Starfire looked around as she searched for a Titan. She had gotten seperated from them earlier and couldn't seem to find them, but even so, she was still having fun. She had gotten the cotton candy she had with Robin one time and even rode the Ferris Wheel and ate it while she was at the top, watching the fireworks, even though she was alone. Sighing, she began to think of the times when things weren't all focused on stopping Slade like they are now. Back then, Robin wasn't so tense and wasn't gone so much, but now that Slade if back, he has left much more and they spent less time together. Much less time than she preferred.
Starfire smiled a bit as she watched the final firework shoot off. It was a big, beautiful explosion. She layed the candy beside her and rested her arms on the car she sat in. Resting her head on her arms, she watched as it finally ended. Well, the fireworks anyway. She then watched the stars and looked at the brightest ones, even finding some constellations. Suddenly, the scream of people reached her ears. Her head jolted up and to the side to see what was going on, only to see a big, purple blob. Plasmus. Starfire's eyes then began to glow as she flew out of the box car.
Plasmus began to seem as if he was searching for something, picking up tents and looking around. Finding nothing he apparently wanted, he flung the tent to the side, often destroying something else. Starfire flew in front of him and flung her arm, shooting a starbolt at him. He had moved his arm up, but barely in time. Part of it hit his arm and the other part hit his actual body. He screeched loudly, some out of pain, some annoyance. She flew up as he flung some goo at her. Shooting more starbolts at his back, he threw a control panel for a ride at her. She flew to the side and watched it continue to fly. She then noticed it was going straight for someone and bolted down in the direction, quickly grabbing the control panel right before hitting the person. Throwing it back, Plasmus dodged it and flew more goo at her, this time catching Starfire off guard. She grunted as she fell back and onto the ground, but quickly got up and flew off again.
Starfire continued to dodge his attacks, some barely missing her. She then shot some starbolts out of her eyes and he screeched in pain again. He then whipped his arm at her, this time hitting her and she flew into the Ferris wheel, denting the bars. Crying out in pain, she fell to the ground again and jumped quickly to the side as he flew goo at her, but was still on the ground. Her back was hurting her now, but was ignoring it as she got back up. "Do not underestimate me, I am far stronger than I appear." She said as her eyes glowed again and she flew into the air.

Kevin had decided to take some time off from his usual duties, those being school and helping to keep the city a nice safe place to live, and what perfect place to relax than at an amusement park? Luckily, he had saved enough money from his chores to be able to afford such leisurely activity. He could've brought some friends from school along with him, but for some reason he decided that he should go alone.
He had ridden almost every rollar coaster and spinning device that the park had to offer before he got even remotely tired. He still had plenty energy left and he planned on riding everything again before he headed home for the night. He stopped and watched the fireworks, wishing he was closer up to get a better look at them. He glanced over at the ferris wheel, but knew it was too late to get on as it was already spinning. He sighed and decided to just watch from where he was standing.
He could feel that something was amiss, but he couldn't quite place his finger on what it could have possibly been. He shrugged it off and watched the final explosion of the show. His eyes lit up with the sparkles that glittered the sky next to the stars. It was then that he heard a large crashing sound and the screams of people. He turned around to see a hideous large purple blob with green eyes terrorizing people and destroying things. He cursed under his breath. 'There goes my day off....' He thought sighing. He knew he couldn't transform infront of all those people though, he had to find somewhere where no one could see him.
He was stopped from any further thoughts by someone flying out from the top of the ferris wheel, no doubt a Teen Titan. He watched as she commenced battle with the monster, figuring that since she was on the scene then he wasn't needed to help out. He continued to watch the ensuing fight, and soon realized that she just may need some help. He ran into the bathrooms, making sure no one was around and pressed the red button on his watch, instantaneously changing his clothes. He ran back out to the scene to help out Starfire, hopefully he wasn't too late.
He came back just in time to see her being smashed into the ferris wheel then taking to the skies. A perfect time for an entrance in his opinion. He fired a beam of yellow energy at the gelatinous blob's torso, attempting to blast a hole through it's gut. "Hi there, if you're looking for the one who just turned you into a donut, that'd be me." He said assuming his fighting stance. He glanced up at Starfire, "You alright?" he asked before turning his attention back to Plasmus.

Starfire flew to the side again as Plasmus threw something else. Must he destroy and throw every item nearby? She decided to do the same then, and flew to the ground, grabbing a control panel. Lifting it over her head, she leaned her arms back and chucked it back at Plasmus. It landed in his upper shoulder. He just made a confused sound and looked down at it. He then absorbed it in his body. Afterward, his shoulder just practically spit it back out at her. In response, she made a large, continuous oval of her starbolt at it, making it pretty much disintegrate. She stared at it on the ground for a minute, then quickly flew away again as he flung more goo in her direction.
Making a U-turn, Starfire flew straight for him. Whens he was close enough, she punched him in one of his green eyes, then made it explode with her starbolts. He screeched loudly in pain again, moving his hands to his eyes. When he lowered them, again, he was suddenly swished to the side by Starfire's foot. He managed to dodge her next kick and pull his arm up and grabbed her. Starfire put her hands beneath his and tried to pry herself free, but couldn't manage to fulfill the job.She grunted loudly as Plasmus pulled his arm bac and plowed both her ands his arm in the ground. He pulled his arm back up, but only screeched and let her go as a giant hole was made in his chest. Starfire fell halfway down but then flew up, at least far enough to see who had sent the hole in Plasmus's chest.
"Hi there, if you're looking for the one who just turned you into a donut, that'd be me."[/u]
The boy Starfire saw then looked up at her and asked if she was alright. Flying down to his side, she nodded. "Yes, I am fine. I thank you for your assistance, it was most helpful." She then looked over at Plasmus, who was panting. He then took a deep breathe and the hole in his chest regenerated. Plasmus looked over to the side and picked up one of the places of were people got their tickets, only to throw it at the boy. Starfire flew into the sky and caught it. Plaicn git back down, she looked back over and her eyes widened. She figured out that he had used that as a distraction and now his arm was going straight for the guy at an incredible speed, not only that, but was getting a bunch of his goo ready.. Even if she did fly now, she wouldn't make it in time to help him. "Watch out!" She cried to him and began to fly anyway. She really hoped the boy would see through his plan and would stop it in time. The last thing she wanted was to see him get hurt.

Kevin smiled back at her response, glad he had made it back in time to actually make a difference. "No problem, I'm just glad I made it to you before you got seriously hurt." His smile faded and was replaced with the steely look one would give to an enemy, considering that Plasmus was an enemy, it was fitting. "What is this guy anyway? Did a cup of jello go under some serious mutation?" He asked not turning his eyes away from the mutated gelatin.
He watched as the ticket box flew towards him, and prepared to act but before he could move he was saved by Starfire. "Thanks!" He smiled up at her again, not noticing the arm speeding towards him. It wasn't until she screamed watch out that he even looked back at Plasmus. He saw the attack headed towards him and quickly used his super speed to side-step it, blasting it with an energy ball.

Starfire wouldn't have really cared how badly she got hurt as long as she brought down Plasmus, but smiled down at him anyway as in a thanks seeing as she was in the middle of a fight and couldn't exactly speak without getting distracted or causing distraction. The guy then asked what Plasmas was and truth be told, Starfire wasn't really sure. "Um, I'm not sure what his goo is, but I do know that there is a person inside. We have fought him many times and each time we have brought him down, there was always a man inside, sleeping. He also eats something green looking one time that had made him look how he is now, I am not sure what the substance is though." She said, standing straight in the air and remembering the stuff he ate. That was the time she went through her transformation. Snapping out of it she retuend back to the fight.
The guy then thanked her again for saving him from the ticket box. "I welcome you." She said with another smile as she continued to fly for them. The boy dodged Plasmas's hand ad Plasmas barely evaded the boy's energy projection attack. Looking at the guy, Plasmus spit the goo he had saved straight for him and it was a lot. He then began to screech again as Starfire shot more starbolts at him. Increasing her speed, she flew straight through Plasmas, but not where she wanted to. Her objective was to fly through him and knock the guy inside out, but failed, she was too far to the the left. She shuddered at having the goo on her, but flew over to the boy since Plasmas was in her way.

'Damn.... There's a person inside, I can't attack too hard now, otherwise I may hurt the guy. Just great.' Kevin thought scowling. He hated hurting innocent people, and now that he knew he was fighting a guy that was in some type of trance by this goo, he couldn't hurt him in good conscious. He clenched his teeth, trying to come up with another way to resolve this.
He glanced back up at Starfire, she sure had a weird way of talking. He figured english probably wasn't her first language, but he'd worry about that some other time. Right now he had to deal with the monstrousity before him, without hurting the guy in the center. He was so caught up in his own thoughts he didn't even see the goo flying at him and was smacked with it, sending him flying a good meter or two backwards.
He slowly got up and spit out the remnants that had made their way into his mouth, brushing his arms and pants off. "Gross!" He exclaimed sticking his tongue out for emphasis. The taste was horrible, he wished he had brought his toothbrush with him, but alas it was at home. 'Gotta finish this quickly.' He thought assuming his fighting stance once more. Except this time, instead of attacking right away, a whitish aura slowly began to rise up from his body, before long it was surrounding his body like a flame.

Starfire saw the guy scowl, but payed no real heed to it. Right now, she was focused on stopping Plasmas. Starfire watched a the hole regenerated and sighed, getting irritated. This is more difficult than it should be. If only the Titans were here.. Starfire began to space off with her hands glowing, of course. She shook her hand and managed to dodge another attack launched by Plasmas only to be hit to the side by one she didn't see. She grunted loudly as she twirled in the air, but stopped perhaps ten feet from the ground and flew back up.
Starfire stretched for a second, then flew to the side and flew in multiple circles. She wasn't sure what she was doing exactly, but sort of had a plan forming. Plasmas swung around as he tried to catch her, but finally gave up and went to attack the boy again. Starfire then flew up, appearing behind Plasmas, and shot her continuous line of starbolts from her eyes., hitting him in the back. The boy then flew back a bit and said "gross", exclaiming his displeasure.
Starfire then flew out of the way as goo flew out of his back. She smirked a bit as she flew back into her pattern of circles. The boy was sticking his tongue out, probably at the taste. She didn't blame him, Plasmas didn't taste the best. Suddenly, she stopped in the air and watched the boy as something began to emerge from his body and began to look like a flam. What is wrong? What is he doing?

Kevin completed his power up and now stood with a smirk on his face. He stared at Plasmus and slowly started to approach him, disappearing from sight after taking a few steps and ending up behind his enemy. He cupped his hands together by his side, charging a blast of blue energy. Once it charged up sufficiently enough for him, he thrusted his hands forwards, firing the beam that encompassed most of Plasmus' body, leaving only the top of his head and the outside of his arms untouched by the blast. He was trying to end this as quickly as possible, and right now he didn't care if that meant hurting the guy inside or not.

starfire and Plasmas both stood there, dumbfounded by whatever the boy was doing. She then saw the Plasmas was distracted and struck him, which he dodged. This is unsuccessful.. She looked back at the boy who now stood with a smirk. What is this boy planning to do? The boy then disappeared and she gasped a bit. She then heard a small sound, as if a pair of hands came together and both her and Plasmas turned around to see the boy there. Blue energy, then thrust his hands forward.
Starfire quickly moved to the side as she noticed she was too close. When she was far enough, she turned back to Plasmas as he screeched loudly. Her eyes widened as she noticed he was just a head and the outer part of his arms. The rest then fell to the ground as the goo slid away, revealing a snoring man. Floating to the ground, Starfire walked over to him and picked the man up. She then looked back up at the boy. "I thank you for your assistance, you were most helpful. Tell me, what is your name? I am Starfire, I am of the Teen titans. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.." She stopped, for the last part was meant for the boy's name, which she did not know currently.

Kevin sighed with relief as the flaming aura around him dissipated. His cold stare disappeared and was once again replaced with the happy demeanor that it had earlier. He was glad he ended that without hurting the man inside the monster, he felt accomplished. Stopped a rampaging monster, saved citizens, and came to the aid of a hero in need. He grinned as he watched her pick up the sleeping man. "No problem, don't mention it. Heroes gotta stick together right?" He replied feeling a little embarrassed as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Oh, nice to meet you Starfire, my name is Ke--" He started to say, but remembered he was in his super hero costume, not his normal clothes. He cleared his throat and struck a heroic pose. "I am guardian of the city! Protector of the innocent! The Amazing Kayaman!" He stated, introducing himself in his own special way. He couldn't believe he had almost given her his real name! Then again who was she going to tell? Still, couldn't take any chances.

Starfire watched as the boy sighed of relief and the aura around him faded away. His stare went softer and he looked happy once again, which just made her smile back. She guessed that he was just as glad as she was that Plasmas was done and over with.
"No problem, don't mention it. Heroes gotta stick together right?"[/u]
Starfire nodded happily. "You are correct. I am glad to have met another hero to fill in the absence of the other Titans. I am not sure I could've done that by myself. I have no idea how to repay you, though..." She asked, tilting her head. "Well, if are in need of anything, do not hesitate to call upon the Titans. We will be more than obliged to help you." The boy then scratched the back of his neck.

If you wish to stay secret, the titans or I will not tell, it is not right to do that to other fellow heroes."

"Like I said before, don't mention it. I was just doing my heroic duty, you don't have to pay me back at all. But I may just take you up on that offer one day if I ever need any help." He responded with a smile, flashing her a toothy grin and a thumbs up. He hadn't met anyone as nice as Starfire the entire time he had been living in Jump City. Now that he thought about it, why was he just now meeting a member of the Teen Titans anyway? That introduction was long overdue.
"Well, it is a pleasure to meet you, Kayaman. Tell me, if you are guardian of the city, why don't the Titans know of you? Do you not wish to be apart of the team? It is as you have said before, heroes stick together. Also, do not worry, you do not need to hide anything from us, if you are. If you wish to stay secret, the titans or I will not tell, it is not right to do that to other fellow heroes."
He was taken aback by her questions. Why hadn't the Titans ever heard of him? Then again, most times when he was about to save the day they would arrive before he could act, that made sense. But why hadn't he decided to try and join up with the Teen Titans yet? A super hero team was always better than a loner. He felt like he could trust her for some reason, he had no reason to doubt her word.
"I'm fairly new, that's why you've probably never heard of me. And it's not that I don't want to be apart of your team, I think you guys are great! I just never got my invitation, so I kinda decided to do my own thing. And as for my real name--" He pulled up his wrist and pressed the red button on his watch, his clothes returning back to his usual attire. "I'm Kevin, nice to meet you." He finished with a smile, holding out his hand for a shake.

Starfire returned his smile as he told her she didn't have to repay him back, but might just take her up on the offer. "Well, you are always more than welcome to. The Titans would be glad to help, as I have said before. after all, that is what the Titans are here for." She said as she began to fly. "Please wait a moment." She said flying off into the night sky. She was momentarily taking Plasmas to jail.
When she reached the prison, the guards were already waiting outside. Landing, she handed them over and they thanked. her. "Do not thank me, I am not the one who had brought him down." With that, she took back off leaving the guards confused. As she flew back, she was happy to have met another friend and bring down another villain, so began to do twirls and flips in the air as she laughed. This is most delightful! Finding the Kayaman again, she landed next to him. "I hope I have not kept you waiting."
"I'm fairly new, that's why you've probably never heard of me. And it's not that I don't want to be apart of your team, I think you guys are great! I just never got my invitation, so I kinda decided to do my own thing. And as for my real name--"[/u]
Kayaman then pressed a button.
"I'm Kevin, nice to meet you."[/u]
He then held out his hand and smiled, she returned the smile and took his hand, trying not to grip it too hard. "It is a pleasure to officially meet you, Kevin." Returening to his previous comments, she gave him a large smile. "I shall thank you on my behalf and of the rest of the Titans. You are great as well." She then reached into her pocket and grabbed her communicator, holding it out towards him. "As for your invitation, I hope you will accept this and become a full Titan. It'd be wonderful to have you as apart of the team."

Kevin nodded as he was asked to wait for a minute. He stood there mulling over what had just transpired. Not only did he save a pretty girl from a giant goo monster, but he revealed his secret identity as well! What was he thinking? Too late to have any regrets at this point, what was done was done. He stuck his hands in his pockets looking up at the sky, waiting for Starfire to return.
"Nah, that didn't take long at all. You're pretty fast, unlike all the other girls who've asked me to wait." He joked, chuckling softly at his own attempt at humor. He watched with curiousity as she fished something out of her pocket. He tilted his head as she pulled out a Titan communicator. "Really? You want me to become a Teen Titan?" He asked in disbelief. He slowly grabbed the item from her hands, feeling honored to even be considered as part of their elite squadron.

Starfire laughed a bit and smiled. "While, I am sure most girls that have asked you to wait cannot fly. I would be surprised if they could though. So far I only know a few others who can fly like Raven and I." She then tilted her head upwards as she began to think of the other Titans that could fly. there was her, of course, Raven, Argent, Bumblebee, Terra could fly, but only on a rock, Beast Boy could fly, only when he transformed into an animal that could fly though, Hotspot could fly, only using fire though, and the lest went on.
"Really? You want me to become a Teen Titan?"[/u]
Starfire turned her attention back to Kevin and smiled again. "Of course! You'd make an excellent Titan! I'm sure the rest of the team will be happy to have you apart of it as well! Oh, it is most fun at the tower! You must come and view some time, then you could meet the rest of the titans and do the hanging out with us!"
