Shopping Spree (Open)

Kari had been wandering around the city, rather bored and finding that the town had less and less to do lately. The police were cracking down on gifted who had gotten out of control, but Kari decided to stay anonymous about his own powers.
Suddenly he found his stomach growling and he looked around for a place to eat.

He was nearby the mall so he figured that the food court would be good enough to fill him up. So he made his way inside and started to walk through the crowds of people inside, the whole time making sure to find out what the layout of the place was.

Sure he had money on him, but no he wanted more of a thrill out of it. Pulling a cigarette out of his pack he stuck it behind his ear and casually walked through the crowd, eventually bumping into someone and sneaking his hand into their pocket, taking their wallet. He looked up at the man and apologized softly for his rudeness and quickly stuffed the wallet into his own pocket, thinking he had gotten away.

Quickly he moved away and tried to hurry off, but not to be suspicious he made sure not to go to fast.

Kari smirked as he fumbled the fruits of his labor in his pocket.
Quickly he went to find a place to look through the wallet, hopefully there was at least some cash in it. He made his way outside slowly, that way he wasn't anywhere near the man who's wallet he had taken.
Wandering toward a nearby bench he sat down next to another person, although they looked as if they didn't care. But then again no one really cared about anything here.

Opening the wallet he quickly found around 30$ inside and stuffed it into his own pocket. He started tossing the credit cards and personal identification out, after all he didn't want anything to be tracked back to him.
After he was finished he tossed the wallet into a trash can and he pulled his cigarette out from his ear, lighting it with a bic he pulled out of his pocket.

Kasumi ran down through the town for no real reason. People she passed gave her weird glances, for she had been running for quite awhile now, ever since she woke up from her slumber, which was twenty-two minutes ago. She hadn't been running lately like she had been, so wanted to catch up on that. She ran through the traffic, jumping and running on each of the passing cars. She ignored the gasps that she heard and the mumbles. She did flips and smiled as she heard the claps and what not. She was having fun, loads of it. Not everyday she grew the guts to go and run in traffic. She wasn't trying to be a showoff though, she was just bored. When you live in a cave and don't have a job, got nothing but time, which she found boring.

Kasumi then can to, the mall. This time, she actually didn't care. She ran right through the doors and continued running, jumping and dodging other people. She was slightly panting, normally she would pant her ass off if she was a human, but since she was also a wolf, it helped big time. The only time she stopped is when she saw a black haired man bump into someone else and take his wallet. "Stop him sir!!" She yelled as she ran towards them, but the man was already gone and the other man gave her a weird look. "You're so ignorant!" She yelled at him as she began to follow the scent of the man. Although wiht all the other scents, it became harder.

Kasumi stopped because her head began to spin from inhaling all the different scents. Just because she is a wolf doesn't mean she acts like one. She shook her head and began to look again. That's when she spotted him sitting on a bench, throwing out some of the things in the man's wallet. "Hey! Stop that! It doesn't belong to you!" She yelled as she ran, jmped and tackled the man down. She didn't know why she was bothering to be a hero today, since she often didn't but still. She snatched the wallet away from him and glared. "Thief!" She yelled as she began to pick up the d=cards he had been throwing out.

Kari was about to leave with his new found cash, although something happened that made things get quite a bit more complicated. He had though he heard someone yelling something inside about what he had done, although he could of been mistaken. Although he was sure that he had heard something once the voice came again, this time directed right at him.

He looked up from the wallet as he heard her voice, and soon after he saw her running straight toward him. He gasped and started to turn to run, but was tackled by her as soon as he had taken one step forward. He landed with a thud and became dazed for a moment, his head spinning from the impact with the ground.
His legs shaking, he instantly tried to get up and away from the chick, after all he didn't want to be caught again.

He made it to his feet and noticed her picking up the credit cards and such. Although he had made it this far, he still had no idea what to do next.

Kasumi picked up all the card and placed them inside. Hmph, I admit I'm poor myself, but to stoop low enough to steal someone's wallet is just plain pathetic. She looked up at the man as he began to run away. "Hell no!" She yelled again as she ran after him, catching up quickly and tackling him again. "You're not going anywhere! You're going to return anything you stole and give the man his wallet back!" She ordered as she stood up and yanked the man up, dragging him back to go and find the man. It was easier this time, since she had something contained his scent. She held on to the man's arm and held the wallet up to sniff it, then lowered and began to track the man down. It was still difficult, since when she picked up his scent, she couldn't tell if it was fresh or not.

"You're lucky I don't turn you into the police. Stealing from others won't get you anywhere, it'll not only probably end up making your life worse, but the person you stole from's life. Have you ever thought of that?" Kasumi asked as she stormed about, still looking for the man. "When we find this guy, place whatever you took back in the wallet and return it to him. Say you found it on the ground or something and that everything is in there. I really don't care what you say, just say something that won't get you arrested. Understand? If you don't, I will call the police." She told him as she picked up the man's scent again and tracked it down into a store.

The man was in a bookstore and was already at the counter, looking around and patting himself down, more than likely trying to find his wallet. Stopping, Kasumi let go of the man's arm and turned to look at him. She handed him the wallet. "I'd go now before the man gives up and comes out here seeing me hand you his wallet. He'll think I stole, which I wasn't the one who took it. Just for a head's up, if you take the wallet and run it won't work, I'll just tackle you again." She told him seriously.

Kari made it a few steps away this time before the girl had managed to catch up with him and tackle him yet again. Although he was getting quite tired of this, and soon he found himself being pulled up from the ground.
He found it a little embarrassing that he was being man-handled by a woman, but then again she didn't seem like she was normal.

She began to drag him through the mall, explaining to him the moral choices he made and how they were wrong etc etc.
Although Eventually the two made their way through the mall, as if the girl knew exactly where she was going and where to find the man.

As they stopped outside the store the girl let his arm go and he grumbled a little. after all he knew running was out of the question, but what he needed was something to distract her, or put some sort of distance between the two.
She started talking about what she wanted him to do, and how to do it. But Kari had other plans, so he looked at the woman and chuckled. "Na... I don't think so."

His hands clenched in to fists as he concentrated on his abilities. A moment later he had vanished in a puff of oxygen gas. A few stores down there was a loud bang, Kari had reformed from his gas state almost the same time he had disappeared, making it look like he had teleported from one store to another.

He heard people scream and gasp as he fell into a shelf of clothes and knocked it over, let alone the fact that he had fallen from the ceiling was not a good sign either. Although he knew he was still in the mall, and he knew the girl would be following him, so he knew he had to get out of there.
Standing up he started to run through the crowds of people, trying to avoid the girl as best he could.

Kasumi listened to the man grumble as she spoke. "Just do it and get it over with. Honestly, you'd think a grown man such as yourself should know better than to steal. Truthfully, it's a shame if a mere teenager knows better than an adult does. If you don't do this it'll just prove you're nothing but a mere low-life." She told him coldly. she meant it too. She disliked it when adults did horrible things to others. She gave the man a surprised look though as he chuckled. What is he up to..?

"Na... I don't think so."[/u]

Kasumi's eyes widened as he clinched his fists, and reached for him, but before she could, he disappeared. She waited, then heard a loud bang, quickly making her head turn. She bolted, dodging many people that got in her way. "Move now!!" She ordered, becoming irritated. She now just began to plow through them or shove them away. When she reached the store, shelves of clothes had been knocked over. He's not here anymore, his scent trails forward.. Good thing I know a thing or two about malls.. She bolted off again, but instead of going straight, she took a right turn. When she reached the little rectangle that led to the bottom floor, she got on the railing and jumped down, landing perfectly unharmed on her feet. She quickly ran again. this floor had less people and she could still smell him. His scent's getting stronger, he's nearby.. Turn on the stairs.. Now! she told herself as she barely turned in time, for she was too focused on his scent and almost ran into the railing beside the stairs. she went up three at a time.

Kasumi reached the top of the stairs, back on the floor she was previously and didn't smell his scent. Either he caught on or hasn't been here yet.. I'm going to make a guess and say that he hasn't been here. She ran to the left side of the stairs. After a few minutes, she caught his scent and followed, finding him. "Gotcha!" She said as she lifted her leg which would probably hit his stomach if he didn't deflect it. "I told you I'd fine you! Don't doubt me!" She ran a hand through her hair. "Why don't you do the right thing and give the man his wallet back?" She asked him.
