Takeshi walked through the dry lands, searching for a demon he had sensed for awhile now. It was faint at the hospital when he was getting treatment for the disease he had realized he had, but got that fixed, so he was more alive than ever and in the mood for a hunt. Of course, Kisa wasn't happy about it since he just got released recently, but he had been absent for too long and it was time to bounce back. Besides, he was bound to get sick again if he lazed around. Of course, he'd spend more time with her as well. Nothing would change for him, but Kisa seemed more worried and protective over him since she saw him shoot himself. He scratched the side of his head. I only shot myself to become normal again.. If I hadn't I'd probably still be a demon with more than half the town dead by now.
Takeshi raised his hand over his eyes to block out the sun. I should've came out at a cooler time.. Damn it's hot! where the hell does this demon live anyway? I know it's around here, I can smell it, but I can't sense it near. Smells, like a female, great... Why do I keep meeting female demons? I mean c'mon! Where are the male demons! I want a good fight for once! Female demons mostly just run and scream.. At least, ninety-five percent of them I met do. They're becoming so soft now. Ugh! Worthless, useless creatures! He sighed angrily as he clenched his fists. Should've brought some water.. I'm going to die of heatstroke before I even get near the demon..
Finally, after like ten more minutes of walking through the desert lands, Takeshi reached a cave. He just looked at it. Seems like a place a demon would stay.. Scent certainly is strong around here too. So is the smell of, animal blood? What kind of demon is this? Vampire or something? Know what, I don't really think I want to know.. shaking his head, he walked inside and looked around. "Completely empty, great.." He mumbled to himself. Scent isn't too old though, so it probably left recently. It'll come back sooner or later. Might as well stay here out of the sun. Too hot out there. Sighing, he sat down on a rock and leaned back on the wall, waiting for the demon to return.

What's the point of this again? I just want to see where she lived. Get a feel of it. It's a cave! Not much to feel. Rocks, cold ground, bugs. That's all there is too it. Well, you could have always stayed home... haha. Ya so funny. Well, let's make this quick.
Fate Lingod had been walking for about thirty minutes now. He was searching for his fiancee's old home for some reason. Apparently, he wasn't having any luck and to make matters worst the sun was beaming down on him. "Well, this is nice..." He said saracasticly, "It's so cool out here." As fortunate would have it he finally caught a break. He could see a cave in the distance, but not just a cave. Someone had entered the cave. The distance was too far for him to tell who it was. His first assumption was that it must have been Kasumi, but he tossed that assumption aside quickly. He could tell by the way the figure walked and by its body structure it wasn't her.
Finally, Fate entered the cave minutes after the other figure did. I have a bad feelin' 'bout this. So did Fate, but for some reason his legs still carried him forward. As he walked deeper in the cave he had a feeling that this was also Kasumi lair. It was like he could sense it. He came to a jolting stop when he heard the figures voice. He knew the figure was talking to himself, but Fate decided to speak up. "Of course it's empty. You're not going to find anything here except animals," Fate said, "It's really not safe for people to be out here alone." Fate was a different story. He had powers and he never really was alone thanks to his personalities. He waited for the guy to respond.

Takeshi sat there and looked up at the top of the cave. It seemed faintly, burnt. Either this demon had controlled fire or it burned a lot of people. He figured the second one. He always made demons out to be the worst of creatures. He sniffed slightly. Don't smell any humans scents, faint or not.. He sniffed a bit more. That does smell, like.. Zell's scent..? Why would Zell be here? Did she fight or meet the demon before..? It doesn't seem at all recent, it smells quite old actually.. So maybe I have nothing to worry about. I know good and well Zell can take care of herself. I know that good and well. He continued to sniff, finding different scents from people he didn't even know or even smelled before. He then played "Guess the animal scent" to keep himself entertained. Only, he began to sense a human coming near. What is a human coming around here for? Hiking or something? He couldn't help but become suspicious, so he pulled out DDS(demons dangerous sorrow)) and placed it on the side of him that wasn't facing the entrance so the human couldn't see it. Right in time too, for he had just arrived.
"Of course it's empty. You're not going to find anything here except animals," "It's really not safe for people to be out here alone."[/u]
Takeshi just looked at him. "You're telling me it's not safe to come alone, even though you came alone yourself?" He asked sourly. "What is a mere human such as yourself doing out here anyway? Don't you have something else to be doing besides roaming around desert lands? Like, school, or something?" He asked him, putting his elbows on his knees.

Mere human... So apparently this guy wasn't a normal human or he just thought he was better than everyone else. Fate prayed it was the latter. What's his problem!? Ay, hit him with some lightnin' and show him whose's boss. Fate decided not to listen to the annoying voice in his head. This guy gave Fate no reason to attack him. Fate smiled slightly at the guy. He should have known he was going to reverse the question on him. "I live here and you're trespassing on my property," Fate shrugged, "So if you would state your business here or just simply leave. Your choice."
Fate lowered his head slightly so that his eyes wouldn't be seen. They had changed from purple to crimson meaning that his powers were now active. Fate had a feeling he came here looking for Kasumi. The question was if this guy intentions were good... He looked up at him for a moment, not caring if he saw his crimson eyes now. He could sense it the metal he was holding. He couldn't make out what it was, but he knew something was there. "What's that you're holding?" He asked, "Don't tell me you're trying to take my satellite dish?"

Takeshi just looked at him, even though the guy sort of smiled at him. The guy told him he lived here and was trespassing, and that he also had a choice, state his business or leave. Now this made him chuckle. "You're such a liar.. You don't live here, you've never even been here before.. A female demon lives here. I'll give you credit for trying though."How dare he take me for a fool. Does he think he can lie to anyone and honestly get away with it? Honestly.. He ran a hand through his hair.
When the guy looked down, Takeshi just looked away. What the hell's his problem..? Although.. I can, sense something becoming different about him.. The boy then looked up, and he noticed his eyes were crimson now. He couldn't help but smirk a bit. When he asked what he was holding, he looked at him, Ignoring the satellite comment. "Nice. I even had it hidden from sight well." He said as he pulled DDS out and swung it around a bit. "So, tell me, are my senses right and you are human with just random powers or are you some creature?" He asked him, still swinging it around.

Fate sighed. So he was after Kasumi after all. "Correct! Aren't you the bright one," Fate smiled, "Can't get anything pass you." Fate clapped his hands and then pointed to the exit. He didn't want trouble, but above all that he didn't want anyone hurting his future wife. "Seriously, she doesn't like her anymore," Fate added, "So staying here is pointless."
This dude is strapped! Run!
Fate stared at the gun for a moment. "What am I? Your guess is as good as mine maybe even better." Fate raised his right hand as crimson electricity formed around it. Maybe this would make this dude leave, but Fate doubted it. The crimson electricity was so bright that the dark cave was now red, casting their shadows off the cave's walls. Fate's smile fade from his face. He now deemed a more serious look as he stared the guy down. "This... female demon you're after is my future wife," He said, "So what's you're business with her sir?" Fate waited impatiently for his answer.

"Correct! Aren't you the bright one,"[/u]
Takeshi chuckled a bit. "Nah, I'm not smart at all I'll tell you that now." He told him, then gave the guy a sly look. "You're just not very good at lying. Well, at least you won't be able to lie to me." Now he was slowly becoming smug. It would be better to get smug over someone that I know is stronger than me, but exceed in something they don't, not over what I have that something a human doesn't. Turning his attention back to the boy, he leaned is head on the back of the wall. "Thought her scent seemed rather, old.. So, when did she leave?" He asked. "Better yet, know where I could fine her?"
"What am I? Your guess is as good as mine maybe even better."[/u]
"Ah, so you're an unknown species. Well, I can smell a human scent on you and I sense you as human, so I'll take it you're human as far as my guess goes." Takeshi said as he put on hand on his head, leaning back onto the wall again. The bright red electricity caught his eye as he looked back at the boy, noticing it lit up the cave red. "That's awfully bright..." He said, taking his other hand and placing it to block the electricity. He listened as the boy spoke, lowering his hand. "Your "Future Wife", is going to be a demon? Are you insane?! Why would you want to marry a horrid creature!?" The guy then asked to state his business with her. "I'm here to kill her, what else? I kill all demons, any type. Why do you think there haven't been as many demons around Jump City?" He asked.

"Correcte again," Fate said, "I've never been a good liar." Fate tilted his head to the side and smiled. Fate shook his head no when he asked if he knew where Kasumi was. He did, but he had no intentions of telling this guy. "I know where is, but I doubt I'll tell you." He tugged at his goggles for moment. Fate shrugged once again. Was Fate human? Last time he checked he was, but what excatly was a huamn.
"And what excatly is a human?" Fate asked. So this guy didn't freak out seeing Fate's electricity. Horrid creature? Fate snapped his fingers, sending a bolt of electricity flashing by him. The bolt hit the back of the cave causing it to shake a bit. "Watch your mouth. She's isn't a creature. She's my life." Now Fate had anger plastered all over his face. He must have been one of those pull who ran her off from towns. He's just ignorant. Leave 'im be and let's go. Fate found it wise to listen to Hope at times like these. Last thing Fate needed was to doing something he would regret because of anger. He was getting ready to leave, but then the guy said he was here to kill her. Fate strentched his limbs out and then held his arm out toward the guy. "Well, let's get this over with. You know the deal," Fate said sternly, "In order to kill her you'll have to kill me first."

"Correct again," "I've never been a good liar."[/u]
"There's one thing we don't seem to have in common. I'm an excellent liar, but I only lie to get out of trouble, which is often. Sadly, I believe I've been stretching that skill or not as a good as a liar like I used too be for people have been seeing right through me lately." Takeshi explained with a sigh. He listened to the boy speak. "Protective I see. That's alright, I'll find her either by you without you actually knowing, or I'll find her myself." He told him with a shrug. "You didn't honestly think that just because you won't tell me, I would give up? I hope you didn't, because that's not how things work. At least, not with me."
"What is a human? How could you not now?" Takeshi said sourly. He sighed. "In my terms of definition, a human is someone who isn't a vile creature, such as a demon. In normal terms, I'm sure you know." Damn! Like teaching a newborn child! He was about to look at the guy, until he heard a snap and watch electricity fly by and feel the cave shake. He then told him to watch his mouth. This made him laugh. "Or what? You plan to make the cave fall? Go ahead!" He said, still chuckling. I'll get rid of it easily. Then, the guy turned and began to leave. Just gonna walk away, huh? Ah well, chances are I'll see him later when he finds his girlfriend dead. Movement caught his eye, and he looked back out the cave, seeing the guy have his hand outstretched towards him as he spoke. Sighing, Takeshi stood up. "I don't make a habit of killing humans. Not my thing. I kill demons.. But, I suppose if you're willing to play the noble act and sacrifice yourself first, I suppose I'll make an exception. Not because I think I'll win or anything, but because, something we have in common here, we both have something we want to protect." He told him as he walked out into the sun."Tell me here and now if you don't want to do this, and you can walk away, but don't think I'm going to quit coming after her. If you do decide to do this though, I'm going to make you a deal. Neither of us die, but, if you win, I'll leave you and your girlfriend alone, but you have to tell me her details so I know who she is. If I win though, I get to kill her without any of your sacrifices or complaints. Deal?"

”Well, I don’t know if being an excellent liar is great, but congratulations,” Fate smiled, ”I’m sure it will get you far in life.” Fate shrugged. He did think he would give up. Apparently, this guy had no one in his life that he cared about. If he did, he would understand where Fate was coming from. Given that he had threaten to take Fate’s fiancée’s life, Fate couldn’t forgive him. Fate couldn’t help, but laugh. Was he serious? ”That’s a really blunt answer. Humans are no better than demons. It’s sad that you honestly stand their and discriminate like this,” Fate said, ”It just sounds to me that you’re someone haunted by a vengeful ghost. What? Did some bad demon kill your parents now you’re out for revenge? Grow up and get over it.” As far as Fate saw it, humans were the vile creatures. The things that they did for money, the things that they did for money. Fate was a product of these humams.
Fate really didn’t care if he got his reason for hunting demons right. Fate could understand this guy if he was hunting bad demons, but he hunted them all. Fate walked outside the cave and stared him down. He had stop paying attention to what he was saying. One thing was on Fate mind; defend. He would defend Kasumi. If that meant he had to hurt someone than so be it. ”A deal? Sorry, I don’t make deals with the devil.” Fate entire body was no covered with electricity. Fate placed his right hand above his head, firing off three bolts of electricity into the sky. ”Tell me Hunted Hunter do you have any love ones?” The clouds in the sky turned to a red hue.

”Well, I don’t know if being an excellent liar is great, but congratulations,” ”I’m sure it will get you far in life.”[/u]
"You're joking, right? Lying doesn't get you anywhere. Well, unless you plan to be a lowlife for your dream job.." Takeshi said, folding his legs and putting his hands in his pockets.
”That’s a really blunt answer. Humans are no better than demons. It’s sad that you honestly stand their and discriminate like this,” ”It just sounds to me that you’re someone haunted by a vengeful ghost. What? Did some bad demon kill your parents now you’re out for revenge? Grow up and get over it.”[/u]
Takeshi flinched slightly, but then smiled and began to laugh. He honestly began to feel like a maniac. "Damn, you almost got that correct. First, I never said I loved humans, I just can't kill them. My mother was human, so even if I wanted to try and kill one, her memory wouldn't let me. My father on the other hand, was a demon. When my mother was killed, which was his fault, he did nothing. He didn't give a rat's ass about her or anyone else besides himself. Not even his children. what he did summoned demons that were against him to come and attack and kill his family, hoping probably they could kill him, but they never got the chance." He told him smugly a bit at the end. "But you know.." He said as he looked at him with sharp eyes. "You look like someone who also is haunted by the past. Are you not?"
”A deal? Sorry, I don’t make deals with the devil.”[/u]
"I'm the devil now? Tell me, what do you see in this demon? Why do you favor that disgusting species so much?" Takeshi asked coldly as he watched the guy's body become enveloped with electricity as he sent a spark in the sky, making it red. "Neat trick you got there." He said as he looked p, but down as he asked if he had any loved ones. "What would you plan to do if I did?"

Fate shrugged again. He wasn't serious about his statement. Guess Takashi couldn't sense Fate's sarcasm. Eventually, people would stop trusting you and stop believing in the words you say if you were a liar. "So your mother was killed by your demon father? Go kill him. Why take it out on others who had nothing to do with it? It's stupid and childish," Fate spoke, "A child born to a mass murderer... Does that make that child a murderer to? Should we end that child's life because there's a chance that she might be what he father was?" Takashi was passing judgement on people he had no clue about. Fate stared at his with eyes that seemed to be piercing through his soul. "No. The past is the past. I'll admit there was some horrible things taht happen to me back then, but it's over. I live in the present and look forward to the future." Fate ripped his left arm sleeve and pointed to the bold lettering on his left bicep; 30/30-150.
"I see a future in her, my future. And now you want to take that away from me." He shook his head and laughed. He felt sorry for this guy. Fate was better than this. The electricity that was around his body faded away as he pressed forward. He walked passed the guy. From the way he spoke his question Fate knew he had someone he cared about. "So you do have someone you care about. Pity. I'm not like you. I'm not going to try and hurt someone you care for. I actually feel sorry for you. Here you are, wanting to end a life of someone you know nothing about, wanting to hurt someone who done nothing to you." He paused for a moment and stared at the ground before opening his mouth to speak again. "It's funny. From what you told me about your father, you must really hate him... Yet you two are excatly the same."

"So your mother was killed by your demon father? Go kill him. Why take it out on others who had nothing to do with it? It's stupid and childish,"[/u]
"Way ahead of you. I killed him shortly after my mother died. Of course, it was intentional, but either way he wouldn't have lived long whether I was to kill him or not. As for your statement about it being childish, I don't care. It may seem childish to you, but it's personal to me. you got to remember, not everyone can be like you. I don't let go easily." Takeshi said blankly. He completely ignored the guy's next statement. He looked at him though when he ripped off his sleeve to show a set of numbers while explaining he had rough and painful times in the past too. "Ah, so you must be the honest, forgiving guy, right? The one all the girls want and the one guys look up to? Oh, wait, forgive me. I must be "stereotyping" again. You really do look like that kind of guy though. No wonder you're already engaged, if memory serves."
"I see a future in her, my future. And now you want to take that away from me."[/u]
"Why can't you find a future with someone who is also human? Why a demon? What can she do that a human can't?" Takeshi asked, almost becoming irritated. He didn't say anything or move when the guy laughed and shook his head, making the electricity disappear as he walked past him. He listened to the boy's words and said nothing. It was what he said after that got his attention. The fury rose up in him like a fire that just had oil put on it. "DON'T YOU DARE COMPARE ME TO THE LIKES OF THAT MAN!!!!" Takeshi yelled furiously. He froze though when he felt like he pulsed. His bangs covered his eyes as they went from a normal crimson to a red crimson. He then began to laugh, but t didn't sound like Takeshi. It was more evil and somewhat deeper. "Way to piss Takeshi off." Said the supposed "Takeshi". "You know from what I've heard, I take it you don't like him. Neither do I. Truthfully, he's a wimp.." He said crossing his arms.

"So then your job's done." Fate shook his head with disappointment. "Never asked you to be like me. I'm just saying that you're just like your father. Your father killed someone you love. Now you want to kill someone I love. You're both the same. You're actually worst because you're using this 'grudge' to justify taking innocent lives." Fate just smiled at him. This guy looked the same age as Fate, but he was much more immature. Hatred only led to more hatred then it became a never-ending cycle. "I never said anything about forgiving. I just choose not to chase after vengence and if I did it would only be those who hurt me. But I have better things to do with my time."
I say kill him. The world would be a better place without him. No, a person like him will eventually destroy himself. We'll leave him be. Let him live with his grudge.
"I couldn't tell you. You never gave me a pure definition of what a human was. If anything, she more human than any human I've ever met." Fate could see that he push some buttons when he compared Takeshi to his father. The truth hurt. He laughed slightly again. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to compare you two. I meant to say that you are your father. You can deny it all you want, but we both know it is true." Fate did notice his voice was a little different, but what made Fate stop completely was hearing his name. He started to piece the puzzle together. Yes, this had to be the Takeshi that Zell spoke off. He didn't see what she saw in this guy. This must have been the demon side Zell talked about. Fate knew that Takeshi could still hear him though. "Takeshi, you say... No, I don't like him," He spoke, "So will you tell me where his younger sister is so I could put an end to her life? I already know where I can find Zell."
