The first day of your first, new job. Sucks. No one likes working on their first day, you're a newb! You don't know what the hell to do! It always seems like people also hate helping out the newb. Or, maybe they just hated helping Kasumi out. Maybe because it seemed like the dogs took a great liking to her, the cats seemed pissed at her and the rest seemed terrified. It was a rather loud while, until they got a break, leaving her alone, in the store. All, alone, with no help. Not a wise idea. At all. When she opened the cage to grab one of three cats, the oldest one scratched her on the face, and then escaped with the other two following. She then had to chase them down, resulting in many scratches. She began to disinfect the wounds, but then heard a customer come in. Running out, she looked at the customer, figuring she looked weird with all the scratches and blood. "Uh, hello! And welcome! Is there anything I can help you with..?" They seemed to think it over, then nodded, asking for a bird. "Ah! Yes, this way please." She told them happily.
This, didn't go as planned either. Once the desired bird was chosen, Kasumi opened the cage, only to bed attack by a flock of birds. She screeched and put her arms over her head. She took a deep breathe, and exchanged the bird for money, and the customer left with the bird, lucky the others didn't fly out. After finally just deciding to use her sun power to catch them, she put them back in the cage, now having talons scratches everywhere. Sitting down at the register, she slammed her head down and panted slightly. Almost groaning when she heard the bell n the door ring, she looked up to see it was some of the other employees.
Kasumi's jaw dropped open just like theirs did, since the place was messy and she was messed up herself. "I, I can explain..!" She began. "No explaining to it! You screwed the place up! Get it clean, and fast! Now!!" The manager yelled. "Yes, sir.." She told him as she left the register and they left the room. She sighed as she began to clean up and felt like banging her head repeatedly on the wall until her brains splurged out when the bell on the door rung again. "Hello, and welcome. Do you need any help finding a pet today?" She asked, rather depressed and out of energy, even though it was only noon or so.

Michael was flying over head as he heard a Loud CRASH as he landed he saw some pets where going out of control as he came in the manager was yelling at some worker their as he sighed he didnt like seeing pepole geting yelled at he sighed as she came over and spoke he smiled and shook his head before replying to the worker she seemed to have been really busy today dang alot of things had happened today. He should of been out looking for slade but even he could use a break every once in a while.
"Nah im good but you seem a little down everything ok?" Michael asked as he smiled and waited for a reply wondering what was wrong. |

Kasumi sighed and began to place the items back on the wall. Maybe I should've just let Fate get me the money.. They'd be better off without me here, jut like every other place...My home doesn't need me, not my dad and certainly not Earth... Maybe I should just disappear.. Fate would find someone better, and I'd die slowly without him. Probably the way things should be. She looked down and sighed again. Maybe I should quit.. The people don't like me and obviously don't need me, so why bother being here? I don't see a reason why, beside the whole promise with Fate tht I'd get a place to stay...

Kasumi looked at the customer, and dropped everything she had as she busted into tears, shaking her head. "No, I'm not! Worst day ever, I hate it!!" She said as she placed her head in her hands and continued to cry.

Michael was tooken back a little as he jumped as the girl started to cry Michael shook his head as he went over to her and began to speak. "Hey hey hey! it cant be that bad" Michael said sighing. "Trust me ive been though worse" Michael said somewhat muttering to himself not knowing that some pepole could hear as he waited for the girl to respond as he sighed wondering what on earth was wrong with her as what he has learned Girls dont just break down and cry for no danm reason they must of been though hell if that was the case.

"Yes it is! I can't do anything correct here! No ones wants to help the new person and everyone hates me here! I've screwed everything up and made them hate me even more!" Kasumi told him between gasps as she continued to cry. "It's horrible! How can anyone stand a day here?! I swear, their like demons here that like to feed off my misery!"
"Trust me ive been though worse"[/u]
Sniffing and wiping her eyes, Kasumi looked at the guy. "I am sure many others have been through worse, I have also been through worse than this, but this is the worse day ever!!" She told him as she tried to calm down. "I am very sorry to hear that, though.."

Michael sighed before speaking. "Yeah..." He said before his frown turned into a good smile. "But ive come here to fix that soon my parents Will be avenged so i got to keep a chin up" Michael said before looking at the girl crying and spoke. "You need to do the same too its only for the best you know" Michael said with a smile it was one Michael was know for back where he was from so it was looking good for him as he loved trying to cheer pepole up though sometimes it would seem imposible he would make it possible

Kasumi wiped her eyes and just looked at the boy. He seems to have enthusiasm... "You're parents have been killed..? I am sorry to hear that.. I too have had my parents murdered... I don't know by who though.. So sadly I cannot to do vengeance." She told him quietly. She continued to look at the boy as he spoke again. she slightly smiled. "Yeah.. Chin up.." She sighed."For the best..? The only reason I am attending this job is because my boyfriend doesn't want me to live in my current whereabouts.. He offered to let me live in his place but I don't want to be a burden, so I got a job, but this doesn't seem to be going well..." She looked at him with pitiful eyes. "Any advice..? Oh! By the way, My name's Kasumi Kaji.."

Michael smiled. "Names Michael "Konrid" Grayson but Michael is just fine" Michael said as he heard The question on advice Michael rubbed his chin as he pondered this he wasnt sure he had a girlfreind once before but after slades attack...Tightening his fists at slades name but he shook his head trying to keep his anger in check as he hoped that slade could be stopped one way or another he sighed before speaking.
"Im afraid not. I had a girlfreind once but she was killed along with my Parents in my time so i have not been able to settle down anywhere let alone Find a job. Please forgive me" Michael said as the more he remembered his past the more his fists lit up in starbolt form.

Kasumi smiled at him slightly. "Nice to meet you Michael. My name is Kasumi Shoku Kaji." She said. I haven't said my middle name in so long.. I haven't even told Fate my middle name.. She watched as he scratched his chin, then tightened his fists. She tilted her head. "Are you alright..?" She asked him, becoming concerned.
"I'm afraid not. I had a girlfriend once but she was killed along with my Parents in my time so i have not been able to settle down anywhere let alone Find a job. Please forgive me"[/u]
Kasumi nodded. "It's alright. You have no need to be forgiven, for you have done nothing wrong." She told him with a smile, but looked at his hands they began to glow. So I see he has powers of his own... I wonder... Why he.. It then clicked to her. He has been getting angry about his past.. I'm honestly not one for first-meeting physical contact, but... She walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around him, blushing a bit. "If it hurts you to remember, then please, don't think about it.. I'm sorry for making you remember the painful things, but I believe it is time to focus on the good, happy things in life.. I'm sure your parents wouldn't want your life to be consumed by revenge, hatred and regret.. I believe they'd wat you to be happy." She told him with a smile.

Michael calmed down a little from the hug and sighed as the starbolt began to slowley disapear as it was fully gone he looked up at the sky and sighed before speaking. "Sorry tends to get the beter of me some times" Michael said with all honesty as he sighed it was true his anger sometimes got the better of him though after all hes been though who could blame him.
"Slade willsion...that man is gonna pay dearly" Michael cursed to himself as that mad man was the reason he had come to this time to fix all that he has done to his time and hopefuly change his time so that he could live a better life than he has.
