Success? (Zell)

[Takeshi]

Takeshi stumbled around, not really knowing where he was going for the time being. Really, he just walked through the forest and found a path he hadn't seen before. Where the hell am I?! Dammit! He looked back to where he came only to get smacked in the face with a branch. "Gah!" He yelled out as he held his face. He clenched his teeth as he grabbed the branch and quickly kicked it, making it break off the tree. Examining it, he threw it to the side and continued on.

Takeshi was much more, jumpy, than usual, if at all. even by the slightest sound he would quickly pull out DDS and point it at the source, only to find that it was nothing. He was getting rather infuriated with himself. Nothing is here! This is a waste of time, I should just head back. He stopped in his tracks and looked to the side, but refused to turn around. He didn't want another smack in the face. Sighing, he decided against it and continued on until he came across a lake. Looking up, he saw the full moon. It's not the full moon.. Nor is it night.. So why is it showing..? Looking back down, he watched as the water just sparkled.

Takeshi sat down by the water and ran his hand through it. Truth be told, it's rather pretty and peaceful here.. I should bring Kisa sometime, I'm sure she'll like it. We can make it our little secret place, although I'm sure other people come here as well.. If they did though, wouldn't the lake be , I don't know, not how it is now? Hm..Still.. He continued to think on in silence, although he could sense another presence nearby, but didn't much attention to it. He gripped on DDS just in case.

Zell continued looking up at the sky as though it would give her the answer to the direction she needed to head. I wonder if the sky has always looked this sad and distant? Something seems different about it.[i][/i] She shook her head and knocked herself out of thought. She began walking through the path in the bare plain toward the trees. Zell began looking down at her feet and started thinking.

I feel a strange sensation. I wonder what it belongs to. She then tripped over her feet and landed straight on her face. OW!! Ugh i have to stop that. I can't keep going into thought when I'm walking. What if i get into a battle. I'll just get myself killed! Damn. Zell pushed herself back up and started walking through the trees. All the trees are so thick. Hm? I think I see some water ahead. Zell finally pushed herself through the cluster of branches. She felt a sudden burning feeling and looked down. Aw man! Guess I wasn't paying attention to what cut me. She looked up ahead of her and saw something across the lake. She couldn't make out what the blur was. Hm, I wonder what that is. Well why don't i just go see.

Takeshi continued to play with the water as he sensed the person getting closer. Now he could sense it more clearly and knew it wasn't human. His hand stopped in the water as a smirk grew on his face. Maybe this was more worth my time than I thought. Today might just end up being a lucky day after all. He chuckled slightly as he took the hand that was in the water out and leaned back, lifting DDS up to cover the moon bit. DDS seems to be shinier than usual today. Letting go of DDS, he quickly went and grabbed the chain that was connected to it and began twirling it in the air. Perhaps I'll finally be able to kill a demon today. Hopefully, since my hunts have been going unsuccessful lately.

A sudden rush of branches made him stop twirling DDS and look across the lake. To his surprise, it was a white haired female that was pretty short, with auburn eyes. The smirk he wore earlier came back to his face as he threw DDS in the air, catching it by the handle of the gun. Pointing it at the girl, he pulled back the hammer and placed his finger on the trigger. Shouldn't be hard, not at all. All I gotta do is first see if she is a demon, then shoot with not further question. Hmph, it's be an awful shame if she was, she is rather pretty, but I've killed many pretty female demons, so this will be no different. No remorse, no mercy.

Zell began walking closer and the figure started to take shape. She tilted her head and a smile came to her face. She gasped and then took a deep breath. "HI THERE! Who are you!" She put her hand down waiting for a response. The smile on her face turned into a shocked frown as the shape of what he was holding shaped into a gun looking weapon. She was frozen and couldn't move. What the why won't I move. My body won't move. Am I scared? No I'm not scared I think my legs are in shock. Move, MOVE! Then the sound of a demon in the background echoed through the sky.

Ah! Oh no I'm bleeding. That demon must have got me when I was in shock. Zell stood there leaned over holding her arm where she was just cut on the arm. She was gasping for air. She was looking down at the puddle of blood below her and suddenly heard chuckling. She looked up at the boy she had seen earlier. What! How could? Zell sat there dumbfounded

Takeshi's eyes just followed the girl as she walked closer. The girl smiled and tilted her head at him, then excitedly said hello, asking who he was. His turned smug then when the girl's smile faded and she looked at him shocked. "You sure you wanna know?" He asked smugly. His grin went away though when the sound of a demon went in his ears. Great. Then again, I am a demon hunter, so this is wonderful! The smirk he wore before returned as he stood up.

Walking forward a bit towards the girl, he lifted DDS at the demon and pulled the trigger. The demon was killed instantly when the bullet hit it, and Takeshi's eyes trailed back to the girl. "Pitiful. Couldn't you sense such an obvious thing behind you? You call yourself a demon.. Ridiculous." He said as he lifted the hand that held DDS and pointed it at her. "Well, whatever. It doesn't matter how pitiful you are as a demon, you'll be dead soon." He told her in a stern tone with a serious look, once again pulling back the hammer.

Zell looked up from her delirious gaze at the ground. She gasped and stood in awe staring at the boy. That bullet could have hit me and killed me instantly. I still can barely move. Now he was holding the gun at her. The words he said echoed in her head. Soon Zell's awe gaze turned into a glaring stare. "How could I have sensed it when I could barley move! Why are you holding that gun up at me? I never did anything to you. All I said was hi and who are you." She still had a chill in her blood from what he said as he stood up and first aimed the gun at her. How dare he! He acts as though he's ignoring me. How rude of him.

Zell and the boy stood there without saying a word. There was a mild breeze that sent chills down Zell's spine. How did he know I was a demon anyways, even I don't know that much about me. She stood there waiting for a response. "Well since you won't tell me who you are can you at least tell me..." Gah! Unh. The scratch really hurts now. It must have been deeper than I thought. She looked up and saw him still staring at her and then she saw him starting to pull the hammer back. Zell stood there in shock for a second but then grasped the situation. Okay once he shoots I'll make my move and then I'll...

Takeshi continued to look at the girl as she looked up in awe at him. "What? Haven't you seen a gun and a guy before? It's not that surprising." He told her coldly. She then began glaring at him. He listened as she began speaking. "Why should not moving stop you? I was focused on you and I still sensed it." He told her matter-of-fact like. "I'm holding the gun up to you because I hate you, all demons deserve to die, including myself." He said as he tightened his grip on the trigger. "All demons are disgusting creatures, not one deserves to live! So I'll go ahead and rid the world of you, one more demon the world doesn't need." Of course, he was being all talk and no action right now. For some reason, he was hesitating. Why.Can't I shoot her dammit!?

A breeze passed by and Takeshi just stood there as he stood motionless, the only thing moving was his hair. He arched an eyebrow as the girl asked that if he wouldn't tell him who he was then, but she caught off, so he didn't know what. "If you must be polite, then isn't it polite to introduce yourself first? But if you must know, I'm Takeshi Lamperouge(=3)" He told her as she looked up at him. "Hmph, this is pathetic. Getting done in by a scratch? That's sad."

Zell looked at him with a pitied look. "What do you mean all demons should die not all of them are bad. Those who deserve to die are those who are prepared to die. You shouldn't want to kill yourself. Killing yourself won't solve anything. All it will do is just cause more hatred in yourself." He still had an arched eyebrow at her when she said that. "Sorry I guess I just wasn't expecting the wound I received so I had no time to block it." She said with a smirk. "This wound is nothing really. Oh by the way my name is Zell, Zell Sham, since you asked. It's a pleasure to meet you my good sir."

She bowed to him as though he were a prince. Hm, there is something about him that I can't stop thinking about. Is it his eyes? His voice? He's just staring me so I guess I'll just break the ice. "So tell me Takeshi, what are you and why do you strive so much to kill me?" Zell said with a grin on her face as she began to walk around him.

Takeshi stood there as the girl gave him a pitied look, listening as she began to speak. "You're wrong! It doesn't matter if demons are prepared or not to die, they are useless and horrible creatures that have no reason to be here! Killing myself would make one more demons from this world disappear, so it does solve something." He paused for a second. "More? I hate myself as much as I can, there's no possible way I can hate myself anymore, and I'm the same way for all demons. Including you." He told her coldly, again. She smirked as she spoke and he just stood motionless, as he had been. "Always keep your guard up, never let it down. That'll only result in your death if you do." He looked down at her scratch, then to the ground, which was covered with her blood. "Nothing huh?" He asked as he looked back up at her. Zell introduced herself as Zell Sham, and said it was a pleasure to meet him. "You're really going to say that to the guy that's going to kill you?"

Zell then bowed and he just rolled his eyes. "Enough with the proper, formal crap already. If you're doing this to try and make me change my mind about demons, it's not working. There is only one demon, well, half, that is good around here." He was thinking of Kisa, of course, his little sister. That's the only demon, half, he liked. He watched her closely as she smiled and asked what he was and what his strive to kill her was. "what am I? I'm you, I'm a half-demon. As for why I want to kill you, should be obvious. I'm a Demon Hunter. Killing demons is what I live for. It's my job, my main occupation, and interrogating me isn't going to change the fact that today is the day you die by Takeshi Lamperouge."

Zell still stood there smiling as though he were her best friend. She cocked an eyebrow. "My, My. I guess that makes you a hypocrite, saying you hate all demons and then turn around saying that you only like one. Pitiful. Oh well I guess it would be rude to ask you the one is so I'm going to lecture you again." Zell chuckled to herself a bit when he started yelling back at her. "Heh, well to tell you the truth you're the first one to tell me I'm a demon. I didn't know that until just now, or are you bluffing just to be a bully. You know I hate bullies like you hate demons. You say there is no more hate you can store in yourself about your hate, but no one in the world can handle that much. All you'd do is split in half, and if you really care for the one you were speaking of earlier why would you even consider killing yourself?" She stood there for a minute in silence waiting for him to respond.

Finally he responded and seemed very cold. Zell stood there in a mild confused state. "Ugh! You're hopeless man. Killing demons isn't a job, it's a hobby. That's sick and you are..." He cut her off with a threat of her death. "Listen I'm not the only one who is interrogating, you are too. How about this you want to kill me right? Well let's make this interesting. That gun there is pretty threatening and my sword is too, so how about we both give up out weapons and might one on one, not two on two." Zell smirked a little to herself so he wouldn't see it. "You look like you're pretty flexible and fast so how about this be a battle of martial arts? So what do you say?" Hmpf. If he excepts this I'll have the advantage, especially being so close to water. Also I'm skilled in martial arts so this should be easy. I'll attack him and when he's down I'll grab my sword and run for it. I don't want to fight this guy for some reason. That should give me enough time. She chuckled to herself quietly while grinning.

Shit, she's has a point.. Why should I care if that makes me a hypocrite or not? Hell, I'm a freakin' ashhole, so why do I care what that makes me?!ides, how can I hate my sister? "Lecture all you want, it won't work. You won't change my mind." Again, he reapeted the same words. Well he meant it. He looked at her, sort of in surprise that no one had told she was a demon. "You, don't even know you're a half demon? How can you not know?" He lowered his arm finally and shook his head, glowering at the water. "Waste of time speaking, just fucking shoot her already.." He mumbled to himself silently. "A bully? Do you know how childish that just made you sound? I speak nothing but the honest truth. I may be an asshole, but I'm not a liar. Split in half? How can soemthing that was never whole to begin with 'split in half'?" He winced a bit as she metioned the person, whcih was Kisa. "Exactly. I say I want to kill myself, I have for years, no, scratch that, my whole life. So think this over carefully, why do you think I'm stadning in front of you right here right now?"

"Sick? What's sick about it? There are multiple others out there that are just like me. They even have people who torture others to death, slowly and painfully. Me? I give them a quick and easy death. It only hurts for a second. There are others who kill without reason and kill anyone. Me? I kil with a reason and I only kill one race." He explained. He listened as she spoke and squinted a bit, but then took his hand and chucked a side DDS. "Fine, but don't underestimate me, 'Zell'." He told her as he listened to the clunk of the mteal as it hit the ground. "Martial arts huh? Don't know much, if any, but Ill try my best. Just to make sure you don't do any tricks, I'd prefere you move aside your sword like I did DDS." He said, giving her a suspicious look as he heard her chuckle and grin. She's up to something.. I can tell and sense it..

Zell winced a bit when he asked her about why she hadn't know she was a demon. "Because, Because supposedly I suffered from amnesia a year back and, forgot everything. That's how I never knew." She stood there and listened to him for a few more minutes as he spoke. Ow! That hurt saying that was childish. Well if you ask me it's childish he gets upset for nothing and blames everyone else. That stupid, emo, cold blooded vampire.

She listened again to him and was dumbfounded a bit when he accepted her request. What?! Well that caught me off guard but so long as he doesn't use that weird gun of his. But I defiantly have the advantage since he doesn't know any martial arts. Heh, this will be fun. I'll fight for him a little so I can have some entertainment. "Heh, alright I won't use my sword besides I only use it if it is drastic measures and if really necessary. So I have one more question what is the name of that weird contraption? Mine has a name but I can't remember it's name so I would like to know yours." She said with a wide smile.

Without waiting for a full response Zell came at him. "Hah! Keep your guard up sound familiar?" She jumped back to let him attack. "Wow you're slow. Ever considered taking a class?" Just a little bit longer and I'll use it. Hmpf, I want to fight with him though he's interesting. He's not like anyone else I have met before. I mean who goes around killing other people of his race just because he's angry with himself? He's crazy but crazy people always are fun to fight with!

"Amnesia, huh? Sucks for you. Maybe if you get hit on the head again you'll get your memories back. I'll be happy to oblige to do such an act, but don't guarantee that I'll go easy on hitting your head, you might just end up, I don't know, dying from it. You should be careful about who you talk to, if you get a next time." He said as he looked around. It's still pretty dark around here.. Thank god the moon is out, it's pretty much the only light source here.. I might've had some real trouble if there was no light..

"Contraption? It's called a gun, first of all. It's name is Demons Dangerous sorrow, got a problem with the name then don't bother saying anything I wasn't the one that named it anyway, my sister did since she thinks I''m filled with too much sorrow and that it kills demons instantly, if you haven't noticed.." Takeshi explained, referring to the demon earlier. He watched her again as now she had a wide grin on her face. What the hell is this girl planning? She's not throwing her sword down either, so in th- He stopped as Zell came straight for him. He jumped to the sound before she reached him. "I am!" He said as he walked over and brought his leg to kick her as she was turned around. Not even waiting for their skin to come contact, he jumped off to the side and grabbed DDS. "Since you won't place your sword down, I'll just pick DDS back up." He said as he placed it back where it is originally kept.

"Wow you're slow. Ever considered taking a class?"[/u]

"If I'm slow, then consider why I dodged your attack!" Takeshi said as he went for her this time. "Besides..!" He said as he swung a fist at her, then brought his leg up again. "Isn't it polite to wait until your opponent is read?!" He said as he swung at her once again.

Wow this guy's anger is blinding his fighting style. He doesn't know how to fight. He has no foundation. He's just swinging his arms and legs. Pretty stupid. "Why would I wait for someone like you. You couldn't move yourself fast enough anyways. You could barley hit me right there. So don't blame me you slug! Wake up you damn sloth and pay attention to the real life instead of your little demon hunting fantasies that really are all talk and no action against someone like me!"

They're echoing through my head. I've always wondered what my life was like before this tortured life. But something is telling me that I don't want to know my history again. Zell fought a little more and landed a blow on his gun. I should have sent it flying why didn't I!? "Unh...Gah!" Ow that hurt.

"Ugh, I'm getting bored of this you're no fun anymore you emo wolf! I want to just end this now! So why don't I." Zell started moving her hands in a circular motion toward the lake and the water started to ripple.

((He's not that bad...v.v Lol, he ain't angry either, he may seem like it, but if he was angry he'd be losing control.XD))

Now this pissed Takeshi off. "Slow huh?" He said as he glared, like always, and went straight for her, faster than he was going a minute ago. In a swift movement he brought his hand and had stricken it across Zell's face, then brought his leg up now to meet her rib cage with enough force to send her flying, if not break a few ribs. "Me killing demons is not a fantasy and if you want me to do some real action, then I'll be happy to do so!" He said as he pulled out DDS and actually pulled the trigger. He listened to the bang it made echo in the trees as birds squawked and flew away. It's a shame it won't kill her.. If she was a full demon, then it would.. This'll just give her an injury..

Zell then kicked the gun out of his hands, so he brought his foot up and kicked her sword off. "Hurt, didn't it? Fool, it is metal. Let's think before we act next time. Maybe then it'll spare you of less pain." He said as he rolled his eyes. Idiot. She doesn't think much, does she? How dare she think me Killing demons is a fantasy anyway! Serves her right!

Takeshi jsut stood there as she moved her hand. Ate first, he thought nothing of it, that it, until he saw the water moving. Water bending? Interesting... Not really. "I'd like to see you try!" He said as he moved his hand out as well. A sudden crackle of wood breaking went through his ears. Soon a huge tree broke off and he moved his hand quickly up, making it swing right as Zell. He then lifted his other hand up and DDS came flying back to his hand. "If you still don't think I can't take you down, you better think again. I told you before, I'm a Demon hunter, I kill demons for a living. I'm not as weak as I might've seemed there."
