy had disappeared from her sight. Where did he... Gah! She felt a sudden pain against her back and turned a bit to see her blood on the guys fingers. He seemed to be smiling. He looked like he was about to strike again but suddenly dissolved into the air. What the? Zell turned around and began to run but was blocked by fire in the doorway. She turned around trying to find another exit. She walked a little forward and then heard a crack and looked up. She saw a burning ceiling beam start to fall on her. She had no time to react and then...

Zell's eyes popped open when she woke from her nightmare. She was glad she didn't scream by accident. She finally calmed and began to take in her surroundings. She finally noticed that she had fallen asleep on Takeshi's back. She sat up and looked at the sky. Why is the moon not in the sky? It took her a minute to finally realize it was dawn. Zell gasped. "Crap. We slept all night out here on the roof, it's morning!"

[Takeshi]

Takeshi could vaguely hear Zell talk, but it was only a buzz sound that grew softer as he drifted off more into sleep. Taki!! Let's play!! Huh? Oh.. Okay Kisa. What do you wanna play? Not yet! Let's go ask mommy if she wants to play too! Little eight year old Takeshi smiled at little four year old Kisa. He grabbed her little hand and began walking. Alright, let's go! Little Kisa smiled and laugh, and he couldn't help but do the same, but the closer they got, the louder yelling went on. Their smiles faded and Takeshi let go of her hand. Stay here for a minute, Kisa.. He stopped wqhne he felt a tug on his shirt though. She looked up at him with pleading, scared, and sad eyes. Taki.. Taki please don't go.. Daddy's mad.. Daddy scares me when he's mad.. I don't want Taki to go near Daddy when he's mad.. I'll be okay, I promise. I'd rather you stay away from him.. He reassured her as he went on.

I can't take it anymore Kanima! Our children are scared of you and probably don't like you! You don't support them or try to interact with them and you certainly don't support me! How can you expect me to support you with a demon hunter gun, Siriza?! I didn't always own it! Even when I didn't have you never tried! So, since you do dangerous shit all the time and won't protect us, how do you expect me to fight off the demons that try to kill you?! I don't expect you to! Too bad! I- Takeshi's mother cut herself off as she saw him enter the room. T..Taki dear.. Mommy and daddy are talking right now.. We need you to go, alright dear? Mom.. Don't lie to me. I'm eight now. You two are fighting.. Stop it, come and cool off, Kisa and I wanna play with you.. Kanima smiled softly at her young son. Alright, let's go. Kanima! She turned and glared at Siriza. We'll continue later. She turned back around and walked off with him, meeting with Kisa. They played a game until nightfall, and that's when things went bad. They were about to leave for their rooms when a crash echoed in their ears. The window had broken down and the sense of malicious demons went through their bodies.

Takeshi's little eyes widened as he tackled Kisa to protect her as their mother jumped out of the way, pulling out what is today DDS, but it was knocked out of her hands. Getting up, he ran for his mother. Mom!! Taki no!! He ignored her though and tried to attack a demon, but was shoved and slammed against a wall. Taki!! Kanima ran for her son and bent down, her eyes tearing up until she heard a loud scream. Jerking her head up, she ran towards Kisa, who was about to be attacked, but paralyzed with fear. Takeshi was getting up, and looked right when his mother jumped in front of Kisa. Mom!!!!!

"Mom!!!" The real Takeshi said as he jerked up and awake. He panted somewhat and wiped the cold sweat off his head. I fell asleep, outside? Looking to the side, he saw Zell also asleep. Can't be comfortable.. He sat on the edge of the roof, but dragged Zell up to balance on his back. May not be the best, but may be better.. He sighed as his hair blew in the morning wind, watching as the sun rose. What if I had listened to mom then? Would she still be here? Would things be different at all? Tears appeared to his eyes, and he was glad Zell was asleep. He looked up as the tears streaked from his eyes. Well, that was until he heard her gasp. Jerking his head down, he plac3d it in his hands and listened when she spoke. "Good job smart one, I never figured.."

She turned her head to look at him. "Oh so I see you're awake too, well good morning." She smiled but then narrow she her eyes. "Well I'm sorry I was caught off guard by it! Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the roof. Hmpf! You didn't have to be so rude about it geesh. You know you're always so rude to me and I.." She looked at Takeshi when she caught herself. "Hey, are you alright. Are you crying!? What's wrong did I say something!? I'm so sorry!" She looked at him pleadingly waiting for answer. Well then again knowing him he probably won't even respond to me. She turned her head the other way. He's so self centered! Why can't he open up for once and just be.. just be.. She looked at her feet. She was trying to figure out why that upsetted her so much. He can't be open with me. Why do I let myself get angered and hurt by that. She hid her eyes with her bangs. "I'm sorry I think I'm just a little upset at the moment. I had a bad night and a bad dream. I couldn't sleep well." She began to daze and remembered the face that looked like Takeshi's. It looked like him, but his eyes were glowing red. He looked as though he wanted to kill me with his own fangs. She shivered at that thought. Is that how Takeshi's demon really is. Is his inner demon's wish to kill me that much?

She looked up at the sky watching the clouds. She sun strike her eyes a few times and she tightened her eyes so it wouldn't hurt her. Her stomach growled a bit and she looked over at Takeshi. "You know if you don't mind Takeshi I think I'm going to find something to eat. I'll wait for you to join me!" She smiled and jumped off the roof landing gracefully. Wow that fun! It's been a while since I've jumped like that. She chuckled to herself a bit when she stood up. She ran into the house not even waiting for Takeshi to respond or follow. She looked around for Kisa wondering if she was awake yet. She began to look around the fridge for something to eat. "Man, I feel like a robber or something." She kept looking and finally settled for some bacon she found. She sat down and began nibbling on it only to be startled by a voice. "KEE KEE KEE!" (sounds weird but if you think about it that's what she would sound like.) She sighed out and turned her head around looking for who it was who had spoken.

She got up and looked around for something to do. "Man you guys are boring. There's nothing to do. Oh I know! Do you have any Shonen Jump magazines!" She smiled waiting for an answer. She began looking around some more and finally gave up. "Well maybe I could read something but these books look boring." She looked down at her feet. She began to daze off ignoring anything that could have been said. She began to think about her dream and the day before. Images began to came back and she began to feel afraid and sad. She looked down at her feet once more. Why do those things make me feel this way they weren't real but they feel real. Why? Her eyes began to blur as she felt her eyes swelling up with hot tears. No! Why am I crying!? Don't cry!"

[Takeshi]

"Oh so I see you're awake too, well good morning."[/u]

Takeshi just grunted at her. She then began to say how he woke up on the wrong side of the roof and so on and so forth. Until she cut herself off. He just moved his eyes to the side.

"Hey, are you alright. Are you crying!? What's wrong did I say something!? I'm so sorry!"[/u]

Takeshi just wiped his eyes and shook his head. "Fine, and no I'm not crying." He told her as he looked back up. "No, it has nothing to do with you." He told her bitterly. The whole not crying thing was an obvious lie, but couldn't say he didn't try. He turned fully to her and just groaned, leaning to the side as she was giving him a pleading look. Get your act together Takeshi. You don't cry. He looked at her when she looked at her feet. Ah geez..! "C..Come on now.. Now need to look-" He cut himself off as he said she was sorry, that she had a bad night and nightmare. Crossing his legs, he placed one elbow on his knee and out his hand in his palm, looking at her. "Makes two of us, then. But, I swear if you apologize to me again I'm knocking your teeth out." He told her with a serious look, but a very small smirk on his face.

Takeshi looked to the side as she looked up, but immediately looked back as he heard her stomach growl. "I take it your hungry?" He asked, even though she just turned to him and said she was going to find something to eat. Told him she would wait for him to join, then made his heart stop as she jumped off the roof. "What the hell do you think you were doing?! You scared the living hell out of me dammit!" He yelled, but it was now use since she had already went inside. Infuriated, he sat back in his original position before Zell woke up and just went off thinking again.


Kisa rubbed her eyes as she walked down the hall, thinking of what to prepare for breakfast. Nii-chan isn't awake yet, he must be tired.. Poor nii-chan, he always works so hard. I really wish he wouldn't, not getting enough sleep could endanger him and I don't want to lose him like I lost mom.. She actually didn't know what happened to her dad, nor did she honestly care. She hardly remembers him. The sound of rummaging and a female voice then rang into her ears. That's not nii-chan.. It must be the girl he brought home last night. She actually didn't remember Zell's name. She stood at the doorway and stood there for a second, watching her nibble on bacon. Looking around, she didn't see Takeshi anywhere. "Onee-chan..? Where is Nii-chan? Is he still sleeping? Did you have a good night's rest..?" Okay, she asked a lot of questions, but still. She jumped almost a good two feet in the air at the sound Zell made. "O-o-o-n-n-ee-ch-chan....?!" She asked as she shook. She jumped slightly again and looked up as she felt a hand on her head. "didn't I tell you not to scare Kisa, Zell?" Asked Takeshi as he walked inside. "You know if you would've waited I could've made something..." He told her as he eyes the bacon. Shaking his head, he walked over to the stove and looked at Kisa. "Want some pancakes or something?" He asked her with a soft smile. "With sausage?" She asked as she tilted her head. He chuckled slightly. "Okay, pancakes and sausage, gotcha'." He told her as he got the material down for it.

Takeshi rolled his eyes. Wasn't rude at all or anything.. Not like I care, but whatever. When she walked out he placed the batter in the pan and the sausage in whatever you cook sausage in. "Hey, Kisa?" He asked as he leaned on the counter. "Yes,nii-chan?" She asked. "Why don't we hang out later?" A smile spread across her face as he eyes sparkled a bit. "Okay!" she told him. "Awesome!" He told her as he patted her when he walked by. Takeshi looked around for Zell, and finally saw her, but could smell the tears almost a mile away. Walking over, he put his foot on her head and shoved her a bit. "Hey! No more of your tears will be shed in my house, got it?!" He told her as he lowered his foot back down and bent to his knees as he looked at her. "Though, if you want to talk about it, I'll listen."

When Zell began walking into the house she heard Takeshi yelling at her. Just as rude and demanding as ever Takeshi. She chuckled to herself and walked into the house. When Takeshi scolded her for scaring Kisa she turned her head the other way and sighed. "Geesh I don't know what your problem is. It's not like I meant to scare her she scared me first. Didn't know my yelp was scary." She swallowed her last piece and walked into the other room listening to Takeshi and Kisa's conversation. Maybe I should've waited. I would have liked to taste his cooking.

She was reading a book as the words put images in her head and the images that she's never known of. Beginning to tear up she heard Takeshi.
"Hey! No more of your tears will be shed in my house, got it?!"
She hid her eyes in her bangs and tried to wipe them away with her hand but was unsuccessful. Damnit! No matter how much I wipe my eyes and try to forget the images they won't go away. She thought over Takeshi's words and then they finally reached her emotions. They made her feel upset and embarrassed, but really they just made her angry. She wanted to yell at Takeshi right there and rose up to do so. She moved her eyes to look at him still hiding her eyes. Looking at him with her eyes narrowed and full of anger and hate she was about to open her mouth and looked over at Kisa. She couldn't yell in front of her. She didn't want to make her anymore afraid than she already was. I can't just yell at Takeshi right here in front of her. If she wasn't here I would tell Takeshi all about him being such a conceited dumbass.
"Though, if you want to talk about it, I'll listen."
She didn't answer and kept hiding her eyes.

She stood up and began walking to the door. "No I don't want to talk to it, at least not to you." She began walking out the door and ignored anything that was said to her. "I don't want to have my organs turned inside out so I think I might as well leave for my own safety. Good bye Kisa and good bye you arrogant emo wolf... thank you for taking care of me and helping me out but I am in no more need of your assistance." She turned her head toward him and glared at him with a glare she had never made before. Her eyes had almost turned yellow instead of golden amber. "I mean who would want to stay here and bother you anymore after they have already done enough. Also if anyone were to stay here they might as well leave because no offense Takeshi.." She turned and smirked to herself while chuckling angrily. "Your face is enough to make anyone cry. I can see why Kisa is afraid of anyone who walks in the house is because she has to see your face." She turned around and walked out the door. She hadn't realized she left her clothes in his house nor did she care. When she had said emo she made sure that her anger and frustration showed. By letting his words reach to me while I was in that state, it angered me. So he can go to hell for all I care. Not like he cares for anyone else other than himself and his sister.

It was becoming night while she was walking. Despite her feet being energized with anger, they were beginning to hurt. I don't want to stop now. I want to get as far away from him as I can. I don't want to ever see his stupid wolfy face again. Her heart skipped a beat when she said that. She didn't completely believe herself. She believed that she was angry at him but she couldn't agree that she never wanted to see him again. Well maybe once I want to see his face, but I never want to speak to him again! She had hoped she was heading in the direction of the lake they had been the day before. At least that would be a place to set up shelter since there is water there and woods so it would be easy to come up with something. She was beginning to become thirsty so she stopped. "Kay, I'll stop for a second to get something to drink but after that I'm taking off." She bended water from the trees around her and into her mouth. "Gross tasting, but at least it is water." She began walking again until she heard a noise from behind her.

She looked around fiercely in every direction and turned around only to see a figure standing in front of her. The figure seemed to be glowing a bit. The figure's face took shape and it scared Zell a bit. She gasped and began to back up only to trip over a root and land on the ground. "Ta...Takeshi?" She waited for an answer from him only to hear a different voice. "Ah I see, that guy's name is Takeshi. Is this really the thing that is on your mind?" She gasped and turned around to see a human looking man standing in front of her. "Wh...who are you?" She turned around only to see that Takeshi had disappeared. "Are you still worried about the wolf faced boy. You do realize that was just your mind playin' tricks on ya!?" Her eyes widened at that. It was only an illusion, but why did it look so real, it even felt like him. Wait a minute if it was my mind playing tricks on me then why could he see him? And what's up with his crooked smile?

She stood up and looked over at him and he was smirking to himself. She examined him over a few times and finally got it. "You're not human are you? What are you? A demon like me and Takeshi?" He chuckled at that. "HEY WHAT'S SO DAMN FUNNY!!! I WAS ASKING YOU A QUESTION SO ANSWER IT!!" He looked up at her and answered. "Yes I am a demon my name is Uotsuki (Liar) by the way." Her body felt cold as he answered her. He seemed to have put her body into shock. "Huh.. that's some name you got there. Does it fit you somehow?" She never gave him time to respond and pulled her sword on him and ran straight at him. He blocked her attack and stabbed his hand into her back. "GAH!!!!!!!!!!" "My, my isn't it impolite to attack without the opponents permission and before they're ready?" She gained a little of her strength back and swung her sword around not making contact with him. "Now was that aimed at me!? My special ability, in case you haven't noticed, is I can create illusions to anyone mortal or demon or any other race! That's how powerful I am!"

She clenched her teeth and stood up and ran at him. "I don't care how powerful you are I'm gonna kill you!" Water began to circle around her blade as though it were a second layer of blade and she began to run at him. He laughed and then suddenly Zell's vision changed and his face changed as well as his body. She thought she heard Kisa's voice and turned in that direction to find nothing and then heard Takeshi's voice and slowly turned her head back around. "Now Zell, think about it for a minute.. could you ever kill me? Besides Zell I think your blood smells good so let me cut you up and let me smell it!" She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw his face and his body. "Ta.................Takeshi...." She didn't know how to respond as he inched toward her. He hugged her and held her close to him. "Take...." She didn't want that moment to end. She loved the feeling of being close to him. "Hehe.. Ya'll are a huge fool ya know that? If I didn't know better I'd say you have fallin' head over heals for this young man." Zell's closed eyes widened as he said this. She tried to get away but she was too late. He had stolen her sword while she was paying no attention and suddenly his eyes turned to the blazing red she saw in her dream. He pushed her back and laughed evilly. He showed the blade far above her head. "This is the end for ya!!! I can't wait to smell you're blood!!!!" He brought the sword down with god-like speed and strike her in her left shoulder. He slashed the sword out of her and while she was falling he stabbed his hand into her stomach. "NNGAH!!!!!!!!!" He held the sword up to his mouth and then licked the blade (EWWW). "If ya'll don't mind I think I'm gonna take this valued junk and keep it for myself. You better die soon or I'll come back and drain the rest of the blood from ya. You taste sweet HmmhmmHAHAHAHA!!!" She tried to move but her body wouldn't budge. Her vision was blurring. Is this it? Is this what death is like? Am I gonna die here like this, in this forest, alone...?

[Takeshi]

"Geesh I don't know what your problem is. It's not like I meant to scare her she scared me first. Didn't know my yelp was scary."[/u]

Takeshi just smiled a bit. "Well now you know. I'm sure it just took her off guard, didn't it Kisa?" He asked as she just nodded her head. "I.. I'm sorry Onee-chan.. I didn't mean to make you angry.." She told her as she looked down with a sad look on her face. "..mh..?" She made that small sound when Zell walked out. "Nii-chan, did I, say something?" He shook his head. "No, you didn't." He said as he entered the room as well.

When he sat next to her, he watched as she stood up and looked as if she was about to yell with her bangs shading out her eyes. Takeshi just sat there and waited for it, but never received it. He sat there and waited and waited, still never got the yelling he was expecting. "You gonna yell or not? I don't have all day. I'd like it if you'd just tell me what is wrong with you, yell form or not, so I can clear it up with you." He told her. It was obvious he upset her. Damn, all I said was no more tears, what's her problem? Not like I said "stop crying or get out". If I had, then she'd have a reason to be upset, but otherwise this is just stupid..

"No I don't want to talk to it, at least not to you."[/u]

"Is that so? Looks like I wasted my breath asking then." Takeshi said as he stood back up properly. He listened to her speak and rolled his eyes. When she said that the reason Kisa was scared of anyone to walk into the house because of him, he glared and Kisa jumped a bit. "Tha- That's not true! I love Nii-chan, he doesn't scare me at all! You migh-" Takeshi waved a hand at her to tell her to stop and smiled slightly, then glared at Zell. "Well, go on, get out if you don't need us anymore. Feel free not to come back either. See ya'. I'll be sure to dance on your corpse when I find your dead body on the side of the road." He told her as he watched her go. He grunted. "Damn, she took my clothes with her. Ah well, I wouldn't want clothes that a demon had worn. Especially her." He sighed and walked upstairs, going into the shower.

Damn, what was with her and calling me that? I don't even know what "emo" is! Damn, she got some issues. Stupid girl. Ugh, I'm sore now because she had to be on the roof and make me see what the hell was going on with her! And I just happened to fall asleep! He remembered sitting on the roof with her and drooping over to fall on her shoulder after almost apologizing. Hmph, what a lie and she was stupid enough to believe it. He stopped thinking for a second, sighed, and punched the side of the bathtub. Dammit! It wasn't a lie, I really did feel bad. She certainly knows how to change that around though.[ This time he slammed his head on the side of it. Another lie!! Ugh!! Fine, I'll go and find her! Turning the shower off, he got dressed,, grabbed DDS and left in the direction that she went, just following his instincts afterward.

When Takeshi heard this, he stopped and his head jumped up. Zell. He then broke into a run. When the demon sense got stronger, he slowed down and became more sneaky and silent. When they came into view, it was Zell laying on the ground and a demon looking like him licking the blood off of Zell's sword. Well that's not gross. Sighing he walked forward, putting his hand in his pocket. "Well well well, look what we have here. A low-life demon and a helpless Zell. Even though I said I'd dance on your corpse when I see you laying on the road, I just can't bring myself to do that." He said as he turned to the demon, glaring. "As for you, I believe that sword belongs to Zell. I recommend you give it back." He said as he pulled DDS out and pulled the trigger. "Whether you would have done it willingly or not, I would've killed you. I just don't have the patience to wait." He said, not even waiting to see if it hit the demon or not as he went and picked Zell up. Here we are again. Dammit..

Zell lay there on the ground cold in her cold blood spilling from her body. She was beginning to go off into a dazed state when she began to hear other voices other than Uotsuki's. Hm.. that voice sounds like Takeshi. Well I guess I'm just imagining things again. He must be good with creating illusions with sound too.
"As for you, I believe that sword belongs to Zell. I recommend you give it back."
Zell's eyes popped open at that. That is Takeshi!! He came!! Wait HE CAME!!!!!! NOT GOOD!!! "Ta....Ta..Take..." She was too weak to get his name out of her mouth let alone make much of a sound. When she heard the sound of a gun going off she knew that Takeshi had fired his DDS.

When he began to pick her up she could breathe better and was able to get her voice to make a sound and form shapes. "Ta..Takeshi." She tried to gather as much strength as she could and began speaking again. "Takeshi.. you can't take him lightly. H..he can make illusions. Be careful." She was on the verge of passing out when she said that. She couldn't sense if Uotsuki was still alive or not. "Hahahahaha!!! You missed me wolf face. Before you came I sensed you and created an illusion to make you think I was farther to the right then what I really was. If you weren't careful you could've hit Zell and killed her. Ya'll flat out missed me ya fool. So now I will show you what ya'll is a thinkin' in your mind and soul, hehe. Exhibit A.." Uotsuki was beginning to form a picture of Takeshi's mother and the demons swarming around them. "Remember this partner? This is one of your deepest thoughts correct?"

"Alrighty hehe.. exhibit B... recognize this girl, well do ya buddy? What an adorable little girl won't ya agree. I reckon if somethin' were to happen to her you wouldn't feel to good would ya mm? Well observe." He disappeared from view and showed Takeshi the little girl being tortured by demons. Even some of them looking like his father. "Last exhibit.... exhibit C..... miss Zell here with the most tasty blood ever is the star of the show today. Miss Zell why don't ya'll come down here and make yourself real pretty?" Zell seemed to have been picked up by something she didn't know and seemed to be walking from puppet strings toward Takeshi. Why am I being controlled like this. It's gotta be another illusion. She stopped right in front of Takeshi and began to speak words she never would have said. "Wow wolf face, you came all this way to get yourself killed. Haven't you learned your lesson. It's like playing with fire, you'll get burned. You should have know that coming out here to save me is just making it worse. Before you know it, I'm gonna turn on you and kill you and Kisa." After she said that she regained control of herself and covered up her mouth with her hands. Maybe if he see's me doing this he'll understand that I didn't say it. She looked up a bit but looked back down quickly. I don't want to see the face he probably has right now.

She stood back up and turned her attention toward Uotsuki and began glaring at him. "Glarin' is rude ya know, and you'll be gettin' no where by doin' that." He stood up and chuckled to himself. "I don't know what you find so damn funny but I'll take it away from you!" She took a fighting stance and waited for him to attack, trying to read his attack movements. "Ya'll are goin' to have to be faster and smarter than that if ya'll are gonna fight me partner." He was right behind her. Damnit an illusion! She began to turn but he beat her to it. He slammed his hands onto her neck sending her falling. "Oh I'm not finished yet!" He took her sword once more and stabbed her in the back on her left side, hitting the edge of heart.

"Ta....Ta..Take..."[/u]

"Ah, good, so you're not gonna try and yell at me. I'm glad, you might ruin your health even more if you did." (sounds like kenshin now..) Takeshi said as he looked at her. He listened as she warned him. "Relax, I took care o-" He was cut off when he heard a voice. Turning around, he saw that the demon was still there. Damn, I missed. Apparently he can make illusions. Walking over, he put Zell against a tree and walked back over, but had listened to every word the demon said. He stood there with a blank face as he took shape, when he saw his mother, his eyes widened. "M..Mom.." He clenched his teeth and his hands tightly as he began to speak again. He then transformed into Kisa, showing her being tortured. "Kisa!!" He yelled. This time he ran towards the demon, punching him right in the face.

"Last exhibit.... exhibit C..... miss Zell here with the most tasty blood ever is the star of the show today. Miss Zell why don't ya'll come down here and make yourself real pretty?"[/u]

"Leave her alone!!" Takeshi yelled at him, ready to hit him again, until he saw Zell coming towards him. "Zell.. Stay away." Wait.. This is either an illusion of his, or he's moving her himself! When Zell spoke and told him that him being here only made things worse, he was taken back. Don't believe it, it's not her actual words! Don't believe it, don't believe it.. He continued to tell himself that as she continued, but couldn't help but have his anger flare when she said she'd kill him and Kisa. He clenched his teeth and glared, but the glare was shot at the real demon, not at Zell. He didn't pay much attention when she covered her mouth, but placed his hand on her head when she looked down. He couldn't bring himself to smile, no, he was to mad to, but lightened his glare when he looked at Zell. "Relax. I'm mad.. Okay, mad is an understatement, I'm furious, but not at you." He told her. "Go sit back down. I'll handle-" He was once again cut off when she stood up. "Zell.."

"Zell!" Takeshi yelled as he tried to grab her before she began, but it was a little late, and he missed. He watched as Zell fell to the ground and then was stabbed again. "Nhhhh..." ((supposed to sound like a growl..)) The noise came through Takeshi's tightly clenched teeth as his bangs shadowed out his eyes. About time..

"Y'all are goin' to have to be faster and smarter than that if y'all are gonna fight me partner."[/u]

"That so..?" Said Takeshi as he looked up with red crimson eyes. Yes, his demon side had once again taken over. One moment he was standing there, the next he was gone and he was next to the demon and Zell. Moving his hand swiftly, he sent it through the demon's stomach and sent him flying. He began to flick the blood off of his hand. "Then how about fighting me, partner?" He said, somewhat making fun of him.

Zell's vision was so blurred she could barley tell the shapes of the two forms standing. She turned to look at Takeshi but couldn't move an inch. She finally managed to prop up her head enough to see them a bit more clearly. Damnit! My blood keeps spilling out. I can't stop it! She saw Uotsuki standing there seeming to be smirking. She moved her head over a bit more to see Takeshi. She gasped when she saw his face. Those eyes! They're red, like they were in the fire in my dream. I don't like them I don't like his eyes when they are that color. It makes me feel uneasy. He is a full demon when he is like that. Takeshi please! Please transform back! Before you lose control over your mortal self!
She tried to move and was almost successful, but began to feel severe pain and couldn't move anymore than she already was positioned.

"Hehe, so you wanna make fun of me partner? Huh huh HAHAHAHA!!" He looked down at the wound he received. He put his hand over his cuts and lifted it up and smelt the blood on his hand. "Well it doesn't smell as good as Miss Zell's blood over there, but I sure am surprised that you could inflict this on me." He laughed and looked up at Takeshi. "Alrighty let's play "tag" with the demon. Let's make this place a little more entertainin'! Instead of this borin' ol' forest lets go to a forsaken cowboy town. We'll play with guns n' horses, sound fun to ya partner?" The scene began to change from a forest to a town out in the desert. Zell, being on the edge of death could see right through the illusion though. I get it. Since I'm almost dead and I can't move, he lowered his guard on me. He's completely focused on Takeshi. But Takeshi isn't himself right now. He is a demon, not Takeshi, so he won't pay any attention and he'll let the blood rush to his head. If I try hard enough I can get to Uotsuki and some how attack him or at least get his attention. She tried to get up but collapsed knocking the breath out of her. "Ga...." She put her hand over her mouth to keep herself from making it any louder. She couldn't risk the chance of letting him notice her. Besides she didn't want to see Takeshi's face the way it was at that moment. She began to make her way by crawling toward Takeshi, but very slowly.

"So what ya think? Pretty sad ain't it? Hehehe... now you need a prize to work for so you get a fightin' real good. Look over there." He pointed at a stand and a horse tied to a rope. The rope was attached to a board and above that board Zell stood there with a rope around her neck. "Ya see now!? If you lose to me or make the wrong move, her pretty white face will get purple and then even whiter. Watch what ya do, or else it's the old fashion execution." Zell watched as Takeshi's expressions would change and then she turned to look at Uotsuki. He was pulling off branches from the trees and leaves from bushes. I wonder what illusions he's making? She looked up at Takeshi trying to get a glimpse of Takeshi's face but was distracted by Uotsuki. He threw one of the leaves at Takeshi and it went no where but right in front of him. Is this what his illusions are? Suddenly she saw blood strike from Takeshi's arm and she almost screamed out his name. Her pain stopped her from doing it, but it was probably for the best. I think I have it, if we see it happen, even if it isn't real if we think it happened to us it will happen, but if I could just see him throw the leaf instead of what Takeshi saw, I don't think it would harm me, but Takeshi doesn't know that. Especially when he's in the form he's in right now.

Uotsuki continued to throw daggers at Takeshi. "Each time you dodge them ya'll just get hit by another one!" He smirked and looked at Takeshi's eyes. "Ya know wolf face, you lookin' pretty scary with those red eyes, scary ugly that is." He turned to look at Zell who was struggling to get out of the rope. "Hehe...NO SQUABBLING!!! STAY PUT!!!" He threw a dagger at the lock the horse was stalled up in and unlocked the first lock. "One more lock to go before it's bye-bye partner hehe.." He came at Takeshi swinging a sword around toward Takeshi's neck. Then another attack he kicked Takeshi with much force. By doing that he left himself wide open at that moment though. Zell watched as Takeshi seemed to be getting even more and more hurt but Uotsuki too. Hmpf... if I didn't know better I'd say Takeshi's demon is having quite a fun time. Hm.. now he's swinging around a tree branch... I'm guessing that's a sword in Takeshi's eyes. Finally she gained enough strength to stand but she wobbled so much she almost fell right back down. "The time has come, to pull out my last weapon hehe.." He reached for the pocket in his pants and pulled out a hand gun and held it up toward Takeshi's chest. "This is the end for ya and pretty Zell too... hmhmhmhahahahaha!!! NOW PREPARE YOURSELF......................................BANG!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man that was a knockout, ya get it huh?" He looked at Takeshi waiting for a response. "Oh I get it, ya'll's not amused are ya? Oh well........time's almost out partner. Make ya'll's last words good ones. Hehe... but I won't give ya'll the time to do that because I'm just that bad HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!" He turned toward Zell and threw a dagger at the other lock and broke it off.

The horse scared from the flying object toward it took off and the platform below Zell disappeared. She was struggling for air that she couldn't get. Why does....... Takeshi look..... like that? Did he get hurt....... and I didn't see? Zell was taking slow steps toward Takeshi each time losing strength. Takeshi......please go.....go back to being yourself......Takeshi......TAKESHI!!! "Takeshi..." She collapsed on him and began to hold him tight. "Takeshi please....please go back to being yourself. I saw you like this before and I didn't like it then and I don't like...like it now. Please.....GO BACK TO BEING THE REAL TAKESHI!!!" Somehow she had blacked out for a second and woke up on the ground. "Ugh, now that was enough to make me lose my lunch. Now where were we..... oh yeah! She messed up my illusion.... I let my guard too down on her, but I've learned my lesson, hmpf! Alright let's get back to the part where......unn!! OWW!! What in tar-nation!"

He looked down to see Zell holding a rock and jabbing it into his foot. Zell was breathing heavily and was sweating from the pain she was enduring. She glared up at him and he shot a more furious glare down at her. She finally passed out from exhaustion and fell asleep on the ground next to his foot. "Well I wasn't expecting this wench to be able to hurt me in such a condition, well no choice but to dispose of the trash." He kicked Zell and sent her flying with enough force to break the entire left side of her ribs. While in the air she coughed up blood and landed with a huge thud. She now had a broken right arm and coughed up more blood along with her breath. He turned back toward Takeshi waiting for his reaction. "Well the time was fun but we are now outa time. Well sigh... I must be gettin' a goin' now or else I'm gonna be glared down by ya. Hope you and the girl end up gettin' healed. I wanna fight you two again.... as well as taste her blood again. Well ciao for now partner!!" With one last illusion he disappeared into the woods not to be seen again that night. Zell was there left on the ground losing life in the very seconds they breathed.

"Hehe, so you wanna make fun of me partner? Huh huh HAHAHAHA!!"[/u]

Make fun, huh? Demon Takeshi just smirked and chuckled. "Make fun? Now why would I do that partner? Making fun of people is a child's game, I'm just merely mocking you." He told him with a smirk still plastered on his face. The smirk only grew larger as Uotsuki said he was surprised he wounded him. "I'll let you in on a little something. I'm nothing like the original Takeshi, I'm much deadlier. I'll be having you shit your pants within minutes." He told him as he disappeared again and swiped at Uotsuki. If it met him, he would have a deep jagged wound in his arm running down. He stood there as he told them to go to an old fashioned town to play with guns and rope and whatnot. When it went to that scene, he just looked at him, not believing it. "I'm not foolish like Takeshi, I won't fall for it. You're illusions are nothing, child's play. You're gonna have to do better than that."

"So what ya think? Pretty sad ain't it? Hehehe... now you need a prize to work for so you get a fightin' real good. Look over there."[/u]

Demon Takeshi's eyes strayed to the side, but having Zell tied up to a pole with rope around her neck didn't phase him at all. He could feel that it phased the real Takeshi inside, but not him. "You really are a fool. You think I care about that good-for-nothing hybrid over there? What a joke." He said as he pulled his sleeve down a bit. "An execution, huh? If you ask me, I think you're the one who needs to be executed for stealing her sword and then killing her when she's defenseless." Said Takeshi, but his eyes flashed they're normal color for a minute, then back to red crimson. It was still the demon's voice, but the real Takeshi's words.((hence why it's pink. Demon=red Normal=white together=pink)) demon Takeshi's eyes widened a bit and he glared. Damn! He gained control for a minute! I'm lacking control..

Takeshi stood there, with no actual expression on his face as he watch Uotsuki pull out daggers and whatnot from his pockets. "What are those toys gonna do? You think that'll kill me? You really are a fool, partner." He told him smugly, but still had no expression. When he began throwing, he flew to the side as another cut him in the arm. He looked down, and moved to the other side, only to get scratched on the face. He looked at Uotsuki as he told him he's only get hit by more. So, he just stood there, getting stabbed by the ones that came straight forward. Stabbed, scratched, nicked, whatever. He found it pointless to move if he was only to get hit by more. Blood dripped to the ground, followed by more. And even more when he began to pull them out, but showed no sign of pain. "Are we done throwing things now? Or would you like me to get you a spear to toss around?"

Everyone seems to have a habit of calling us wolf face or emo wolf.. What's u with that?! We're not wolves dammit! He sighed as he broke one of the locks off. [color=Red"I'll tell you one more time, I don't care for that good-for-nothing-half breed![/color] He half yelled as he was suddenly beside Uotsuki, lifting his leg and kicking him in the stomach, probably breaking a few of the bottom ribs. Then punched him hard enough that Takeshi's hand popped. He flexed his hand a bit as he ignored the gun put up to his chest. He looked at Uotsuki like he was a retard as he laughed and whatnot. "You like to make yourself laugh, don't'cha? I'll tell you right now that it's annoying the hell out of me and the reason you aren't shooting is because the gun isn't real, but I on the other hand, have a real one." He told him as he pulled DDS out, but froze when he broke the last lock. The real Takeshi regained control for a minute, it still looked like Demon Takeshi, but it was him. He slammed his hand back into the hole he made earlier and twisted his hand inside of him, then tore his hand up.

Takeshi then thrust forward as he took his hand out and put the one that wasn't bloody on his head. Shaking his head, the Demon came back out. "Woo-wee there, partner! He almost gained control." Said Demon Takeshi as he smirked, but that Vanished when Zell grabbed onto him. He just stood there. It wasn't working. "The real Takeshi ain't comin' back, don't waste your breath. He's not surfacing, no matter how much you plead." He said as he stood there when she blacked out. He looked back up at Uotsuki and stepped away from here as the town went back to the forest. "Now that that's over.. Let's continue." He said as he began to swing at him again, until once again, Zell woke up, who began to stab Uotsuki in the foot with a rock. Stupid, what does that accomplish?

Demon Takeshi just shook his head as he watched Zell fly into the tree and listen as her ribs broke. He did become infuriated as Uotsuki left. "Coward!! Come back here!" He then froze, and slowly, but surely, shakily began to grab DDS. "Stop....What....are you...doing?!"

Running through the forest, came little Kisa. She sensed Demon Takeshi from the house and knew something bad went on. She brought a cell phone as well, just in case. Coming into the clearing, she saw Takeshi with red crimson eyes holding DDS, as he held it up to his chest, but seemed to be struggling. "Nii-chan!!" She yelled as she ran for him, but it was too late, and he pulled thew trigger, shooting himself. He dropped DDS and looked at Kisa with his normal crimson eyes as she fell to her knees beside him, crying. He smiled softly. "Kisa..." He coughed a bit as a little bit of blood oozed out of his mouth. She quickly took out the cell phone she brought and dialed the police, telling them that two people were severely injured and needed quick attention, but Takeshi blacked out before she even hung up the phone.

Zell was out cold but she heard the gun shot. She didn't exactly know what the sound was but she didn't like it. She sound made her feel uneasy. She tried to breath but each time she did it felt like she was only breathing in blood. The sound echoed in her head. It almost seemed like it affected her brain somehow. The sound made her feel sick to her stomach. Something happened and she didn't know what it was, but something told her she wouldn't like it.

I hear sounds....what are these sounds? It sounds like beeping. Wait beeping! Where am I!? She tried to wake up but her eyes wouldn't open. She twitched a bit and heard voices in the background. "Hey, hey wake up miss! It's ok you're just having a dream." She gasped and then finally opened up her eyes. She looked around and then recognized what the place was. "Ah! WHY AM I AT THE HOSPITAL AGAIN!? I WON'T GO BACK TO THAT MAGIC TRIBE! GAH!!!" She grabbed her stomach where her ribs were broken. "Again? What do you mean again miss, to both of them?" She looked around trying to remember what happened. Was all that has happened to me a dream? "Miss, you were out for two weeks. Almost every bone in your body was broken, you had a ton of puncture marks, and you were suffering from extreme loss of blood. What happened to you?" "Hm?" She smiled and shrugged and shook her head. She heard a popping noise and tried not to make a sound. "Miss are you alright?" "Oh yeah, I'm just fine." She turned her head away from the doctor and screamed to herself. She lay back down and felt how soar her body was. She began to think and suddenly she realized what had happened two weeks earlier.

She popped up and tried to get off the bed. "Takeshi!! Where's Takeshi!! Takeshi!!! Takeshi, where is he!!! TAKESHI!!!! TAKE...." The doctor had to hold her down. "Miss please calm down. You'll make your injuries even worse if you get so worked up like that." "Sir where is Takeshi!!" "Takeshi you say? I'm sorry I don't know that face off the top of my head, but I've heard the name." Zell was holding her stomach now. Damnit! I reopened my wounds!! GAH!!!! It hurts! "Where is Takeshi, and where is Kisa? Kisa can't survive on her own. Where is Takeshi?" The doctor looked at her and explained there was nothing they could do, but the whole time Zell shook her head denying everything he said. Takeshi. Takeshi. Takeshi. Takeshi.

The third day she was awake the doctors had left to check on other patients leaving Zell all alone. This is when Zell decided that she would try to find Takeshi and Kisa herself. She began to prop herself up on the side of the bed and then jumped off onto her feet only to feel a sudden shock of pain. She fell to her knees but used the bed to lift herself back up and she used the walls to help guide her. She walked about most of her strength off and was about to collapse and then she saw Takeshi in the room next to her. "Ta..Takeshi!" She made her way over to the window to the room and looked through it. "Takeshi!! Takeshi!!" Suddenly nurses started to surround her. "Hey Miss, I don't think you should be out of bed without an escort." "You look weak let's get you back to your room." "Hey are you alright, Miss?" She took in one last breath and screamed out. "TAKESHI!!!!" After that she felt light-headed and dizzy. The room began to spin and her vision blurred. Then she collapsed right there on the ground. "HEY MISS ARE YOU OKAY!?" "SOMEONE CALL THE DOCTOR IN HERE!"

Well Zell woke up she was back in the bed she had started out with. Hey eyes widened and she came up quickly. "TAKESHI!!" She began coughing and saw that she had coughed up some blood. "You brought yourself to your limits. You are in serious condition and you strained your body too much." She almost seemed to ignore what he said and opened up her mouth and a small weak whisper came out. "Sir.....Takeshi? Is he okay?" The doctor looked at her with a questioned look on his face. "Is Takeshi better than how...I am right now?" "Oh you must mean the silver haired boy with the little girl, yes he is doing fine, fine indeed." "That's good, but is he doing better than me at this moment, Doctor?" He seemed hesitant to answer, but finally did. "Yes ma'am. He is doing very well. He is in a bad condition but he is in a better condition than you, Miss." She smiled with relief in her eyes. "Thank goodness." He walked out of the room as one of the nurses was standing there waiting to talk to him. "Doctor, you do realize that by preforming that stunt today, she made it even worse. She intensified her breathing and that put too much stress on her heart. Not to mention when her ribs broke, it shattered and parts of it hit her heart and it was severely damaged from bruises and other markings as well. She doesn't..." "Yes I realize that. She doesn't seem like she has many more days to live. I'm guessing that this boy Takeshi Lamperouge is the closest to her. In her sleep she constantly says his name. I think she might have suffered from some brain damage as well. I think we should tell him her condition and possibly her fate."

As they approached the room where Takeshi was they were breathing heavily. "She is such a nice girl though. She will sit there and talk to you about a good conversation. She's very kind-hearted. It's a shame that someone like her has to suffer such a fate." "Yes, indeed. Very sad it is. Alright let's make this as kind, caring, and simple as we can make it, okay?" They both walked in and saw Takeshi and Kisa in the room. "Mr. Takeshi Lamperouge, we have something we need to tell you." There was a brief silence and then the doctor began again. "Is that your friend, that girl with the silver hair and the golden amber eyes?" He allowed Takeshi and Kisa to respond and then began again. "That girl, Zell Sham is her name correct, well she.... she is in a very serious condition. There is a 97% chance that she won't make it. She's put too much strain on her heart and she doesn't have enough blood to supply for her body. She's dying." There seemed to be denial in the air and then the nurse spoke up. "In other words, that girl is pretty much dead right now. There is almost no chance for her to survive. It's almost to the point where we would just have to put her to sleep like they do dogs. You're friend will be on her death bed in the next couple of days. So if you want to see her, now would be a good time. She's been asking for you for about almost three weeks straight now."

"Okay little miss, what happened here?" Asked a policeman to a tear-stroke faced Kisa who was shaking. "I-I-I-I... Don't know.. I, I came here a-and Z-Z-Zell was, on the ground, b-bleeding badly and m-my brother, sh-shot himself.." Kisa finally stuttered as more tears fell down her face. The policeman patted her head and bent down to look her in the eyes. "It's alright, little miss. Your brother is in our care now. Tell me though, do you know any reason of why he would shoot himself?" He asked. She knew she couldn't tell him the truth of him being a half-demon. She was afraid they'd take him away. So she just shook her head no. He just closed his eyes, nodded and tilted his hat. "Alrighty then, guess we'll have to ask when he wakes up. C'mon, I'll give you a lift to the hospital." He said as he smiled at her, which she slightly returned. They then got into the car together and drove off, having a silent car ride.

Stopping in front of the hospital, Kisa quickly got out. "Wait little Missy!" The policeman called out, which made her stop before shutting the door. "Be safe, alright? Give my regards to your brother, and tell him I'll be visiting him soon." He told her with a smile, and she just nodded, then ran off. Entering the hospital, she to the front desk and looked at the woman there. "Has Nii-chan and Onee-chan arrived yet?! They arrived right?! Where are they?!" She questioned. "Alright alright, calm down sweetie. Now, who is your Onee-chan and Nii-chan, hm?" She asked sweetly. "Takeshi Lamperouge and Zell...!" The nurse gave her a blank stare. "Okay.. I know of Takeshi Lamperouge and there is a Zell next to him, but there are other Zell's here as well, sweetie.. What is her last name?" She asked. "Just take me there!" Kisa ordered. "I'm sorry sweetie, but they can't take visitors yet, they're still be treated and Zell has went under surgery.. They're in very bad condition, Hun.." Tears swelled up in Kisa's eyes as she began to cry very hard. The nurse went into shock. C-calm down sweetie! I'm sure they'll live! They seem like very strong people! Please don't cry dear.." The Nurse tried to tell her comfortingly. "So, where are your parents..?" She asked, looking around desperately. "I, don't, have, any, anymore!" Kisa told her between breaths. "Nii,-chan, was, all, I had!" The nurse then gave her a sympathetic look. "Oh dear, I'm so sorry.. So your brother takes care of you and himself? That has to be difficult.. Are you in an orphanage? I can take you to-" the nurse cut herself off and gasped as things that didn't have legs began to rise as even Kisa's hair went back a bit. She was using her telekinesis. "Don't you dare! You will not separate me and Nii-chan! We're fine on our own, we don't need your help!" Kisa told her fiercely. It wasn't like her, she didn't get angry, but the thought of her getting separated from Takeshi infuriated her and she wasn't about to let the likes of this nurse to cause it. So, she kinda just blew that secret that they were half-demons, but she didn't care. She had a feeling the nurse wouldn't do anything, since she was shaking with fear. Dropping everything, she turned her back on the nurse. "Tell me when I can visit him." she said as she walked over and sat on a waiting chair.

Hours passed and Kisa eventually ended up falling asleep on the chair, only to be awoken when a different nurse shook her arm. "Would you like to see your brother, sweetie? He's still sleeping, but he should awaken soon." She told her as Kisa jolted up. "I wanna see Nii-chan!" She piped happily as she pranced around, waiting for the nurse to begin. She just giggled as she began walking with Kisa following. "Here he is. A fine looking brother you have, if I do say so myself." She said, but Kisa didn't pay attention and ran inside. "Nii-chan!" She said as she ran over and stood by his bed, looking at a sleeping Takeshi. Looking down, she put her little hand on Takeshi's hand and took a seat next to him. "I'll just leave you two alone." The nurse said with a smile as she walked away. Kisa didn't even glance her way. Days then passed and Kisa remained in the same spot, sometimes checking on Zell. The only reason she got to stay was because she threatened the people if she couldn't. They would bring her food and even changes of clothes. Days turned to weeks, and still Takeshi nor Zell was waking up. She knew Zell wouldn't anytime because of how injured she was, and also knew Takeshi wouldn't because of the bullet that went from DDS, a demon hunting gun, into his chest that wasn't far from his heart. Then there was also the holes from the daggers Uotsuki threw, but she didn't know of those. Then there was also the fact that Takeshi liked sleeping.

Takeshi tightened his eyes a bit, but then opened them, squinting as the bright light jabbed him in the eyes. "Ow.. Could the make the light any brighter..?" He mumbled as he rubbed his eyes, looking to the side to see a sleeping Kisa holding his other hand. Smiling slightly, he placed his hand on her back and shook a bit. "Hey, Kiki, wake up." Takeshi said. Kiki was the nickname he called Kisa, which he hadn't used in awhile. A few minutes later, she finally woke up and looked at him for a second with tired eyes that immediately widened when she finally realized Takeshi was awake. "NII-CHAN!!" she yelled as a big smile stretched on her face and she jumped up, giving him a hug. He turned to the side and made a pained face, but patted her back. "Alright, I get it, you're happy I'm up.." He told her as she smacked him. "Ow! What was that for?!" He asked as he rubbed hi arm, looking at a tearful Kisa. "You had me worried, Nii-chan! Don't do that ever again, or I won't forgive you!" She yelled at him as she put her head in her hands as she cried. "Kiki.. I'm sorry.." He said as he got himself up and pulled her onto the bed, but then put his head down, since it hurt like hell. Kisa couldn't help but laugh. I see, so when I'm in pain she laughs.. "Well it's about time you woke up, Mr. Lamperouge." Said the doctor has he walked in, making them turn their heads to look at him. "I'll have you know you're sister hasn't left your side since you came here. Not even to go home." He told him as Takeshi looked at her, making her look down. "Kisa, you should've gone home.." He told her, but she shook her head. "No! I couldn't sleep there without you there! Besides, I didn't want to miss it when you woke up!" She told him. "How long have I been out, anyway...?" He asked. "Almost a three good weeks." "THREE WEEKS?!" Takeshi screeched. "I..said almost." the doctor said as he scratched his ear. "Wait, what about Zell?!? Zell Sham, she should be here!" He told the doctor anxiously. "White hair? She's next door. Surprisingly woke up before you did. Missed the scenario she made earlier. All she had been asking for since she woke up is you." He explained, but before Takeshi could reply, another doctor walked in along with a nurse.

They explained that Zell was dying. Kisa denied it, but Takeshi expected no less. She was injured, terribly, no one would survive that. It was pure luck that she survived this long already. "Is she now? I suppose that was expected.." He said as he stood up from the bed and walked out, Kisa following. "Excuse me for a minute." He said as he passed the doctor, entered Zell's room and closed the door. He looked over at her. "Hey Zell. Bad news, long story short, you're dying." He told her bluntly as he walked over. "I can fix that though, so stand still." He told her as he placed a hand on her upper chest, slightly below the neck, making him blush slightly. Well, he IS a guy.. May be a cold one, but still a guy. With that, he then began to heal her. A little while later, he removed his hand and turned away. "There, you should be better now." He told her as he walked away, leaving Kisa just staring after him. She turned to Zell. "Forgive him, Onee-chan. He really does care for you. He wouldn't do this for just anyone. Besides, when you were fighting or something and he saw you get hurt, he went and lost control of his demon. It may seem bad, but it should actually mean a lot to you." She said as she then ran after him, stopping in the doorway and looked at Zell. "But, I do think he's upset. You see, when he heals deep wounds on someone, he absorbs their memories. So whatever your past contained, he saw it, he knows it and it must've upset him. So now he knows you better than you think." She said as she left the room.

Zell was barley awake and was fighting to stay awake. She was in great pain and her chest hurt a lot. She was trying to stay awake so she wouldn't miss it when the doctor walked in. She was going to ask about Takeshi like she did everyday and see if he was alright. She figured she had annoyed them by now asking about him. Suddenly she heard foot steps at the door way and turned her head in that direction. "Doct..." She gasped as she saw Takeshi standing there in the door way. "Ta..Takeshi!" She was a bit slurred in speech.
"Hey Zell. Bad news, long story short, you're dying."
Zell smiled and didn't care about anything that happened to her. She was just so happy to see Takeshi and Kisa at that moment. Tears began to feel her eyes. "Takeshi you're alright. You finally woke up. I'm so glad."


"I can fix that though, so stand still."
She looked at him with a confused look as he placed his hand on her. She widened her eyes a bit and felt a bit of a pink tint come to her face. She noticed that he did too. As he began to heal her she had a strange sensation. It felt like she wasn't even there. It almost tingled a bit and made her even more drowsy. She sat there feeling it and almost having no expressions to it. It's almost a pleasurable feeling.. She watched as Takeshi seemed to have many emotions cross his eyes and she thought he looked like he was watching some show and was really into it. When he finally finished he seemed to be upset and left the room. She looked over at Kisa trying to stay awake.
"Besides, when you were fighting or something and he saw you get hurt, he went and lost control of his demon. It may seem bad, but it should actually mean a lot to you."
She smiled at Kisa. "It does Kisa. It means a lot to me. It makes me feel good that he seems to almost care for me as much as he cares for you, but I doubt he does." She stopped for a minute to take in a few breaths. "Kisa.....please tell me, how did Takeshi end up in here? When I think about it he didn't have as many injuries as me and those injuries mean nothing to him, so why is he in here?" She waited for Kisa to reply not knowing if she would or not.

"But, I do think he's upset. You see, when he heals deep wounds on someone, he absorbs their memories. So whatever your past contained, he saw it, he knows it and it must've upset him. So now he knows you better than you think."
She watched as Kisa went out the door. Memories? I don't have much of memories, so why would he be so upset? All I remember is waking up in the hospital, going to that magic tribe, and just wandering around for a while. Nothing bad, but I do wander how I ended up in the hospital. Her breathing sped up as she felt her heart actually beating. She hadn't felt her heart beating in days. He really did heal me! But I don't think he healed any of my bones, just my heart. She silently thanked Takeshi as if he were still there. She lay there looking up at the ceiling. Does he really like me like Kisa said he did? I wish I had telepathy. She began to think childishly to pass the time.

A few days later Zell woke up in a cold sweat. She had forgot she was in the hospital and that Takeshi was still there in the hospital too. "Takeshi!! Where is he!! Takeshi!!" The doctor and two nurses just stood there watching as she threw a tantrum for Takeshi. The two nurses had to hold her down so she wouldn't cause any more stress on her body by getting up and walking around. She still had many puncture wounds and broken bones. They were dumbfounded when they discovered that she wasn't on the verge of death so they payed good attention to her. "We should probably go get Takeshi and show her that's he's okay." They nodded their heads in agreement. "I think you should go by yourself though Doctor. We might need to stay here and hold her down." He went to Takeshi's room and asked him if he would come and see Zell to let her know that he was alright. As he looked out the window of the room he saw a nurse run by and wondered where she was going if she was running.When the doctor came back in three nurses were holding down Zell. "Hello Doctor! We had to call in some more help to keep her from kicking one of us!"

Later that day they found that Zell had a high temperature. "A fever. That's just what we need. Well I guess that explains why she was so restless earlier." He looked through the window toward Zell. Well she sure is something isn't she? Zell was staring up at the ceiling once again and was lost in though. I wonder how Kisa is taking all of this and if she is alright. Seeing Takeshi in the hospital like this must be hard on her. Considering how her and him are so close. She turned to her side and remembered the doctor told her she had a fever and that she need plenty of rest to get better. She blew upward toward her bangs to amuse herself. Man! I'm so bored. I wish I could talk to Kisa or Takeshi right now. She looked at the floors and was a bit disgusted. "I know they preform surgeries and stuff so of course there would be blood stains, but could they at least do a bit better of a job at cleaning up. Also the dirt and crap on the ground ain't any better." She looked at the ground for a few minutes and then heard a voice. She smiled and then turned quickly to see who it was.

[Takeshi]

"Ta..Takeshi!" "Takeshi you're alright. You finally woke up. I'm so glad."[/u]

Takeshi rolled his eyes a bit. "Well of course I'm alright. I didn't get nearly as bad as you did." He told her. "Now, worry about yourself instead of me." He told her with a serious but stern tone of voice. Man, slept for a little while longer than she did and she thinks I'm dead.." He mumbled, making Kisa giggle, but then looked serious. "Nii-chan.. I thought you were dead too though.." She told him and he felt like banging his head into the wall. "Doesn't anyone here have any faith in me.." He asked her. Nii-chan.. You shot yourself.. And it is a demon hunting gun.." She explained. "But I'm only half." He said as he walked away. She just gave him a sad look.

As Takeshi healed Zell, he felt like he wasn't even there. He was in a different setting. Shit.. Don't tell me I'm gaining her memories..? Wait.. She doesn't remember her past though.. So where the hell am I? He then saw a little white haired girl run past him. Zell.. As a child..? He watched the child run into a house, and suddenly appeared in it. Her old house...? At first, it was a family of four. An elder brother, mother, father, and her. Not too bad, but then things changed to a funeral. It was her brother's funeral, and they were having a funeral for a soldier. So he was in the army and got killed.. Things changed again, and now her father was lying in bed with the doctor saying he had Leukemia. Then it went to his funeral. Her father, died of Leukemia..? The scenery kept changing now to different times her mother abused her. "St..." He started. It then went to the time her mother got fired and really began to hit her. "Stop it!!!" He yelled, but appeared back in reality. Her panted just slightly as he looked at his hand. That's right.. That was the past.. I, can't change whats already been done... He looked at Zell then, and lifted hair from the side of her head, revealing a scar. I see.. Letting go of her hair, he walked out.

"It does Kisa. It means a lot to me. It makes me feel good that he seems to almost care for me as much as he cares for you, but I doubt he does."

Kisa smiled at her. "I wouldn't be too sure about that.. Takeshi has a big heart that needs to be filled.. Whether he shows it or not." She said with a giggle.

Kisa went serious now, but then smiled crookedly somewhat. "He shot himself with DDS." She told her. "He couldn't regain his normal self, so he shot himself to become him again. You see, every time he transforms into his demon, the demon becomes that much stronger inside him and it is harder for him to regain control.. In other words, his demon form is becoming much stronger.."

Takeshi sighed angrily as he wished they'd release him. He knew why though. It was dangerous, even for a half-demon, to be shot with DDS. At times he'd still fell great pain shock throughout him and he knew the bullet was still in work, whether inside him or not. The doctors then came in and they asked for him to go and see Zell. "She's asking for me again? But she knows I'm awake and fi-gyuh!" He grunted a bi, grabbing his chest. "Nii-chan!" "Mr. Lamperouge?!" Said the doctor and Kisa. He breathed. "I'm fine." He said as he walked out and into Zell's room, but only found multiple nurses trying to hold her down and not get kicked.

"Sheesh, Zell, calm down! You know I'm right next door and I'm perfectly fine." Takeshi said as the nurses left now that he was here. "So what's up, why you asking me here so much?" He questioned. She seemed to want him here everyday. "Scared of the hospital or something?" He asked with a smirk. He inhaled deeply then and grabbed his chest again. Ow.. My chest hurts.. He then coughed, and looked at his hands, which now had blood on them. "Well shit, that can't...be...goo....d" His vision began to get blurry and soon passed out. Shortly after, the doctors came in and too him away.

A little while later, Takeshi's doctor entered Zell's room after her doctor and nurse left. "Miss Sham, about Mr. Lamperouge.." He began. "He's in bad condition.. Not only because the bullet hit near hit heart, but.. When was the last time he came to the hospital?" He asked, looking back between Zell and Kisa, who has remained in her room since the incident. "He hasn't been to the doctor in years.. He doesn't like coming here. says he doesn't need to." Kisa told him. "I see.. Well, He couldn't be more wrong.. He has a very rare disease called Sagashite. It's severe, but curable, but the cure is hard to find and difficult and expensive to receive. Have he come sooner, it would not be this bad.. You see, Sagashite is a disease that infects the chest area. It's a bad infection that grows throughout the body as years pass. It's hard to tell if you have it or not and that's why most people die from it.. He's had it for what seems for many years, and since that bullet hit him, it seems to have made it worse... We may not be able to cure him... I am sorry to tell you that, but don't worry, we will do everything we can to make sure he survives." The doctor said. With this news, Kisa burst into tears. "Nii-chan will make it! I know he will! He'd never leave me behind!! He won't die! He won't die!! He can't die.." Kisa said as she cried. "I'm sorry, Miss Lamperouge, Miss Zell... I shall leave you to your grief.." He said as he walked out.
