"So you have my scent?" He asked, "Don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Since I love you i'll go with good." He looked up at the sky also then back at RX-78. He always found a way to ruin things. RX-78 hadn't change one bit. Fate remembered a time when he wanted to be just like him. He looked up to him as a role model. Funny how things changed now. "Anything would be better without him here."

"Losing our lives? I highly doubt that. You're control over the fire element is most impressive girl. You want to be with 30/30-150 forever? Well, i'm sure SAPHYRE could arrange that. I'm pretty sure 30/30-150 wouldn't mind having one more 'personality' to carry around."

As she clawed harder a grin came across his face. He knew he was getting to her, but it felt great to feel pain again. He wasn't a glutton for pain. It was just he had forgotton how it felt since most people couldn't damage them at all. It was a pity that he would have to kill her. He would have loved to have her as a play toy. When she hit the door he crossed his arms and waited.

Fate had been watching the whole time. When Kasumi was clawing at RX-78's eyes in actually sparked an idea. He felt extremely stupid for not coming up with the idea to begin with. It would have saved a lot of trouble. Hearing her yelp, he stood to his feet staggering for a moment. His chest still felt heavy and he could feel the blood just trying to come up. He slowly carried himself over to RX-78 who wasn't paying no attention to the boy. RX-78 was too busy having fun with Kasumi. He thought that Fate couldn't do much since he didn't have enough electricity to do any real damage to him. "You should turn into that wolf. That way I can use your fur. I need a knew coat..." RX-78 turned around, hearing Fate steps. He looked at the boy and laughed. "C'mon. Stop trying to be the hero." He wrapped his huge hand around Fate's neck and lifted him in the air. Bolts of electricity formed around Fate's right hand, but RX-78 did nothing. "Alright. Free shot. Better make this one count 30/3---" RX-78 was cut short when Fate shoved his right hand into the beast's mouth. "My name's Fate Lingod and you talk too much..." Fate made sure that he hand was as far back in his throat as he could go before he released the electricity inside the beast's body. RX-78 fell backwards and Fate fell on top of him. Fate pulled his arm from RX-78 mouth and fell to the ground, at the side of RX-78. RX-78 started to cough up blood. He started to gasp for air. "... It seems my electricity reached your lungs... Sucks to be you." Fate laid there watching his "brother" gasp for air. It would just be a matter of seconds before RX-78 was dead.

"... I'm sor---ry."

"Well of course I have your scent. Since I seem to be assigned the position as "guard dog", I would sort of have to know your scent, otherwise I'd be a complete and utter fail." She laughed a bit and listened to what he said next. "I think it would be a good thing, since I can find you a thousand times faster than a normal person. Of course, if you were leaving purposely and didn't wish to tell me, that would be considered a bad thing. Glad to hear you love me though, even though it's the second time I've heard it. It'd be a shame if I had to polish that memory over and over again. Now I have two memories I can polish." She said as she nodded by his next comment. "Indeed, and I just met him. If you ask me, that's pretty sad.."

Kasumi sat there and listened. She would've tried to come up with something to say back, but she couldn't tell if he was being sarcastic or not about the fire thing, which he probably was being sarcastic. She flinched a bit though as he asked if she would like to stay with Fate forever and that SAPHYRE could arrange that. Stay with Fate forever? Well, of course I want to, but does he? I'm probably getting ahead of myself here. After all, we did just recently get together. Things can change in the blink of an eyes and h e could quickly leave me for someone else much prettier and nicer, maybe even has control of her powers.. If she has any, that, is. She then began to think deeper about these things and get more depressed, but shook it off. No time to get depressed!

A crate nearby caught fire as he said she should transform back so he could have a new fur coat. Kasumi hated anything that involved killing wolves and other animals, even though she did it herself, but she did that so she could survive, not for her own selfish reasons. Normally of course, she would've done something about this, but Fate was up and walking. Her attention was fully on Fate, she didn't even hear what RX-78 said next and really didn't care. Why isn't he sitting? I thought I told him to sit! He got kneed in the stomach by this douche bag, he needs to sit! When she saw that Fate shoved his hand in RX-78's mouth, she made a disgusted face. "Um..ew?" She said quietly as he introduced himself again and said he talked to much, which she had to agree with. Electricity then went from Fate's hand into RX-78, which soon began to cough blood like he had and was desperate for air.

Kasumi stretched a bit, but stopped because it hurt her back. Ow.. Why can't this be a flesh wound?! After making an exasperated sigh, she walked over to Fate and RX-78, looking down to where he laid. "It's a little late for sorry, now isn't it? You already beat the shit out of him and I really doubt you mean that "sorry" anyway.. If you were truly sorry, you wouldn't have done it to begin with.."

"Well "guard dog" doesn't fit you at all. I preffered guardian angel," He smiled, "Yeah, that sounds way cooler." She could find him a thousand times faster than a normal human. That was sweet! But she wouldn't have to worry about that. Wherever she was he wouldn't be too far behind. He was going to give her the space she need it. He didn't want to suffocate her, but when she needed a friend he would gladly cross an ocean just to be in her company. He chuckled lightly at her last comment. "Yeah, I think he might be this angry from all the steriods. That's the only excuse I could come up for him."

Ya best wash yo' hand. No tellin' what he been eatin'! Yeah, that was pretty nasty. Luckily, he had such a bit mouth that my hand fit. Well, it over now. Unless he has like iron lungs. Then we're pretty much screwed. Like that time we got lost in China. Haha... Don't make us laugh. It hurts my chest.

As Kasumi walked over Fate lifted his head and smiled a little. He would have gave her the thumbs up, but he didn't want to make her unhappy again. He let his eyes fall back on RX-78. Fate was actually sad. RX-78 was his brother. They had been through a lot together. He was sad yet he couldn't bring himself to tears. He was sorry? Yeah, Fate was sorry that it had came to this. RX-78 was still gasping for air. His body slowly turned back its original state. He reached his hand out as if he was trying to grab Fate, but he was barely out of his range. A smile then formed staind with his own blood as he worked up enough strength to say his final words.

"I... am... sorry Ka-su-mi. What... I did... was.... out of.... love.... for... my younger brother. I am... no longer an Retriever for SAPHYRE. I haven't... been... for years. After that incident... I escaped and lived a somewhat normal life... They came... for me... That's how I found out... you were stilll... Alive. It took... Years... but I finally... tracked you down... All this was... A test... I had to make su--re... you were strong... strong enough to... defeat... the enemy... even if it... was your older... brother... You... Don't have to... Believe it... But I sp--eak... the truth. Kasumi... I'm apolo--gize for my.... rude remarks... and the pain... I caused... you... both... I..."

Well, that's a plot twist. I don't think he's lying though... Wh-what... That idiot! Why the hell he just tell us!

Fate turned his body to look at RX-78 despite the pain he was feeling. "This was all a test!? You hurt me! You hurt the girl I love! And now you're dying because of me! Why!? ... Why?" Fate dragged himself closer to RX-78. "Why not stay and fight with me, with us? I... could really used you by myself."

"You would... depend on me... And what... would happen when... I died... This body of mines has been... withering away... Thanks to my... godly ability... We weren't even sure... If I'd... make it another.... week... I'm... grateful I got... to see... you again... and meet... your girlfriend... You've become... strong..."

"... Kasumi! She could heal you!"

"You're so... stubborn... I said... My body is withering... So it doesn't... matter. Besides... I don't believe... She be able... to heal something as... life threatening... as this... My lung feel like... they're on... fire. Before I go... Could you give me... a name?"

Kasumi sat there and listened to what he said and smiled slightly. "Thanks, but it's a shame this "angel" can't fly. I can sure as hell run though, does that make up for my inability to fly?" She asked as her smile got a little bigger. "Well, I wouldn't want to end up being uncool for you, so I guess I'll just have to start taking flying lessons, now won't I?" She looked down a bit, the smile still painted on her lips. Of course she laughed a bit at his next comment, but couldn't think of anything to say. After all, he was lying there right now and dying. She'd feel heartless if she said anything else rude.

She looked at Fate as he looked up at her and smiled, so she returned it. Kasumi then looked down for a second, then lifted her hand as she gave him a thumb's up with a smirk on her face. Her attention went back to RX-78 as he went back to himself as he reached up for Fate with a smile growing on his lips. Why is he smiling, he's about to die for goodness sake! Not one person I saw die had a smile plastered on their face.. When her name was mentioned, she just sat there and listened. She grabbed her arm and rubbed it a bit as she looked down, now beginning to feel guilty as he continued to speak. When he finished, she slightly and quietly sighed as she let go of her arm, walking closer to them. Biting her lip a bit, she reached for RX-78's hand. "Understood. If I were you, I'd probably done the same thing. Hell, I don't have to be you and I'd do the same. You don't need to apologize though, I was rude as well. I didn't hardly get hurt, Fate got the most of it. I'll just have a bruise, nothing more. You shouldn't have gone to such extremes though, you could've told us and we could've just tried to defeat you... You didn't have to go to death.."

"This was all a test!? You hurt me! You hurt the girl I love! And now you're dying because of me! Why!? ... Why? Why not stay and fight with me, with us? I... could really used you by myself."[/u]

Kasumi looked at Fate as he said this and watched as he moved closer to RX-78. She then looked down, feeling like crying. Fate has already lost this "Christian" person and now he's losing another person close to him.. How must he feels, I don't know.. Hm.. The sky, it began raining before the true fight. Perhaps it knew of what was yet to come and is weeping in result of it.. Okay, maybe not, but she could have an imagination too. She looked back at them as RX-78 began to speaking again.

So he was to die within a week? It must have been scary, knowing that your life is now within a short limit, ending soon. Dying by natural causes is much better than dying this way though.. Fate then said she could heal him and it felt like a light bulb went off, but was soon destroyed when RX-78 said that the wound was probably too serious for her to heal. "It's still worth a try though. Wouldn't you rather live longer, even if it is just for a short time? I don't know about you, but I'd like to get to know you better, this also might give me a chance to understand Fate and how things went off back in the government..." She told him as the orange oval went around him and she began to try and heal him. "A name? Well, I highly doubt I can give you the name you need, so I'll leave that to Fate.."

"Nope. Once you get your wings the flying part comes naturally. So no need for the lessons," He responded, "But running is cool also. You don't get air sick." Now that RX-78 was dying it didn't feel right joking around about this anymore. Yet apart of Fate wanted to kick RX-78 while he was down... Well, this was before he knew RX-78's full story.

As she gave him the thumbs up, Fate chuckled lightly. He tried to reframe from laughing to hard. It felt like his whole chest was collapsing. This day was turning out to be one to remember. Now he could blog about being almost beaten to death by his own brother... Literally. But now he was sad. More than sad actually. The tears finally decided to make their appearance, running down his cheeks.

RX-78 smiled at Kasumi as she spoke and took his hand. "No...if I would have said that then... Fate would... have... tried... to get outta fighting... or not take it ser--ious. I had... to make it... seem... like... I was the, the... enemy... And stop crying... you're runing... my moment."

"... Yeah, you haven't changed one bit." As Kasumi tried to heal RX-78 Fate was a little relived. Anything to keep his brother alive. A name? Fate stared at RX-78. Hell, he wasn't good with coming up with name's. He thought about it for a moment and smiled. He had the perfect name for him. "Ryota... It's means strong..." He said, "Stout and strong."

"Ryota Lingod... I like it... RX-78, I mean, Ryota Lingod raised an eyebrow as the orange oval appeared around him. He hope that this would work. He would love to spend more time with the two of them, except this time not fighting. A movie or something would be nice. The pain in his chest was slowly dying out and he breathing was returning back to normal. Did this mean it was actually working? "So how long you have to do this "healing" thing before you can heal pretty boy over there?"

"Awesome, glad to know I don't need to take lessons. Sounds boring too." She shrugged at what he said next. "True, but you get tired much faster. Good thing running is one of my favorite thing." Kasumi said as she ran a hand through her hair and smiled slightly. Hm, strange. Frst I hate the guy, and now I feel bad for him. I even feel guilty. Heh, well, I guess it's a good thing I never became a warrior back at home. I'd probably go and end up healing the injured afterwards. Maybe...

Kasumi just smiled as Fate chuckled a bit, but the smile faded as she saw the tears running out from his eyes now. It was difficult to tell since the rain, but she knew he was crying. She bit her tongue until she tasted blood to keep herself from howling, which was a pretty strong urge inside of her. She always got the urge to howl when sad. Well, she is a wolf. Somewhat. When RX-78 smiled, she returned it slightly, since her tongue was still between her teeth. She listened as he spoke and laughed a bit at the end. They really must be close.. Well, of course they are, what kind of stupid remark was that? I wonder if the other dude is still alive.. Will he do the same? Do they all have special abilities like him? We're gonna be screwed if they do.

Kasumi laughed again, but this time at Fate's comment. "It must've been fun to have Fate as a sibling. Despite the whole being an experiment thing, did you two have fun back then?" She was curious, but also kind of envious. It had to be fun to have a sibling look up to you and for you to protect. The only people she had protected was her father and herself. Well, she protected Fate now too, but she meant in the past. Sure she saved the other captivated people, but it was really just to gain her father back. She jumped a bit as Fate began to speak. I was so off. I should pay more attention... "Stout and strong eh? Certainly fits him well if you ask me. Especially when you're in your true form." She said as she stretched a bit.

"Ryota Lingod... I like it..."[/u]

"You better like it!" Kasumi said as she laughed a bit. "It was given to you by the one and only Fate Lingod and such a wonderful fitting name it is, so be proud." She was just kidding, really, but she was glad he liked it and wasn't really sure what would happen if he didn't like it. Would she get angry? Maybe, hard to tell sometimes. She began to concentrate on healing him again when Ryota began to speak again. "Well, probably not long considering that your breathing is back to normal as well as your way of speaking." She laughed a bit as he called Fate a pretty boy. She could think of thousands of things to say to that. "I must agree with you on that one, he certainly is a pretty boy, but he's my pretty boy. No worries though, I'll share him with you, maybe.." She told him with a smirk.

(Damn, i'm too lazy. This thread will have any happy ending, but he dies later on in the week. Yeah, that sounds good.)

He smiled softly. He just loved in when she ran her hand through her hair. Of course he would never tell her that. Didn't want to seem like a freak or anything. "Then chasing after you will become one of my favorite things."

Fate dried the tears from his eyes, knowing that the rain did nothing to hide them. He was sure that RX-78, no, Ryota was going to make fun of him as soon as he could. That was what big brothers did. It was funny now though. Now that Fate had the time to actually look at Ryota he was slightly taller than him. He laughed slightly, holding his chest. "Aww, that's not fair. I had no choice than to be the pretty boy. I mean you were the tough guy and he, he was the slacker."

"Yeah... It's pretty impressive how he could always rhyme." Ryota looked at Kasumi and chuckled. "Don't say that Kasumi. I sure he rather have the company of a beautiful female than the company of Ryota Lingod. I just pick on him until he cries."

"I didn't cry that much! Most of those times my eyes were sweating..." He laid flat on the ground, closing his eyes as the rain continued to hit him. Back then, he did cry a lot. He wouldn't have made it through without Ryota and him. He wondered how many actual first generation experiments actually were still out there. Fate thought them all to be dead, but Ryota was here and said that there was more. "So who else is out there?"

Ryota knew the excate answer Fate wanted. He wanted to know if their brother was still alive. He was, but he was sure Fate didn't want to know what he was doing. "A few first gens. Some of them are Retrivers. I'm sure they'll be coming after you. The others are in hiding, trying to advoid going back like you and I. ZGMF-X20A, he's a Retriver. One of, if not, the best. He about caught me... I barely escaped."[/blockquote]

"Who said you'll be the one doing the chasing?" Kasumi asked him with a smirk. She was being rather cold from the rain, but wasn't going to say anything. She started to hyperventilate a bit, but it ended up in a sneeze. It was kind of small and high pitched, making herself start blushing. Great, that sounded weird..

The oval that was healing Ryota faded as he was healed now. "How do you feel now? Better, worse? You should be healed, so I hope better.." Kasumi said as she looked over at Fate, who was drying his eyes. He then laughed and held his chest. Giving him a sympathetic look, she walked over and the oval appeared around him again, beginning to heal him. She just smiled as they talked, since she really didn't know what they were technically saying. When Ryota looked at her, she just looked back. He said that he would rather have a pretty girl as comany than him and a smirk grew on her face as the oval disappeared. "Alright then.." She walkd behind Fate adn wrapped her arms around him, placing her head on his shoulder, pulling him to her. "He's all mine then, no sharing." She laughed a bit.

Kasumi laughed as Fat e said his eyes were sweating. "Aww.. So it's true my Fate is a sensitive guy.." Kasumi said, blushing a deep red while nuzzling his neck a bit. He asked who else was out there and she just thought he meant other agents, until Ryota said "he", meaning a specific guy. "Who's "he"? Should I be concerned with this guy as well? Well, be concerned about him taking my Fate?" She asked, looking concerned back and forth between Fate and Ryota. "Do I need to kick his ass? Teach a lesson not to touch im?"

(I am not lazy... Just don't like doing work. That character turned into Speedy, but I am not feeling Speedy anymore so I am going to create that Renji one when I feel like doing work. V.V)

"Oh... So you'll chase after me," He smiled, "But you won't have to do much chasing if I run into your arms." He realized that she must have been cold. He would have wrapped his arms around her, but he was also wet so he thought that would just make her more cold. As the oval disappeared oval smiled. "Much better. Now you can go cater to your pretty boy. You know he still pees in the bed. He had to wear a raincoat to sleep..."

Fate couldn't help, but laugh at Ryota's comments. It still hurt. Lucky, he would be healed soon. "I don't or did I ever pee in the bed you big marshmellow. You're suppose to be making me look cool in front of her. Say something like I slayed a dragon and saved a whole kindom or something." Fate was healed now and feeling like a brand new boy. He fell back into Kasumi's embrace, loving every minute of it. "I'm all her's now. Sorry bro. Like you said, I need to grow up, right?"

Ryota laughed slightly at the both of them. He would have fond memories to take with him to the afterlife when he died. It was best not to think about that now. "He's very sensitive. Go ahead and poke him. Betcha he says ouch." He shrugged his shoulders when she asked about "him." X20A had fallen so far. Ryota didn't even recognize him. Not his appearance. That was pretty much the same, but him as a person. "We consider all the Experiments are brothers and sisters, but out of them all Fate and ZGMF-X20A were the closes. Like actual brothers. I was the first then ZGMF-X20A then soon after Fate. We became close because we all we had. All the other Experiments usually died after a few rounds of testings... He isn't the same though. If you aren't ready to kill him I pray you never run into him. He has a strong hatred for you Fate."

"That is very true. Shall we get a meadow and do it in slow-mo like they do on TV after a couple has not seen each other in a long time, or is that unnecessary?" Kasumi asked. She only knew that because she saw it a few times on the TV in an electronic store window. "Even if you didn't run into my arms, I could catch up to you with seconds.. Not saying you're slow, just saying I'm faster." She was gloating a bit, but it was the truth. She had to admit though, she would probably be slow compared to Fate if she was normal, unable to be a wolf. She looked bac at Ryota as he began to speak. "And cater to him I will,. Just sit and watch." She told him with a slight laugh. "A raincoat huh? That kind of makes me worry, but I'm sure he just dropped a glass of water."

Kasumi laughed a bit more at Fate's comment. "A dragon slayed a dragon and saved a kingdom, huh? Suppose I truly did find my knight in shinning armor. Aren't I supposed to be carried away on your horse, oh mighty knight?" She asked as she looked at him. Her smile only grew larger as he said she was her's. "Yup, you're my prisoner now. shall I go fetch the keys or are you going to be good and stay so I don't need to hunt you down?" She asked, but looked down at Ryota, still clutching Fate. "That reminds me Ryota, do you think you can tell me where Fate's line of fan girls are hiding? I need to set them straight on some things."

Kasumi blinked and thought for a second as he told her to poke him. So, she lifted her finger and poked him in the shoulder. "Even so, he's my sensitive guy. Nothing's better than having a teddy bear to hug and cuddle with. I'll just try not to make his stuffing come out." She laughed slightly at the end, but went serious when he started to explain what the other dude was. "So you three were lucky and strong enough to survive? Was the testing that bad?" She asked, mostly concerned about Fate on that one, but also felt sorry for Ryota. "So, in other words, since he hates my Fate I do need to kick some major ass? Why does he hate him anyway? Because he ran away? That's a dumb ass reason.."

"That's alright with me. I already move in slow motion," He smiled, "But can we skip the part about not seeing each other for a long time?" Wait a minute! She said she never watched television yet what she said says otherwise. Maybe she read it in a book? Yeah, she said she read books before. Whatever. That wasn't important. "So now i'm too slow for you?" Fate teased, "... Yet I was fast enough to steal your heart."

Ryota laughed a bit. "Yeah, if water was yellow and warm than sure. He dropped water." He missed picking at Fate. He wondered how long it would be before Fate gave him a shock.

"Unfortunately, my horse quit on me so now I have to work both jobs." Fate stared at Ryota for a moment. He seemed smaller than he used to be. He must had lost some weight. He looked more slim than Fate when not in his true form. This lead him back to what Ryota said earlier. He was withering away. Was that even possible? He snapped back to reality when Kasumi spoke again. "Fate's gonna be a good boy. I'm going to stay with you and enjoy it."

"Fangirls... Let's see. Did you check his closet? Also under his bed?"

Fate figured he just play along. It seemed like fun. "Don't tell her about the ones hiding under the doormat!" He said jokingly, "They made me these neat socks that keep me warm doing the winter." When she poked him he decided to play along again. Making an "ouch" sound and rubbing the spot she poked, he looked up at her with a sad face. But when Ryota started to talk about ZGMF-X20A that face changed to a blank expression. Fate and ZMGF-X20A was so close. Funny how things changed so quickly. Fate also wanted to know the answer to why ZMGF-X20A would hate him.

"I guess it's because Fate left the family. Then again, he would hate me also. I'm sorry that I don't know the answer..."

"So you move in slow motion? You sure were quick to move away from Ryota when we were fighting. Even though you still got hit...." Kasumi told him as she bit her lip. She then nodded at his next comment. "Of course! I'd die if I couldn't see you!" She said as she put the back of her hand on her forehead and leaned back a bit, making it seem dramatic. She even closed her eyes, but still had a smile on her face. She went back to normal position when he spoke again. "Too slow? Never, dear, you just simply can't go my pace." she told him as she put her fingers through his. "Now, who said you ever stole my heart? It was all yours for the taking."

"Ew!" Kasumi said as she made a disgusted face, but laughed in the process. "Well, I certainly hope that habit has broke.." She was teasing, she would've known a long time ago if he wet the bed.

"Ah, I see. Hm, not a very kind horse. Well, I won't make you work hard. At least, try not to." She told him as she shrugged a bit. She followed his eyes to Ryota. I wonder if he's worried about him.. Well, of course he is, I mean he is his brother. Why wouldn't he be..? I mean, he is dying. Or, "Withering". I wonder how someone withers unless their like, a flower.. Which I don't think would happen. Then again, I am probably wrong. Lots of different people in this world. Hell, demons exist and we're supposed to be nothing but a myth. Something of a kids imagination, haunting nightmares, blah blah blah.. She then patted his head as he said he'd be good. "Yay! As a treat, I'll get you some skittles."

"The closet, huh? I have not looked yet, that shall be the first place next time. But, if he wets the bed, don't you think they would've left from hiding under his bed?" Kasumi asked with a smirk. She turned her head to Fate, then laughed. "He doesn't need to.." She then planted a kiss on his cheek. "Because you just told me yourself. " She said with a laugh.
