"I used to go back at home, but then I just...stopped." Kasumi shrugged a bit. "I'll give you that, they probably do.. Multiple ones probably.." Probably mostly for the females.. I don't really see a male reading that kind of book unless they're completely clueless on dating.. ...... ... No, I'd probably look stupid reading one of those. I think it would be best if I just go headstrong in this situation... She turned her attention back to Fate as he told her his place was always open, looking in the other direction. Blushing, she looked away herself. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.." She laughed as he said the skittles would get jealous. "I think I'll manage. I don't think the candy will do much. I'm glad to hear I'd be the one getting the attention though."

Kasumi looked to the side as he told her he didn't want to force her to do anything, then looked back over. Turning to face him, she grabbed his hand with both of hers. "I'll try though, if it'll make you happy.." When he looked back at her and smiled, she did the same in return. She laughed again as he told her she hugged better than the candy. "Well, considering I have actual arms, I would hope so."

"The library is for nerds anyway," He said jokingly, "We're totally to cool to be nerds." Well, her answer was better than expected. He shrugged and nodded. He felt better putting it out there, knowing she was welcome at any time. "Oh, but Skittles are deadly. One time they were angry at me and tried to choke me," He said, "But we came to a compromise."

Hehehe. I 'member that day. Funny. ... We nearly died. It was still funny. ... Something clearly wrong with you. Yup, I could say the same for ya.

He felt her hands grabbed his and smiled. "You know, we've been here for a long time now and still haven't danced." He stood to his feet, still holding her hands. "My lady, will you please do me the honor of joining me?" The music from the inside was loud enough so they could hear. It just happened that one of those cheesy, slow songs was playing.

"Well, I'm glad to hear that neither you or me are nerds. Not that it would matter or not if you were a nerd, since you'd be the one with the girls crawling all over you instead of those idiotic, punk jocks. You'd be the best nerd anyone has ever seen!" Kasumi said with a large smirk as she moved her hands together, then made it into somewhat in the shape of a rainbow. She lifted her eyes a bit to the side and back down at him as he said that skittles were deadly. She still had the smile painted on her face though. "I see.. Well I'll be on my absolute best behavoir then to make sure I don't end up choking."

Kasumi listened as he said they have been up here for as long as they have and still haven't danced. He then stood up, while still holding her hands and asked if she would dance. "I'd be delighted too, good sir." She stood up as well. I don't really know how to dance though, but I'll do what I can. "And here I thought that dancing wasn't your thing."

"Yeah, jocks are pretty bad from what I seen on t.v.," He nodded, "Unfortunately, those girls would be late. I'm already taken." From what he seen in movies and televsion shows he wasn't missing out much. Kids bullying other kids and people just being jerks to each other. That was something he could do without. His best friend, Koopa, said that school was lame and only good for the eye candy. Japanese schoolgirls... Sweet. Not sweet. Sexy? No. Good lookin'? Yes, but I only have eyes for Kasumi. First yo' heart! Now ya have to give her yo' eyes!?

"Honestly, I was trying to be romantic. I never danced before in my life," He shrugged, "But it looks easy in the movies, right?" How hard was it to move your body to the music? He guessed it involved rhythm. Maybe he should have took those dance classes when Koopa offered.

"You watch T.V? I've never watched T.V. Didn't have the device back at home. I've seen one form those window things though. It doesn't see, interesting.. What exactly can it do besides show moving pictures?" Kasumi asked as she looked at him curiously. A smirk then grew on her face as she nodded at his next comment. "Exactly and if any of those girls do something that you do not like or move onto you, they will be getting a discussion from me.." She laughed mischievously and looked at him. "Also, it's not a threat, just a mere promise. Turning her attention back to him, she put her hands in the proper places for the music. I may not know how to dance, but I watched mom and dad dance from time to time and managed to at least get the postiotns down. "Shall we begin?"

Kasumi listened, smiled a bit, and raised her hand as he spoke. "I don't know how to dance either, so no worries!" She giggled a bit, then shrugged herself. "I don't know, like I said before, I've never watched T.V, that includes movies.." Now I feel like a complete moron.. I mean, T.V. is supposed to be common for a teenager, isn't it?! Well, so I've heard.. Come on though, a teenager that is fifteen years of age now has never seen a television show? Ugh! I'm, like, I don't know! Fifty years out of date! Stupid, non-electric dimension! She then began to turn red for some reason and glad it was dark, hoping that Fate wouldn't notice. Turning her attention back to him, she put her hands in the right position for the particular piece of music playing. I may not know how to dance, but I watched mom and dad dance every now and then. From that I at least got the positions down. "Shall we begin?"

She had never watched television!? Maybe she was more shelter than he was. He had watched television since he could remember. Even when he was an experiment they allowed it since it involved his powers. Just using his mind he could turn the channels, make volume louder or lower. Over time he started to learn new tricks like how to make his voice blare out of the television speakers. "Besides, showing moving pictures... Uh, it makes you laugh. There's thousands of t.v. shows ranging from comedy to drama. Sports to soaps," He answered, "I prefer to be outside though. But whenever i'm resting I don't mind watching something funny. You'll have to watch t.v. with me some time."

She seemed to know what she was doing so he would let her lead in the dancing. Ya put yo' hands on her butt. That's what that dude did in that one movie. And he caught a hand to the face! No thank you sir. But that's what girl's butts are there for! Besides, she yo' girlfriend. Seriously, do you think about the stuff you say? Yo' point? My point is-- Forget it. It's hopeless. He knew he wasn't going to take Hope's advice. That would get him killed. He was a little hesitant at first, but he placed his hands on her waist and started to move with the music. This wasn't so hard. He then notice that she turned red and quickly jumped back, thinking that he done something wrong. "Sorry, sorry! I didn't mean to touch your waist. I mean I did, but I thought that was what I was suppose to do," He said, lowered his head, "Sorry. Stupid movies. I should have known better than to rely on a movie for info."

Kasumi listened to Fate's description of T.V. "Hm.. Truth be told, it doesn't sound very interesting.. I could find all of that in real life instead of inside a box.. Like you! I'd rather be outside.. I wouldn't mind testing it out sometime with you though." She said with a smile. "So, um, what kind of place do you live in? Is it a nice place?" She thought for a second. "Wait.. You told me you didn't have a job, so how are you able to live somewhere? Have you lied?" She asked with now a smug grin again.I wonder how well of a liar Fate is.. Hm, well, I suppose if it does happen to be a lie, then I guess he's a pretty good one or I'm just really gullible.

Kasumi saw that Fate seemed to be thinking for a minute and then began to become hesitant, bu finally placed a hand on her waist. She chuckled a bit. It's cute when he's hesitant. Oh gosh.. I sound weird now..They then began to move to the music, but suddenly Fate disappeared and began to apologize. She just stared at him with her hands still in the air, giving him a confused look. "Huh? No, don't apologize, that is what your supposed to do... Why are you apologizing in the first place?" She walked over to him and put her hands back in the appropriate places. "Well, whatever movie you watched was right, you were fine.."

He rubbed the back of his head and laughed a little as she asked about his place and how he had the money for it if he didn't have a job. "No, I couldn't lie to you... Unless the Skittles were forcing me to." Still, the truth was a little embarrassing. He should just change the subject, but then maybe she keep asking. Or worst, do want of those sad faces. He knew he couldn't bare something like that so it was best that he spoke. "I'm something like a modern day Robin Hood... Except I keep the money for myself. My abilites also allow me to control anything electronic or electrical powered, including ATMs. I just do my little magic trick and get the money. I only take from the rich though, the people who want miss it." He only took a few hundred from each. What was they going to do with all that money anyway? "With that money I got me a suite here in town. I have to pay a lot more than everyone, but it can't be helped. The owner lies and says I'm his son so we don't cause trouble." He thought to himself for a moment. Did she know who Robin Hood was? She has read books so she must have.

Ya an idiot! I told ya to put yo' hands on her-- I'm not doing that! Shut up! Someone's didn't have his nap today! Ya don't have to be a meanie 'bout it!

[He laughed at himself. Man, he had to look extra lame now. As she walked back to him he placed his hand back on her waist. "Sorry. I just thought I did something wrong because you turned red." She was blushing, bur he was sure he didn't say anything cute or funny. Maybe it was his purple eyes.

"Those skittles of yours sound forceful, they don't deserve you." Kasumi said as she laughed a bit. She listened as he explained how he was able to get a place to stay. "Wow, that's pretty....Smart.. I'd probably never have thought of that.. But, of course, Robin Hood didn't take from ATM machines. A suite? Sounds fancy. Never really been to a hotel either, so I'm kind of, stupid, when it comes to those things.. I don't understand though, why does the owner say your his son?" She asked. I really need to know more about these kind of things, I feel unbelievably stupid.. I hardly know what a T.V. is or does and I don't know what a suite is! Perhaps I should go to school here.. Ick, I'd rather not..

Kasumi gave him sort of a strange look as he laughed, then told her he thought he did something wrong since she blushed. "Ah, so you noticed.. Well, damn.." She bit her lip a bit. "I wasn't blushing because of something you did, I was just thinking of how stupid I am and got embarrassed for some reason.. Sorry, didn't mean to make ya' flip or anything." She said with a smile. I didn't even include the fact that the best guy I met is dancing with me.. and is actually wants to be with me.. She then looked down as she began to blush deeper.

"Skittles are scary, but they can be sweet and good at times... Sometimes." So she did know who Robin Hood was. That would good because he wasn't sure if he could explain it well. "It's just another room in the hotel except way better! I would explain what it was, but I can't. I'd just have to show you one. day." He nodded and smiled. "Well, i'm too young to live by myself as the law says. If they were to find out I was living by myself they could send me into foster care and the hotel i'm staying at would get into a lot of trouble. So it's easier and in both our interest if I just say I am the owner's son."

Ya still angry at me? No, Hope. I was never angry at you to begin with. Oh... 'Kay. So ya gonna put your hands-- Around your neck if I could. Tsk! Tsk! I hope ya don't talk 'round children like this. Ima shame!

"Oh, I see. Well, red looks beautiful on you to," He said reffering to her blushing, "I like it when you blush. Guess that means i'm doing a good job." He laughed slightly as she started to blush deeper. "So would we consider this our first date?" He asked, "Or should I take you out to like dinner or something?"

Kasumi rolled her eyed and looked down at him with a smile. "Maybe to you they are scary. I don't think that Hope would find candy scary, right Hope? ...I'm talking to your head.. Well don't I just feel like a major retard now." She said as she put a hand on her face as she looked down. "I'd be delighted to see it one day." She said as she smiled in her hand. "That makes more sense now. It'd be bad if you got adopted and had to move away, I'd have to see you less and less if at all." Of course, I'd probably end up tracking him down, but still.. That kinda sounds stalkerish.. I have issues..

Kasumi looked back up at him as he complimented her again. "Oh, so now you compliment me on how red looks on me, even though the front side of my hair is red?" She asked playfully. "Kidding. Thank you." She said as she put her head on his shoulder. "It shouldn't be difficult to do a good job, like I told you earlier, I'm a sucker for things like from people like you." She listened, half to his heartbeat and half to his words. "Hm, dinner sounds nice, but anything really is fine with me as long as it's with you."

She's talkin' to me... Directly? I would believe so. She totally got the hots for me. I didn't even havta spit game. Yeah, that's excatly what she's doing boss. I never know when ya bein' sarcastic!

He laughed at her slightly. It was cute that she was actually trying to talk to Hope. Now Fate knew that Hope wasn't going to be silent though. She had just fed Hope's ego just by talking to him, but Fate didn't mind. "You're alright. He can hear you," He responded, "He'd marry candy if he could... But that make him a cannibal since i'm sure he'll eat the candy right after." He nodded in response to all that she said after. He didn't mind her seeing his place. He would actually love it. He wasn't sure how she would feel about him visiting her home since it was a cave... "Alright boss. You're welcome at my place anytime. Then maybe I could see your place... If you want."

He laughed as she teased him. "No ma'am. I thought that part of your hair was... I got nothing," He waved his hand over her head, "Look into my eyes. Don't remember anything about me not noticing your hair." Fortunately, that wasn't true. He did notice everything. Even that rock bracelet she had on her left wrist. As she placed her head on his shoulder Fate simply smiled. "Alright boss. Dinner it is. But of course you're paying," He said, the last bit being a joke.

[Kasumi]

Kasumi smiled as he laughed and sighed of relief. "Well, that makes me feel a bit better, that he can hear me, I mean.. I actually sorta feel bad for the candy that would end up marrying him. He'd have to be arrested for murder. That, or have a whole army of candy go after him." She said with a light chuckle. "Awesome, can't wait! Then again, it is your place, who knows whtat it'll be like. It could be so clean or dirty my eyes will melt from my head, then I couldn't see your pretty purple eyes anymore. Tragic!" She shook her head for a minute, but looked at him as he said maybe he could see hers, which made her shrug a bit. "If you want, it's just a cave, don't know why you would wanna see it.. But if it floats your boat, it's cool with me." She gave him another smile.

Kasumi laughed at him as he tried to come up with something for her hair. "Ah, out of excuses are we? What a pity, that might just get you in trouble.. Normally a female would be offended if a male hadn't noticed her hair, it's what perfects our looks." She said with another laugh. Her face then went blank as he said they would go to dinner, but she was to pay. A part of her knows he was joking, but she actually believed it this time. "I can't!! I'm broke!! Ah! I can't even get a proper meal for one, how do you expect me to pay for both?!" She began to freak out a little, sure, but you can't really blame her. She then felt like a light bulb went off. "Wait! You can cook, can't you? I mean I highly doubt the owner would cook for you, so you have to cook for yourself, right? And you want me to see your house, right? So why don't we go there for dinner!" She smiled for a second, then slammed her head down. "I'm sorry, I'm inviting myself in.. I'm sorry!! Ah!" She slammed her hands to her face and closed her eyes tight. I'm horrible, I feel so bad now.. Nn...

"No, he can't get arrested. We share this body. You know what they do to pretty boys like me in prison?" He shrugged, "I'd tell you. They make the pretty boys do laps around the jail courtyard!" He thought to himself for a moment. He wouldn't call his place excatly messy, but it wasn't clean. He cleaned up after himself when eating. It was just his clothes was all over the place. Not dirty clothes. All clean. He was just too lazy to put them in the dressers and hang them up in the closets. It was also easier to find what he wanted to wear that way. He would have to fix that before she had a chance to see his place. "Psh! A boat! I don't need those I walk on water," He said jokingly, "But I want to see. You'll just have to protect me from the bears, deers, and whatnots."

"In trouble, ay? You're not going to punish me by forcing me to eat skittles," He smiled, "Or worst... Make me spend an entire day with you." When she went into her rant, Fate tried to hold his laughter in. O-M-G! Ya both complete nerds! Ya perfect for each other! Now put me outta my misery. Once she finished Fate hugged her. "You're too great. You don't have to pay for anything. I was joking. And of course I can cook! My place for dinner sounds nice... And don't be sorry. Invite yourself in as many times as you'd like. I don't mind the company."

Kasumi laughed as he told her they make pretty boys like him do laps around the courtyard. "Aw, but I'm sure a fit-looking guy such as yourself can pull off five laps without breaking a sweat. I do agree though, you certainly are a pretty boy, but I always thought it was sort of an insult for boys and men and whatnot to be called pretty..?" She asked as she gave him a confused look. "Oh, so you walk on water now? Well, I certainly hope that power of yours doesn't act up." She teased a bit, like she had been whenever he joked around. "Heh, there's no bears out there, hardly any, at least.. There is deer, but they're harmless.. I'll do my best to protect you from scorpions though as well as the poisonous plants."

"Well, they both sound so bad, but I think the second one is the worst. Your skittles will just have to live without being in your stomach." She said with a smirk. Fate then pulled her into a hug and told her she was too great, which confused her, and said that dinner at his house was. Also to invite herself in as much as she wants, but she shook her head. "Absolutely not. First of all, that would be rude and second, I wouldn't want to walk in if you had someone over. I might just end up catching you if you cheat, and trust me, I don't think you'd like what I'll do to you, but yet, you look like a dude that wouldn't stay with one girl. Although, I know you will, because earlier you told me you wanted to devote your heart to just one." She thought for a second, noticing she was blanking something out. Smiling, she looked up at him. "I wouldn't mind your company either."
