Mission in Action(Open)

[Akari]

Akari leaned against the side of the wall, drawing figures of the place in her mind. Yes, she was really trying to make a strategy. But the odds of two against who knows how many aren't good.. We would win for sure if I had my damn weapons, but no, I was too damn stupid to leave them in a god damn tree! She growled a bit deep in her throat. Anyway.. Hell knows when the government will show, I just said that to see if it would calm him if he was hiding being nervous or something. Then again, he is "Winged Shadow".. Who knows what he has done before.. They seemed to be familiar with him as well, so maybe he has been here before. Either way, we don't have time to be sitting here and waiting, for all I know they may not have a damn clue where I am. Sighing, she looked out a bit and listened and looked around. Place clear.. she looked back in. "Hey.. C'mon, let's get moving.. I don't think we can afford sitting here and waiting.. For all we know they might have cameras around here.." She told him as she grabbed his hand and began to walk out, then let go as they reached into the hall.

Akari walked down the hall, completely serious. She wasn't acting like she usually would, which would be happy and clumsy, not so bright, but even like this she wasn't the brightest brightest, but she was quick minded. To an extent. She listened carefully for any extra sounds, other than her quiet footsteps down the hall. She was too focused to hear if Leonardo was behind her or not, but had a feeling he might be. Why would he leave?

Akari suddenly stopped and looked around. "This may sound cheesy, but doesn't it seem rather, quiet..? Maybe even, too quiet...?" She asked, whispering the last part, trying to listen. She looked to the side, and saw an exit sign. That was too easy.. There are supposed to be guards too.. I have a bad feeling.. Walking over quietly, she put her hand on the knob. Slowly turning, she opened the door just for her eye to see. No one, but it was another room. Damn, not an actual exit.. 'Course not, that'd be too easy. Opening the rest of the door, her eyes widened and pupils went really small. They were waiting on the far side of the room, now spreading out. Her jaw tightened and so did her fists. "Dammit.." She mumbled. They were expecting this! They had it all planned out, and I was too stupid to see through them.. Her bangs then covered her eyes as she heard a chuckle. She knew it was from the boss. "Looks like the little government pet failed to succeed. Tell me, little girl, how does it feel? How do you think the government will feel?" He then looked at Leonardo. "And you, Lavinche, how does it feel to now you've been following and relying on a failure?" He asked, getting amused. Her jaw tightened even more. "I may have failed to see through your tricks.." Se said between her teeth as she now looked up at him. "but I won't fail at bringing you down, and getting Leonardo out of here safely!" She yelled at him. He arched an eyebrow. "You, against all of us? You think you have a chance?" He asked. She smirked. "Note: I said I would get Leonardo out of here safely. I plan to stay here and make sure that happens, even if I lose my life." She said smugly. "Damn, what is with you and always trying to do the noble act?" Echoed a voice. she looked from the source, and there stood the government with the leader standing there with a smile on his face. She smiled in return. "Hey, it's the government's job to keep civilian's safe, isn't it?" She asked as she put her hands on her hips. The Leader was about to say something, but someone else interrupted. "Listen, I'd love to sit and chat as much as you two do, but we got something to deal with right now." The leader chuckled sheepishly. "Right.."

The fight then broke out and Akari just, sat back. She knew the government had it under control. Hell, they outnumbered the bad guys, so the odds of the good ones winning were great. It didn't even take long, they were already done. "Lazy ass! Could've helped us!" He said playfully. She shrugged and laughed. "Hey, I've bee dealing with these for awhile and I'm tired of having my ass kicked!" She told him laughing. The leader then looked back at Leonardo, and his face went blank. Everyone went silent. Akari gave them a confused look. "Guys..?" "You've been with the Winged Shadow, have you..?" "Oh, perfect! Good job Gabriella! Now we can capture him too!" He said, prancing forward at Leonardo. Her eyes widened. She didn't know what they were talking about, nothing seemed to be wrong or bad with Leonardo. "Stop!!" She yelled. It was too late, and he had Leonardo by the arm, ready to pull it behind his back. She ran to the leader. "Please! Make him stop!! Leonardo hasn't done anything wrong! He's helped me and been very nice! He's a good guy, I promise! I've been with him since yesterday and if he was going to do something bad he would've done it by now, I'm sure!" She begged him, but he didn't seem to be paying attention to her, just focusing on Leonardo.

The government agent started to talk to him breaking his deep concentration. She was suggesting to run.. Perfect more running. He gave a sigh and followed her. She lead them right into a huge trap. Crap.... Okay.. we coul- His thought were once again cut off when the boss was talking. Leonardo cursed under his breathe. He hated bragging bad guys.. They never know when to shut up.

Just then a helicopter was over head releasing about twenty government agents.. maybe more.. Leon was just estimating a number... He watched as the girl laid back. he thought to do the same thing. Why not? They had it handled..
Then he realized he had to find a way to escape just in case. He immediately assumed he could quickly sneak to the side of the building and try to blend in the darkness and waited till the leave.. Then again he had no weapons or anything good for that matter.. His whole identity showed.. this was absolutely perfect...


What made it worse was the leader agent who went straight up the girl. Then turned with absolutely no expression on his face. He grabbed Leonardo by the arm. The crazy government chick started screaming. All Leonardo could think of was two things.. Crap... and fight back.

He twisted to try and pull away from the guy's grip. The guy was extremely strong.. Leonardo Went to punch the guy. Just to have his miniature knuckles caught bare hand.. Leonardo knew he was trapped.. This guy was bigger, tougher, stronger, and well had lots of men who could shoot Leonardo down. Leonardo decided to try and play it smooth.. Maybe his highly intelligent mouth would help.. he secretly doubt it.. he was out done. Well.. at least it is just prison... Until he got out o f course.. The thought made him grin. That wolfish grin that made good guys annoyed.

[Akari]

Akari turned and looked at Leonardo as he tried to fight Jikatsu, the agent keeping a hold of him. Jikatsu's deflected his attacks as if they were nothing, such as when he tried to punch him, he caught his wrist, smirked, and twisted it. He then brought his knee up, jamming it in his stomach. "Get that nasty grin of your face!" He yelled as he slammed Leonardo's head down, then pulling his arm back up far behind him, more than it should've. "Stop it!!" Akari ordered. "Daisuke!" She yelled as she looked at the leader. Everyone stopped. It was very well known and strict that younger agents, such as Akari, were not allowed to call the leader himself by his name. Not even any hardly full grown men used it. "You have to make him stop! He's done nothing wrong!" She told him. He pulled his hand back and slapped her. Her face just went to the side, sort of wincing. "Dammit Gabriella! Look what you've done now! You know very well you're forbidden to use my real name, especially in front of the enemy!" He told her sternly. She growled a bit as fury began to rise. "He's not the enemy! Besides, I'm getting tired of these code-names! Why should we have to hide from the people we're fighting for?!?! I for one don't think we should have to! " She fought back as she took a deep breathe.

"HEY EVERYBODY THAT CAN HEAR ME! LISTEN UP!" Akari yelled as loud as she could. "I AM AKARI! AND I AM ALSO IN THE GOVERNMENT AS A SPY!" She took in another breath, but said nothing, waiting for a reaction. She swallowed as everyone went silent and stood there appalled. It was obvious Daisuke was exploding with anger. "YOU LITTLE BRAT!" He yelled as he went in for a hit, but she flipped and dodged it. "After everything the government has done for you, this is how you repay them?!! We raised you, how dare you defy us!" He asked as a fight broke out between them, but she never went in to hit him, she just dodged his attacks, waiting for a slight opening. He was the leader for a reason. Her eyes then turned fierce. An opening! She went for him, and he got a good blow in the stomach. She then ran from him and ran for Jikatsu and Leonardo. Jumping, she kicked Jikatsu down, making him release Leonardo. Except, it wasn't as easy as she thought it would be.

As soon as Jikatsu hit the ground, eveyone else went in for the attack. "Shit!" she whispered as she ran towards the crowd. Many feet and hands came to her, and was only able to deflect about a third of them. She hit the ground, but flipped up and went towards them again and now was returning the attacks. She glanced at Leonardo and back. "Hey, Leo! Get your ass out of here, don't stand there! If you stay here Jikatsu will get back up and capture you! If you want to make it out of here, alive, then get going!" She ordered him. "Traitor!" Yelled someone amongst the crowd. She looked at Daisuke and Jikatsu. She was closest to both of them, and she just hit both of them. Maybe I am.. But I am willing to take what punishment is waiting for me as long as it protects innocent people! They're wrong about him! He's a good guy! Akari flipped out of the crowd as she landed, facing them and panting. She grunted as electricity flew throughout her body. As she fell to the ground, she looked to see who it was. "D-- I mean.. Leader..?" She asked. "Sorry Gabriella, or, Akari, but you know the rules.." He looked at the standing Jikatsu , rubbing his face. "Get Shadow. Do whatever it takes and take down anyone that gets in your way." He ordered.

Leonardo could not believe the female spy attacked her own boss. Not only that but he had learned the guy's name. That would be useful in the future. Maybe in the near future he could rescue the stupid female. As soon as he had a chance he grabbed Jikatsu's gun and fled. He made a mental note to free the girl later. He ran and got his heart rate pounding.

By the time his heart rate matched that of his kitten form he reached the end of the surrounding area and turned into akitten with many government spies after him. Luckily for him they never assumed he would turn into a kitten. Nobody but the girl knew. She would might have spilled it to them Shoot! She cannot be captured.. Ugh! What to do! He stayed in his kitten form until the spies left the area after a long hard search. Which hiding in a tiny black area made it easy for him to "vanish".

He then headed out in kitten form back to where his instincts told him the city was.
Sadly he was unable to turn back into a human till he reached the city and passed out from exhaustion.

Whenever he awoke a dumb mutt was licking his face at 10am in the morning. Many people walked by not even taking a glance at him.. It was normal to have a black haired guy butt naked in the ally. Really! Okay not.. Either way they didn't bother looking at him.

Leonardo went through the trash to find some kind of clothing. Then went to a payphone and called his guard. He explained what happened and where he was. The guy soon came and picked him up..

When Leonardo went inside of his mansion he quickly started looking up files about Jikatsu and Akari. He was amazed how many government official files showed up.

He quickly filed through them discovering everything about the two spies and government officials. He then turned to his work table and started creating a gadget that'll allow him to hack into the government place...

This was easy since he already had all he needed from old and new laptops. Then from stolen technology he made an invisibility cloak that'll turn anyone touching it invisible for thirty minutes. This took about four straight hours of math, engineering, and computer technology. He finished it all up by vamping up his uniform with little "gadgets" that allowed him and akari to escape and get away. These gadgets included {Smokegernads, C-4s, three long swords, two small guns, temperature controlled suit, he actually redid it to allow him to glide form any possible scene, little technology toys that'll let him hack anything, not to mention the invisibility cloak and of course heart-rate measure}

He slipped his "Winged-shadow" outfit on and headed out. He asked his driver to take him northward toward the government facility. Then to drop him off to the nearest skyscraper. The driver nodded and took him to that exact area. Leonardo climbed the wall with his already climbing shoes. When he got to the top he opened his newly made gliding wings. Then took a deep breath and took a dive downward to pull up after a wind-current pushed it up.

He flew right over any lights or security in the building and landed on the rooftop in complete darkness. He then flipped his computer open and wirelessly hacked the system to turn off any security alarms. Then went down through the vents.. No not in kitten form.. he hates that form remember. He slide through the vents using his laptop to pinpoint where Akari would be.

When he found the area he stealthily slipped the vent open.. Hacked the computers to reply surveillance in that section over and over. Then said in a sweet cooing voice. "Hey nutsy... Up here... Come on we only got two minutes.."

Jikatsu nodded at the order, but froze as he saw Leonardo take his gun, then run. He stood there like a moron for a minute, then looked, re4alizing what happened. "Dammit!" He yelled as he ran after Leonardo. "No!! Stop!!" She yelled, trying to move, but being paralyzed, that didn't work too well.

Jikatsu raced down the hallways, trying to follow Leo, but he had a good head start so had no idea where he went. Hey, he was a government man, not a psychic. He looked around for any clues or something, but seemed to be failing at finding any. He sighed. "Man... The leader is so not going to be happy when he hears I lost him.. Damn... Shadow... Where'd you go...? Don't really want to get in trouble here, so I need you..." He whispered, looking around. He saw a patch of clothes, but paid no attention to them, thinking it was one of the "gang's" clothes lying around. Well damn.. Where did he go..? Man the leader is not going to be happy I lost him! We need a tracking device t put on him, then we'd know exactly where he was! Groaning, he continued on walking, finding nothing.After another ten minutes of searching, he gave up. He thought he saw a black kitten, but hey, his mind could've been playing tricks on him, so he, once again, paid no attention. When Jikatsu returned, he groaned again, for everyone was gone. Man! Couldn't leave me a helicopter at least?!?! Now I gotta walk! Damn!

Jikatsu finally walked in the doors, and Daisuke looked at him. "Did you find him? Where is he?" He questioned. Jikatsu inhaled and rubbed the back of his head. 'Bout that.. I kinda lost him.." He told Daisuke sheepishly. He gave Jikatsu a blank stare and blinked. "You did what now..?" He asked. "I... I kinda...lost him..?" He repeated. "....Okay." He said as he turned back to his work. Jikatsu's eyes popped open. "You're...not mad?" He asked. "I'm not happy, but I already have a child to deal with right now. I still don't know what her punishment will be.. I don't have time to think of another. Just hurry and track him down." He ordered. Jikatsu saluted him. "Yes sir!" He said as he walked off to investigate.

Akari sat in her room, laying on her bed and looking up at the ceiling, listening to Flyleaf and waiting for her punishment. Now that I actually think about it.. I did do a dumbass thing.. Now everybody that was listening knows and could come after me easily.. Then again, never said Gabriella, but I did say spy and it's obvious I'm female....I'm pretty much the only female spies.. The youngest one, actually.. She turned on the side and sighed. I deserve any punishment I receive...

"Hey nutsy... Up here... Come on we only got two minutes.."[/u]

Akari's face drew bank as she looked up. "Leonardo?!" She yelled in a whisper. "What are you doing here?! You know they'll capture you if they find you!" she told him as she climbed up to where he was, slightly smiling. It's kind of sweet he came and found me though.. Wait.. she looked at him with a blank stare as she pointed. "Did you just call me "nutsy"?"

Leonardo gave her a wolfish confident grin. He then helped her into the vent and closed the latch. he turned to the goverment spy and whispered to her. "Look.. I got in here from the top vents.. Now listen to me. i need to trust you to slip us out of teh building.. I went striaght abck to my mansion and went to work on a few devices.. here I made this.. This device I call the invisbility cloak. It will make you invisible for thirty minutes tops. I want you to show the way out of here.. Don't worry I can hack any computers and I ampt my wardrobe.. Since out last meeting turned out bad for me.." He waited clamly for her answer whiel pulling out for teh device to show her.

[Akari]

Akari gave him a blank look as he grinned wolf-like at her. I winder what he is planning.. Especially with a grin like that.. Either way, If I'm caught I'm going to be in even more shitload of trouble than I already am.. Either way.. I wanna hang with him for awhile, so I think I'll risk it. She returned his gaze and listened carefully to his explanation. She looked at the cloak as he pulled it out. She took an edge from her, and her hands were unable to be seen. "Wow, it works.." She whispered. she looked up at him with a smug smile. "Alright, well, what are we waiting fro, let's go." She said as she wrapped it around them. She then began to crawl down the vent as silently as she could manage. Hack computers huh? Certainly comes in handy. Must be how he got inside... "Hey.. Why did you come find me..? I don't understand. Why would you come for someone who's supposed to be after you?" She asked, now becoming rather confused.

Akari continued on down the vents until she reached another door. Quietly opening the vent, she slipped out of the cloak and put most of her body through it, only having her hands hang on, but then let go and landed soundlessly on the floor. She looked around and listened for anyone nearby, then looked back up at the vent. "C'mon, come down, quickly!" She whispered at him.

Leo followed her down the small vent tunnel. When she asked him why he came to save her. He whispered siltenly "Because you saved my arse as well." When she slippe dout of the tunnel he quickly followed her.

Akari giggled slightly. "It's what government people do. We don't really expect repayment.. Plus, I live here, and leaving is probably going to get me in more trouble, but ah well. Regardless of what they tell me, you're my friend," and crush... "So I'll hang with you if I want to." She told him with a smile.

As he landed, she quickly went for the cloak to also wrap it around her. she then bent to the ground, and lifted a tile from the floor, giving him a smirk. "Secret passage, mostly empty. Used to play hide-and-seek down here a lot. Or if I wanted to be alone, but of course they'd find me since I always came down here." she told him sheepishly, slipping in it. She glanced around haven't cleaned the place in awhile.. Pretty dirty. Stuffy too. I'll have to clean it since I'll get suspended for awhile at least. Plenty of free time. wonder what I will get as punishment.. she then turned to the right and flicked a light on. She looked around as she saw some of her old toys she'd bring down here to play with. Which honestly was fake weapons that got her to practice with. There were a few normal toys as well. Walking forward, she bent down and picked up a worn down rabbit. she ran her hands over it as she held it. I remember this.. My mother gave it to me as a birthday gift when I was real little. I took it every where with me wherever I went. I loved it. We've been through a lot together.. Poor bear has been through so much..

Akari's vision gradually began to blur as she began to remember the times she had with her old family and life before becoming a government agent. She smiled slightly. "We've been through so much, haven't we, Celeste?" She asked, remembering what she named the rabbit. So this is where you've been hiding.. You know I cried so much when I forgot you were down here.. I thought I lost you. I feel, happy now that I found you. She hugged the rabbit as tears fell down her face. Akari then snapped back in reality. "Right, come on. we still need to get out of here." She told him blankly, no emotion whatsoever in her tone as she began to walk down the tunnel, still clutching the rabbit she called Celeste.

Leonardo followed her into the secret tunnel. He was personally mapping the whole area in his photographic memory. He looked at the girly agent as she told him about her hidden spot.. Which turned out not to be so hidden.. Why did she drag us down here if it isn't hidden? Crap what is she doing....... Wait.... She always been in the place since when... I must know... I must know whether I can bring her with me.. whether I can convince her to leave this place.."

Leo stopped her in her path and turned to her. He put his hands on her shoulder and stared her straight in the eye. "How long? How long have you lived here? Trained here?" He had a gut feeling it was a very long time......

[Akari]

Akari walked down the tunnel, but it seemed more like a memory lane than anything. She sighed, remembering her fights, the times she cried, the times she played or got angry and so on. Her memories here gradually faded into memories from her normal home. C'mon Akari, you have to get better grades than this! I know you can do better! Why must you let your mother down? Try harder! ...Yes mommy. We get straight A's in this family! Got it?! But.. Mommy.. Sister doesn't get straight A's.. Your sister doesn't need to, but you do! What's going on? Akari get a bad grade again?Sadly yes..[/i] she sat there and listened to her parents fight in front of her about it and even took a few hits. Other memories like that flowed into her mind, making her blood boil. In a swift movement, her fist drove hard into the wall, making it crack slightly.

Removing her hand from the wall, Akari flexed her fingers and continued, until Leonardo stopped her and looked her in the eye, asking her how long she's been here. "I've been here since I was about six.. so, nine years at least.. why?" She asked, still blank.

Leonardo shacked his head unable to believe it.. A six year old in this? How could they.. He sighed looked down at her shoes and turned back around to let her take the lead again..... He couldn't believe how could they do such a thing? She was only six...... Trained to be a killer... No wonder she had cried, hid, and was playful.... He walked a few feet and finally spoke. "Haven't you ever felt like you are in prison? Like you are trapped.... I-I.. Never mind..." He shrugged off and continued to think to himself... crap... I almost told her about my family... how they always argued about my family's name.. About how I am related to Leonardo De Vinci... Sigh... I was trapped there to.. my parents and grand parents argued.. My father wanted the best from me.. My younger brother proving to be the world's greatest genius.. When all I wanted to do was paint... I was grateful to go to America.. I was finally free.

[Akari]

Akari just looked at him as he sighed and looked down at her shoes. Have I made him upset? angry? No.. No! Please, don;t be angry!! I never meant to make him mad! Did I say something wrong?! But.. He asked! Why would he ask a question that would make him angry..? She clutched Celeste tighter, like she used to whenever she knew she was in trouble. Please don;t be mad.. You can;t be mad.. I don't like it when you, or anyone for that matter, is mad at me.. She watched as he walked a few feet away.

Akari blinked, then held Celeste up and looked at the rabbit. "Honestly.. I felt more trapped at home.. I mean my real home.. I suppose I do though. At times.. Not really allowed to be a normal person and have normal friends. The only real time I get to go out is if I'm on a mission.. Truth be told, you're really the only outsider I've talked to in a long time.. Very, long time.. Unless of course I was asking questions or interviewing someone.. Okay, outside of my job.." She told him as she looked at him. She cautiously walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around his waist. "You what? well, then again, if it is painful to talk about then I don't want to pour salt in an open wound, so forget I asked.. But, if you want someone to talk to, I'll listen.."

Leon rolled his eyes at her enthusiasm. He started to continue down the tunnel and said gently, "Come on.. They're probably going to find us.." He walked down the tunnel figuring it was the way. Even though he had no idea how to get out.. Government smart enough not to make a map and put it in there files...
