A slight bump woke Fate up. As he opened his eyes he was blinded by the bright lights from above. It took him a moment, but he adjusted his eyes. He scanned the areas. He laying down on a stretcher. People in white coats... Scientists? His first reaction was that he was being taken back to that forsaken lab. No! He couldn't go back! He wasn't going!
"His ribs are broken. There may be some internal bleeding also."
"What happen?"
"He was hit by... a car."
Broken ribs? A car? It was safe to say he was at a hospital. He let out a sign of relief. He remembered now. A kid ran out into the street to get his ball. The car came dashing around the corner. Fate jumped to save the boy. Fortunately, he pushed the boy out of the way, but he was hit in his place. "Is that kid okay?"
"Jacob is fine. A few scratches, but fine. When we make sure you're okay his parents would like to thank you."
Fate smiled slightly. Now he had to get out of here. "Well, you guys can let me go now. I'm perfectly fine." The doctors gave him an crazy look. Yeah, Fate would have did the same if he were them. But to him broken ribs was nothing. He sighed knowing there weren't going to let him free. Plan B! He closed his eyes and pretended as if he was just resting. When in reality he did it so they couldn't see his eyes change colors. He concentrated on the lights in the hallway only. They flickered for a moment, but then shut off completely. He jumped off the stretcher, falling to the ground for a moment in pain. He wrapped his left arm around his ribs, as if that was going to help, and ran.
Once he made it out he turned down another hallway. Panting and leaning against the wall. He knew that by now the lights had cut back on in that hallway. "Ugh... Why don't the Titans ever get hit by a car when saving people?" He pushed off the wall and headed down the alleyway. He had to find some source of electricity soon to heal himself. Not that it was life-threatening. The pain was just getting to him.

Kasumi walked through the streets with her hands in her pockets. She didn't really know where she was going, just felt like being in the city today, get away from just the dry dirt that was usually found outside the cave she slept in. She was more fond of the grass instead of roads, though, but this would do. Of course she could have just gone to the forest, but was being stubborn today. She sat on an empty bench then and just, once, again, began to people watch. She watched the people go by and the cars fly down the street. She was surprised suddenly when a round object went into the street. It was a ball with a kid following after it. Some parent's.. They need to watch their kid better.. She sat there and was just going to let it happen instead of interfering. She wasn't a big shot hero and didn't always help the needy, even if she was right there. She shook her head and made a "tsk" noise as she saw the car begin to go for the kid. She didn't expect to see what she did next. As the boy was about to get hit, someone came into the street and shoved the kid out of the way. The person got hit instead of the boy and her eyes widened as she recognized it to be Fate.
"Fate!!" Kasumi then stood up immediately and began to run towards him, but other people began to get in the way, making a thick coat of people around him. "Move!" She was trying to squeeze through the people, but it was harder than it seemed. Unfortunately, when she was already halfway through the people, the ambulance came an the people cleared the way, making it more difficult. Fate you idiot! What the hell were you thinking running in front of a car like that!? She then almost fell as the crowd broke up and she realized the ambulance was gone. You're not serious!!! She growled under her breathe and began to run after the scent of the ambulance.
When Kasumi walked in through the hospital doors, she was only a bit winded. She looked around anxiously and finally found a doctor. "Um, excuse me sir, which room is Fate Lingod in? Is he okay?" The doctor told her that he was alive, but had some broken ribs and wasn't allowed to see anyone. She nodded and acted like she was going to wait in the Waiting Room, but when the doctor disappeared, she went in the opposite direction. Wait my ass.. The hall she walked in was empty and it really began to make her nervous. Well, it's not everyday she raided a hospital. Truth be told, she wasn't expecting to find him walking down the hallway. "Aren't you supposed to be on one of those bed things Mr.Hero?" She asked as she ran over to him and put her hands on his shoulders to make him stop. "Sit down.. Also, the Titans don;t get hit by cars because most of them can fly! Or have a car themselves.."

He looked around, watching his surroundings intensely. He had to get out of here. He didn't fear the doctors. He just knew what would have happen when they realized he wasn't excatly human. Well, he was, but due to his abilities his body was a bit different from others humans. More than likey the doctors would turn him over to the goverment and that would just lead to more experimenting, only this time in a different country. He could easily take out the hospital's employees if needed be, but that wasn't his dilemma.
His eyes grew wide when he heard that familiar voice. What was the chances Kasumi would have been here. Was he hallucinating? Was the pain really that strong? He looked at her with his crimson eyes, trembling in fear. He was barely shaking, but she would have felt it as she touched him. "I--I can't go back... I won't go back." His mind was all cluttered. He was confused. He just knew he had to run. How did they find him here? Honestly, he wanted Kasumi to leave and pretend as if she didn't know him. It would have kept her safe, but he knew she would have been stubborn and said no. That was one of the very reasons why he liked her. "We can't stop. We have to get away from the innocent civilians at least."
He had been run and hiding all day. Running from agents of the SAPHYRE project. He thought he had saw the end of all that after that incident, but apparently he was wrong. Unfortunately, as he was running he happened to see the young boy out in the street. He couldn't just let the boy get hit, especially knowing he could do something to prevent it. "I'm sorry..." He grabbed her hand and peered his head out from behind the hallway corner to see if it was clear. We dropped two of 'em so that leaves us with.... Eight. More than likely there's more spread throughout the city... So we run? ... Yeah. I'm--We're tired of runnin'. Yeah, but that's all we can do.

Kasumi looked at him confused as she watched him look around, as if something was there. Is he looking for someone, or running from someone? More than likely running, otherwise he'd probably still be on the bed. He needs to stop moving or his wounds may get worse.. He already has broken ribs. Wait, doesn't that usually lead to making his insides bleed as wel? Her face drew blank. Ack!! That's not good!! Where the hell are all the damn doctors?! Why is he up and walking, shouldn't they be watching their patients?!? If I could, I would sue this hospital!!
Kasumi's eyes widened as she felt Fate shake beneath her hands and looked at him as he looked at her, seeing his eyes were crimson. "Fate.. Are you alright?" He told her that he wouldn't go back and this was confusing her greatly. Go back where? To the hospital room? Is the hospital that bad? "Fate, go where? Listen, you have to relax, okay? It's just the hospital. Do you remember anything? You got hit pretty hard.." Looking at him concerned, she back away and held out her hands. An orange oval then appeared around Fate then as her sun power activated. It gradually began to his his wounds.
"What do you mean that? "We can't stop."? What's going on? Are the doctors no good here? I can take you to another hospital if need be." Kasumi said as the oval disappeared and she walked over to him. He then grabbed her hand and apologized, looking over the corner. "Huh? Sorry for what? Look if this is a bad hospital there's no need for you to apologize, it's not your fault.."

No, we fight! If we fight we'd just be proving them right. That--That we're nothing more than a weapon. We both know that isn't true. There's nothin' wrong with us defendin' ourselves! Okay... We got to get away from here. I don't want innocent people getting hurt.
"I'm fine. It's going to take more than broken ribs to keep me down." Unfortunately, they didn't have time to relax. He tried to control his trembling, but couldn't. He hated having to use his powers to hurt people, even if they were the enermy, but it was what he did best. He would deny it to the very end, but knew deep down in his heart that he was a weapon. He thought with the SAPHYRE project gone that he could try and live a somewhat normal life. He looked at her as she backed away and started to heal him. So this was one of her other abilities... "It's not the hopsital or its doctors. No hospital is safe for me now."
He was fully healed now which was great. He would have a much time moving around. "Me being an experiment. I thought I destoryed the whole SAPHYRE project," He paused, "They're here. They've come to get me." He was silent for a moment as he heard footsteps. They were heavy and he knew that they had to be agents. He led her down the hall in the opposite direction of where the footsteps were coming only to be confronted by two more agents at the end of the hall. They were wearing a special type of armor and had special equipped guns.
"30/30-150.... Resistence is futile. Make this as simple as possible and surrender."
Fate remembered those guns, that armor, and the way they spoke. It made him sick. Memories flooded back into his head and he started to tremble again. To make matters worst the other agents had arrived, blocking any chance of retreat in the other direction. He gripped Kasumi's hand tighter. "They're going to keep chasing me unless I go with them or I get rid of them..." He said, "So it looks like i'm going to have to fight." He knew that this hospital wasn't the best area for him to fight end. He didn't want to use his abilities because he may heard someone. The hallway was also small so it was to the agents advantage. "I have to get some place with more space and less people..." He looked around and saw the door leading to the roof. Perfect. He ran for the door, still holding Kasumi's hand.

Kasumi shook her head as he told her that a few ribs wasn't going to keep him down. "Well it should. Injuries like that can lead to much worse damage, even life-threatening situations.. What if the rib had gone into an important organ of yours and you died? I'd have to turn old and gray on my own.. Now wouldn't you just feel guilty?" Kasumi said as she moved her hands according to what she was saying. Oh god.. I sound like an obsessive loser. She gasped a bit and put her hand over her mouth. Oh no! What if he gets mad at me now!? Noo!! I don't want him to be mad!! It's not good if the person your in a relationship with gets mad!! Ah! Fate began to speak again and she broke out of her trance, then cocked an eyebrow. "...So, it is the hospital? Ddi they drug you or something, Fate?" He's not making much sense to me, but I can clearly see something is making him terrified.. I'll figure out what it is soon, I'm sure he'll make it more clear..
"Me being an experiment. I thought I destroyed the whole SAPHYRE project, they're here. They've come to get me."[/u]
Kasumi's eyes widened at this information. No! Fate can't go back! "Well, they can't have you and if they insist on taking you, they'll do it over my dead body!" Now she was getting angry. She lost her mother, almost her father, her home and the permission to enter many towns. She was alone before she met Fate and wasn't planning on being alone again. Besides, Fate obviously didn't want to go back since of the past experiences he had there. Well, who would want to be an experiment? She had no intention of letting him return and was pissed at the F.B.I or whoever it was for even considering taking him back. She followed as Fate led her in a hallway only to meet some people suited in heavy armor as well as quite a few weapons.
"30/30-150.... Resistance is futile. Make this as simple as possible and surrender."[/u]
Kasumi glared at the men but looked at Fate as she felt him beginning to tremble again. She looked back as he held her hand tighter. She sighed out of pure aggravation as there were more armored men behind them. He began to explain that they would follow him until he gets rid of them and said he would have to fight. "I'll be fighting right beside you. Remember, you're not alone anymore, so the chance of them getting you back is quite unlikely. Especially if the person you're fighting alongside can control fire and easily turn them to ashes." She said with a smug grin stretched on her face. He then said he needed a place with space and less people. "But we're blocked off, where are we going to-" She was cut off as he suddenly turned towards a door to the roof she didn't even notice. "Well, that works."

He felt horrible for having her worried about him. He also felt like an idiot for not realizing how serious this injury could have been. He never really thought about things like this since he never really had anyone who cared for him and he could easily heal himself if need be. "Sorry... I didn't mean to cause you pain and make you worry. If it helps any..." He apologize, "I know you'll still look beautiful even when we're old and grey, together." He smiled as tears started to form in his eyes. He wasn't sad. He was actually extremely happy. He didn't know if she realized what she had said, but it meant a lot to Fate. She planned to stay with him. That gave him more incentive to fight.
After hearing kasumi's words, Fate's trembling had stopped. He was calm now and knew excatly what it was he had to do. Still, he didn't want to fight, but they left him with only to choices; go with them or resist. Resistence was he choice. As they made it to the rooftop Fate let go of Kasumi's hand. "If you don't want to you don't have to fight," He said, "Either way, i'll protect you." Eight agents had finally made it to the top of the building with their special guns pointed at Fate. "I see it in those red eyes of yours. You are a killing machine, a weapon. SAPHYRE is your home. You have minor problems, but all that can be fixed. They have the tools to make you into the perfect weapon 30/30-150. Don't you want to live up to your name? Be something great? Once we perfect you we can create more like you. Of course they won't be nearly as good as you. It's your destiny: To lead that army.
"... My name's Fate. Fate Lingod. I control my destiny."
"Why do you choose to fight it? Because Christian Lingod told you otherwise? Because that girl gives you false hopes and dreams to cling to? Do you want the same thing that happen to Christian Lingod to happen to this girl? No, you don't. Come with us and we'll fix you, 'Fate.' Do you seriously think you can protect her from... yourself?"
Fate was silent. He didn't want another incident like what happened to Christian. He couldn't help that. Maybe going back was actually a good idea. Hey! Ya lettin' him get in your head! But he's right. No! We're right! What ya have with Kasumi is right! Ya want to throw that away? No, but I don't want to hurt her. Then don't! Ya in control of ya own destiny marshmellow. Now proceed to beat some ass. Make sure ya look cool doin' it. Kasumi watchin'.

Kasumi shook her head with a smile. "Not pain, just worry. It helps a lot more now though that I know you're a little more concerned about injuries like that. Now you must trust the doctors a litle more as well, as long as a patient in injured they won't allow anyone to take them or for them to leave.. Or, you could always wait until I come to heal you.." She smiled at him but it faded as she saw the tears in his eyes. "And I'm sure you'll be the same. I'm glad I won't be alone." She walked over to him and wiped away a tear about to fall. "Don't cry.. They won't take you back, I promise.. If they do, they'll have to deal with me as soon as I find their asses.." She said with the grin stretching on her face again, oblivious to the real reason of why the tears were there.
They then reached the roof and Kasumi finally noticed he was no longer trembling. That's good.. I don't want to see him shake or cry again.. I can't stand it, it feels.. Painful.. Clearly not as much pain as he probably feels, but I want to cry when he does, it just makes me feel so horrible.. Fate let go of her hand and told her she didn't have to fight if she didn't want to, saying that he'll protect her. This, of course, meant a lot to her and her heart felt like it fluttered a bit, but this wasn't the time to daydream and repeat those words in her head like she wanted to. This wasn't about her. "Thanks, but I'm not the one that needs protection." The men from earlier then walked on the roof. She glared, but listened as the men began to speak. When they were finished, Fate introduced himself as Fate and she threw her arm in front of Fate. "Fate is nothing like that. He doesn't like fighting nor killing. I know this for a fact." She told them sternly. "His home is wherever he wants it to be, you have no right to tell him where he can or cannot live, that is not for you to decide. Fate is fine the way he is and does not need improvements. He is perfect the way he is. There does not need to be anymore of him in this world. With one, he makes the world better, even if it is just by small things. Nobody has to be a big shot hero to do this, they just need to be kind, which is an aspect all of you are obviously lacking."
"Why do you choose to fight it? Because Christian Lingod told you otherwise? Because that girl gives you false hopes and dreams to cling to? Do you want the same thing that happen to Christian Lingod to happen to this girl? No, you don't. Come with us and we'll fix you, 'Fate.' Do you seriously think you can protect her from... yourself?"[/u]
Kasumi noticed Fate fell silent, but sure she didn't. This time she was completely pissed off. "Excuse me? I do what now? No, I believe you are sadly mistaken. You see, what I give him is a real future, one where he doesn't spend his days in a scientific lab becoming something he doesn't want to be! I don't know who the hell this Christian person is, but what happened to her is not going t happen to me whatever happened! Fate has complete and total control over his powers now! Fate doesn't need to be fixed and I don't need protection! He would never harm me in any way!" She said furisouly. She then turned a bit to him. "Right?" She asked quietly. She wasn't afraid of getting hurt by his powers, what she meant was hurting her emotionally.

He nodded his head. He still wasn't comfortable with doctors. The white coats, the bright lights, the probbing. It just reminded him so much of being back in the labs. "I'll have to get use to the hospitals. So I would just have to let you heal me until then," He paused, "But I don't plan on getting hurt anymore." It was nice to know that someone cared for him. That someone had his back. That someone would miss him if he had to leave. As she wiped away the tears before they fell he took a deep breath and smiled. "Well, I would feel really sorry for all those asses you would have to kick. So I believe it's in both our best interest that I stayed with you."
The leader of the agents stepped out in front of the rest of the group, staring at Kasumi. "He may not like to fight, but he built for it, built for war. It is what he does best, young lady. The same goes for you and I. We all have something we're great at. Me; I retrieve experiments. I hate it as much as 'Fate' hates fighting and killing, but it's necessary. The world isn't kind place. That's why were need 'Fate.'" He help his hand out toward Fate. His face was hidden behind a special helmet, but he was surprised that Fate didn't remember him at least by his voice. "Join us, your brothers, and create a new world or would you turn your back on the only family you have!?" Fate was still silent. Letting all the words Kasumi and the leader said soak in. He always thought of the other experiments as his family. They had nothing else except each other. He snapped out of his trances when she turned a bit to look at him. "No, I would never hurt you... I-I'm in love with you. I love you." Maybe it was too early in the relationship to say the 'L' word, but he didn't care. He did truly love her.
The leader was now furious after hearing this. "WHY DO YOU CLING TO THIS WEAPON GIRL! ARE YOU TRULY THAT SELFISH THAT YOU WOULD DEPRIVE THE WORLD OF ITS PEACE! YOU WOULD CURSE THE REST OF HUMANITY TO LIVE IN THIS BROKEN WORLD!?"
"What SAPHYRE wants is not peace. It's people living fear, to scared to live their lifes because of your cheap imitation of peace. This conversation is over. So I suggest you leave now or we'd be force to defend ourselves." He held his arm out and closed his hand for a moment, concentrating. When he opened it a ball of crimson electricity about the size of a basketball appeared.

"Yeah. Hospitals are nothing like labs though, trust me.. Labs..." Kasumi trailed off, she didn't know what to say, she had never been in a lab before. So she couldn't compare labs and hospitals. She's seen a scientist uniform from a book she read a long time ago, but it was a faint image now, the uniforms could've changed by now. Plus, back in her dimension, they weren't accurate about a lot of things in this world. The always made Earth seem like a terrible place, but she was loving Earth right now, despite of the whole banished thing. She wanted Fate to enjoy Earth too, without having to worry about going back to being an experiment. She turned her attention back to him as he began to speak again. "I'd rather you stay here, even if I wasn't.. No one deserves to be an experiment if they don't wanna be.." She said as she gave him a soft smile.
Kasumi stared back as one of the agents looked at her and she calmly listened o what the man said. "You make him sound as if you created him. He's just as human as everyone else in this city, not just something out of a test tube. If you don't like retrieving experiments, then why do you do it? Fate doesn't like fighting or killing, so he doesn't do it. He also doesn't like being an experiment, that's why he left. It would be necessary to make the "perfect soldier" or whatever the SAPHYRE project is for out of robots or something that is actually a test tube, not a person. Thanks, I know the world isn't a nice place, but do you think that creating an army will make it any better? No, that's just going to make things worse." Her stare turned to a cold glare which rolled as he tried to beckon Fate to come back. "As if.." She mumbled to herself a litte
"No, I would never hurt you... I-I'm in love with you. I love you."[/u]
Kasumi looked at Fate astonished and forgot the agents were there. She wrapped her arms tightly around him and repeated those words in her head over and over. "I..love you too." She said as she blushed slightly, not really even noticeable. She began to release him, but froze as the man began to yell. She clenched her teeth together tightly as she looked at them out of the corner of her eye. Selfish, huh? She let Fate speak and gather his electricity and she gathered fire in her hands. Throwing it at the men, it landed in front of them and went in a line, blocking them from going forward. "I say we "defend" ourselves now. Teach them what a "selfish" person and a mere weapon can do." She said as she made the fire circle around them so they couldn't escape. "Plus, you have a chance to get revenge on these guys if you want, Fate.." She told him a bit more calmly.

He notice that she trailed off, but smiled. She was only trying to help. So much was going on in his head now. He had no choice, but to kill these agents. They were persistent and wouldn't leave until the job was done. A job that Fate had no intentions of letting them complete. "I appreciate that, but I rather you stay here with me. I don't think my life would be complete now if you wasn't here."
As she wrapped her arms around him, Fate returned the embrace. He would had like to stay like this forever, but he knew that wasn't possible. "Revenge... Yeah, we can start here by taking it out on these guys." As the fire circle around them, leaving no escape, Fate would used ths moment to his advantage. He held out his other hand around the ball of electricity. The ball began to get bigger until it was the size of a beach volleyball. The agents started to fire their guns, but it was much too late. Fate had already tossed the electricity, landing somewhere in the middle of the ground. A massiive explosion of crimson electricity causing the near by city lights to flicker for a moment. He was sure that was more than enough to take care of a few agents... "Maybe he'll find that 'peace' he was crying about in the afterlife... I highly doubt it though."

Kasumi smiled softly at him. "Yeah, I'd rather be here too.. I don't want you to be incomplete, so I'll stay. But if something did happen to me, like, I died or something and you're still here, I'd rather you move on and be happy, but I also wouldn't want you to forget that I'll be watching you from wherever I go in the afterlife. Also, that I like you, very much so, more than you could believe." She said as her smile grew larger and she grabbed his hand, rubbing the top of it with her thumbs. "I...I want you to do something for me, okay? I want you to try not to always do things on your own.. There are things people can handle on their own and some not, but not everyone has someone they can turn to for help. If your confused, find me and we can figure i out together. If your lost, just know that I'll find you, okay? I really just want you to know I'm here for you, okay? Even if it's you against the world, I'll be standing right there.." She told him as she looked him in the eyes with a serious look.
Kasumi stood there as he agreed with revenge and watched silently as lightening gathered in his hand. She lifted her hands as well as they began to shoot and shielded them with the same power she used earlier to heal Fate. She lowered it as he threw it at the agents and watched the massive explosion afterward. "Well, that takes care of that.. I kinda hope so, then he won't annoy anyone else about it.. I feel sorry for the ones who share the same dimension with him..." She clenched her fists for a second, then jumped with great force, probably would've made him fall and wrapped her arms back around Fate as she buried her head in his neck. "I'm sorry, that must've been so painful for you.. Such painful memories that I'll probably never understand.. I don't think That's something I'd be able to help you on, there are scars on your heart that I can't fix and I'm sorry for that, I can't take that pain away.." She said as her voice grew quieter with each word and her eyes began to get hot with tears that she was trying to hold back.

He had grown use to having to do anything himself. He had his mind set so that he wouldn't rely on anyone, but himself. He always thought that being alone was the only way. That it had to be this way. It seemed like since day one he was on his own. His biological parents had got rid of him. The other experiments he would grow close to would die or he would be forced to kill in order to stay alive. But that seemed so long ago now that Kasumi was here. Someone to help him cling to his sanity. And just maybe he could open up to other people and not be afraid. "I don't. Not anymore. I have you. And am all yours."
He was silent for a moment as it would seemed this fight was at its end. He would have thought SAPHYRE would have sent someone stronger instead of agents. Maybe they expected Fate to just come running back. When she jumped at him it caught Fate by surprised. He fell to the ground and felt her arms wrap around him. As she buried her head in his neck he wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes, listening to her. He knew it was wrong for him to defend himself against these agents. But was it wrong that he didn't feel any remorse in taking their lives. In fact, it made him feel better. "The past is the past. All that matters now is our future... But some people want to prevent that."
Suddenly the weather had changed. It had started raining, but Fate didn't care. He was lost in the moment. "I told them that they were going to need more than agents to bring you in if you resist. Such a pity. These agents; Sting, Auel, Kira, Athrun, Yzak, Dearka, and Canards. I've grown close to them over my years. We brought in many astary experiments like yourself; 30-30/150." The leader slowly stood to his feet his armor completely damaged. He didn't really pay no mind to Kasumi and Fate. He just stared at the dead bodies of his fallen comrads. "I, alone, was suppose to come, but they opted to come." He removed what was left his helmet and let the rain hit his face as he stared up at the sky. "The heavens are crying... No one can control destiny 'Fate.' It was determined before we were born that it would come to this. I wanted to advoid it. After all, big brothers tries to protect their younger brothers. Even if they're wrong. They set them on the right track." He ripped his left shirt sleeve off and pointed to the numbers on his forearm; RX-78. He stared at Fate, his eyes completely black. "You remember me now? We use to watch each others back at the labs. ZGMF-X20A and I are the closes you have to family. I'm not going back empty handed."
Fate sighed, but should have expected this. Honestly, he had thought they had killed RX-78 off, but apparently he was wrong. He stood up and gently pulled Kasumi to her feet. "It really has come from to this. You don't have to be what they want you to be..."
"I know. But this is what I want to be, what I need to be!" RX-78's body started to undergo a transformation. His height and body muscle mass started to change greatly. To the point he stood at a towering seven foot. He was huge. His arms nearly three times as big as Fate. You would think he would be much slower in this form, but he wasn't. He was slightly faster. This was his special ability. His strength was unmatched and he would continue to get stronger as the fight went on. He looked at the both of them with a huge grin upon his face. "HAHAHA! It's been so long since I had to use this form! NOW! YOU MUST FEEL MY SORROW! I'LL END HER LIFE SO YOU'LL HAVE NOTHING TO CLING TO!!"

"I don't. Not anymore. I have you. And am all yours."[/u]
Kasumi looked up at him and smiled. "As I am yours. You are all I need in life." She told him as she kissed him on the cheek. Looking down, she grabbed his hand and played around with his fingers. After a little while, she held his fingers up to her face and planted another kiss on them, blushing slightly this time. Normally it's the guy that kisses the girls hand, but whatever.. His hands are soft too, he should be a hand model! She laughed silently at the thought of that. I can't see him being a model, hand or not. Although, he certainly has the looks. I'm blessed to be taken by such a handsome, nice man.. I really don't deserve him, not in the least, but I want to be selfish now and I want him to be mine. I've already given him my hearty and everything, I just hope he accepts.
When they landed on the ground, Kasumi was thankful she was wearing jeans, otherwise she probably would've scraped them and even though she can handle it, she just doesn't like it. "Sorry, didn't mean to knock you down..." She sat silently as he began to speak, then slightly nodded. "Yeah, but even so, we're still gonna be together, right? No matter what they think.. Looks like it really just might be us against the world." She said with a slight chuckle. "But even the past can be painful, even in the present.." My past still grips tightly on my heart, but Fate loosens that and I don't think I can do the same.. He seems to be able to handle that better than I probably could though. Hm.. She looked up as it began to rain, but didn't let go.
"I told them that they were going to need more than agents to bring you in if you resist. Such a pity. These agents; Sting, Auel, Kira, Athrun, Yzak, Dearka, and Canards. I've grown close to them over my years. We brought in many astray experiments like yourself; 30-30/150."[/u]
Kasumi blinked and whipped her head around only to see the leader standing up slowly. He's still alive? How? I mean, he threw electricity at them! Nobody would survive that! She looked down like the leader was and viewed the bodies with him. "It has to be him that survives?" She mumbled quietly to herself. She watched as he lifted his helmet and looked up, saying no one controls destiny. "Maybe our destiny is chosen before we're born but that doesn't mean we can't change it. You're still able to change yours, too. It's never too late.." She said soothingly. Kind of to reassure him he could change if he wanted to, he didn't have to be this way, like Fate didn't want to be. The leader then tore off his left sleeve, revealing a number. RX-78? Do they all have numbers?! I would get so confused.. She tensed a bit as she saw his eyes were now black. "Despite what you just said, I think we'll give you a choice, either leave now and tell the people of SAPHYRE Fate is here to stay, OR, you can die where you stand."
Kasumi glanced at Fate as he sighed, but didn't trust looking away from the agent so quickly looked back over. She nodded though when he said that he didn't have to be what they wanted him to be, but rolled her eyes at the agents reply. He eyes widened a bit though as he began to transform. He was huge now! She felt small compared to him now, but she wasn't afraid of him. When he grinned at them, it made her sick. She was really beginning to despise the man, more than she had a few minutes ago.
"HAHAHA! It's been so long since I had to use this form! NOW! YOU MUST FEEL MY SORROW! I'LL END HER LIFE SO YOU'LL HAVE NOTHING TO CLING TO!!"[/u]
Kasumi laughed a as loudly as he did after he finished his sentences, then gave him a cold stare. "I'd like to see you try." She clenched her hands and they caught fire again, but it disappeared. Stupid! Why would I use my fire in rain? Plus, I've used it a bit now, I don't want to overdo it anytime soon, so I'll lay off. I don't want him thinking he's the only one that can transform too.... I'll use my form later, I don't think it'll work well on this guy.

As she kissed him and played with his fingers Fate smiled. "It's cool. Remember, you said iit was cute when I fall," He said, "Let's just hope that I'll never be near a ledge when this occur again." He tried not to think about what just happened. The killing of eight agents or so he thought.
This was what RX-78 needed to be? Fate could understand. RX-78 had grown to love this life he lived just as Fate had loved Kasumi. He couldn't change that so he knew it was pointless. His resolve must have been as strong as Fate. "Okay... No sense in chit chatting anymore. I see that you've got bigger in this form." The rain wasn't enough to stop Fate from conjuring up his electricity. Large crimson bolts of electricity danced around both of his arms. They would have to end this quick before RX-78 got too powerful. "He's extremely strong Kasumi. So be careful."
RX-78 still had that smirk upon his face. Fate had never once came close to beating him in this form and this time would be no different, even with his girlfriend here to help. A lot would wonder why they would choose Fate as the best candiate to lead the SAPHYRE project. RX-78 was sure Fate didn't know why either. Fate was a vessel. With the right tools they could make him into the weapon they wanted. Fate's body was the only one that could host all the other experiments powers. "I'll try not to damage that body of yours." He stepped for, the entire rooftop trembling beneath his feet. Within a blink of an eye he had appeared in front of Fate, reaching out to grab him with his huge hand that was bigger than the boy's entire body. To normal person it seemed he disappear and re appeared in front of Fate, but he was just merely that fast.
