"Yeah, you deserve it. Even if you don't know it yet. Everyone does things that aren't good and makes mistakes. As long as you learn from those mistakes and strive to be something greater you deserve every bit of happiness you can obtain." That was something he strongly believe in. So why was he so hard on himself at times? He knew he coudln't change anything about the past. That was over and done with. It was the future he was worried about... Worried about what he might become. When she placed her hand on his cheek he snapped back to reality. "Thank you."

Relax and let it come to ya. Ya doin' good. Perfect. Thanks coach. Ya should treat yo'self to some candy and cookies! Nice try, but no.

"Better than amazing, huh? Well, thank you again," He smiled, "Are we going to try and out compliment each other now?" As her hand met his, Fate simply smiled. But as she started to move closer his heart started to race. Beating so fast it felt as if it wasn't going to jump out of his chest. Still, he closed his eyes also and the two lips met, kissing.

When Kasumi head that, she almost began to cry. She didn't, but almost did. The towns she had been banished from were never forgiving and didn't even try to listen to her apologies, nor let her try to make up for the damage she had caused. Even back at home she was hated by most and for the most ridiculous reasons. Her home was strict and that's why she never really like it there, but either way, now she had felt like she was forgiven, and that meant more to her than most could imagine.

"Better than amazing, huh? Well, thank you again, are we going to try and out compliment each other now?"

Kasumi smiled a bit, but didn't say anything since their lips were still connected. After staying like that a little while longer, she finally separated herself from Fate, mostly because she had forgotten to breathe, but also, she was unsure of how he would react to that. Looking at him though, she smiled again. "Perhaps we are trying to out compliment each other.. Seems like it could be fun. Let's see what other kind of remarks you have hidden in that mind of yours."

"Yo--I--Like... I got nothing. I'm.... speechless. The good speechless... Well, apparently I am not speechless since I am talking, but I don't know what to say... Not that I don't want to talk to you. I love talking to you which mean I shouldn't be speechless right now, but I am... Give me a second so that my mind and body can catch up with my heart. Yeah, I'm going to shut up and enjoy the moment."

Well, ya was cool... It was a nice run. I'm such a loser. Yup, but she seem to like losers. Stay easy. Put it together marshmellow.

He took a moment to calm down. He was over excited. He felt like he could fly. If he would have known this was what it was like to kiss someone he would have been done it. Still, he was glad it happen to be her for his first kiss. He tugged at his goggles for a moment with his free hand and smiled. "You made me lose what little cool I had," He said, "Congrats. It was suppose to be impossible to do that." Clearly, his mind was going through a maze right now. The cheesy remarks just didn't seem to flow right out. All he could think about was her and that kiss.

"We don't have to get married now, do we?" He said jokingly, "It would be hard to support you without a real job." Okay, now his mind was starting to function right. He was regaining his "cool" back. He laced his fingers through hers and smiled again. He could honestly say he had smiled more in this day then he had in an entire year. "Tch! I didn't even have to fall for you," He said, "That's a good thing. Hospitals are extremely expensive nowadays."

Kasumi just sat there and blinked at Fate as he began speaking, then tried not to laugh as he was trying to get himself together. I take it he's never had a kiss before.. Then again, I can't talk either because neither have I. Well, either way, I think he's feeling just as happy as I am. The smile on her face didn't move an inch and it sort of felt permanent to her. She missed smiling anyway. She used to smile a lot, but when she moved away she didn't have anyone, no one to have fun with. Therefore, she always had a frown, but now Fate was with her and was loving every second of his company, loving it so much that that alone could make her smile all day.

Kasumi turned her attention back to Fate as he began to speak again. "Wow, I didn't know I could do something so difficult. And it only took one kiss. Perhaps I am not so bad after all." She had a small chuckle afterward as she rested her head back on her knee. He then asked if they had to get married and she laughed louder. "As cool as that sounds, no, we don't. But, gee, if I were you, I'd be looking for a good-paying job pretty soon." Her smile, once again, turned into a smirk. She looked down at their hands as he laced the, together, then back up as he began to speak again. "Aw, but I think it's cute when you fall. Well, I'll just have to wait 'til next time." She then realized she still barely knew anything about Fate. "So, why don't you tell em about more about yourself, or is your information classified?"

"It seems that you may be my only weakness," He nodded, "Just think what two kisses might do to me or three or seven." Who would have imagined the first friend he made would actually turn into the first relationship he'd would have. They were in a relationship or was these one of those one night stand thingys? He preferred the relationship, but either way he was going to try to enjoy himself and continue to try and entertain her. Then he paused when she wanted to no more about himself. It was only logical if they were going to have a relationship, right?

Run! I betcha she's one of those abusive, clingy, I-don't-want-ya-to-have-any-life-outside-of-me, bossy type girlies! Because you know everything about girls. Is that sarcasm? Anyway! I'm right! First she finds out stuff 'bout ya then use it against ya! She's like Sarah Connor! ... We're not watching anymore movies.

"Well, i'm 5'9" in height. I like long walks on beaches... Only on Tuesday nights though. Uh, I like girls, you especially. I loved that kiss. My eyes aren't really purple... There violet, but purple sounds more manly. If you look at my teeth too long you get blinded by the light. I hate reality television." He smiled. He figured she would want a serious answer and he would have to tell her someday. Best to get it out of the way before they had got too serious. "Alright. Seriously now. I don't know where I was born nor do I know my real parents. Spent most of my years as a lab experiment, but I turn out okay. I'm not crazy, but my other personalities are slightly insane..." He was a little embarrassed to say all that and wouldn't blame her if she left now. He sighed as he held up his other hand. His eyes went from its purple color to crimson as tiny bolts of crimson electricity danced around his hand. "And I got special abilities," He added, "Shocking, right?"

"You're only one, huh? Somehow, I have some doubts about that." Kasumi then got closer as he said what two or seven kisses could do to him. "Why not find out?" She then kissed him again, but made this one not as long as the first. "There's two. Shall I go ahead and do three, or shall we wait?" She then put her forehead on his for a minute or so, then went back to her original position. She listened as he began to share information about himself that wasn't particularly aiming at, but memorized every word anyway. "Shall I look away before I'm blinded since you seem to be smiling so much?" She teased.

Fate then began to explain more about himself, the stuff that she wanted to know ad the smile plastered on her face began to edge down as she gripped his hand a bit more. "I am sorry to here that.. It must've been difficult for you. It still must be difficult for you." He must be pretty scarred.. Well, his heart at least.. Even if I could help, I would never be able to take all the pain away.. "So, you have a split personality? Interesting.. I've never met someone like that before.. I'm sure they're just as fun as you." Her smile returned, but vanished as he sighed and put his other hand up. His eyes then turned crimson and the hand raised flickered with electricity asking if it was shocking. "I'll admit, the fact that your pretty eyes change color is shocking, but not your powers.." She then also raised her other hand as it caught fire. "..Considering I have some of my own.. And the ability to control fire isn't the only thing."

Of course he enjoyed the second kiss as much as he enjoyed the first. He smiled, feeling like one of those young school boys with a crush. "I've been told relationships aren't good. It's apparent now the person who told me that obviously wasn't getting any kisses." He could get use to the kissing. Actually, he was already use to it. He nodded his head in response to her teasing. "I would hate for you to never get the chances to see my stunning looks," He said jokingly.

He was surprised that she was willing to accept that. Usually, the different personalities scared people away. "There's only two. One is very childish. The other is... He isn't good." Fate didn't mind having Hope. Hope never tried to take control over the body and even if he did Fate knew he would never hurt anyone. More than likely he would have to worry about him eating too much and doing stupid things. As for Glory, he went around looking for fights to prove he was the perfect being. But Fate had kept him locked away for years, but he knew he was still there, waiting. "It's difficult, but I push through. It'd be easy now that I know someone accepts me. Thank you."

He was surprised to see she had powers of her own. "Plot twist." This was amazing! "I have other abilites, but electricity is my main. Anyway, tell me more about you?"

"Indeed, it is such a pity that they hadn't experienced such a wonderful thing." Kasumi arched an eyebrow as he spoke again, but still smiled. "Yes, I know if I look away my world will end here and now." She laughed a bit and looked down, but then her smile faded as she looked at him. "Fate... Am, am I just going to be someone you spend one night with, then act like we've never met the next day? Am I just going to be a girl you spend time with, then suddenly just throw aside once you find someone new?" She then looked back up at him with sad eyes.

"I see.. So what are their names? You know, so I know which one to stay away from and which is safe..? They have names, right?" Kasumi asked, tilting her head. I wonder what Fate's definition of "not so good" is? That could be anything.. Hm.. She snapped back out of her train of thought as Fate began talking again, telling her that it will be easier for him now and thanking her. "No problem, it's what I'm here for. Well, somewhat. If I didn't accept you, I'd be one heartless bitch, now wouldn't I?" She then smirked.

"So, electricity is your main? Hm.. I don't really have a main power.. I don't usually use mine often.." Fate then asked if she would tell him more about her. "Me? Well, let's see.." I pray he won't leave.. "I was born in a dimension called the Kaji Okami's, or, Fire Wolves. Not really a brilliant name.. And I was actually a daughter of a full-blooded wolf and fire demon, ironically. My hair was actually natural black back then, but I dyed the front side to resemble my mother more.. When I was about ten or so, my "Clan", was attacked and we suffered major losses. My mother was one of those amongst the ones that were murdered and my father was kidnapped. The freakin' head geezer refused to send any help for the ones kidnapped, so I acted on my own, saving everyone but only to get banished from my home lands.. Every town after that I got banished from as well, until I came here. Surprisingly I've been here for as long as I have.."

When her smiled faded Fate's heart skipped a beat. She must have realize that this might not work out... This relationship between the two of them. But he was wrong. She thought he was going to leave her. His first reaction was for a witty comments, but now wasn't that time. Fortunately, he knew when a situations called for seriousness. His eyes turned back to their original eye color as the electricity faded also from around his hand. He placed both his hand on her shoulders and looked her directly in the eyes. "No... I'll stay with you todays. I'll be here tomorrows that way we can both remember yesterdays. My heart is yours to break or wear a jewelery."

That was so... Lame? Is that what you're going to say? ... Beautiful. Seriously, if I could cry I be pullin' one of yo' cards and ballin' my eyes out. ... I don't cry... A lot. Yeah, whatever. And i'm not childish! Tell her I think she's hot!!!

"Uh, Hope. He's the childish one. He thinks your hot. Uh, Glory... is on 'punishment.' He's the bad boy. And I wouldn't say you wouldn't call you heartless. I would completely understand if you left now. Of course I want you to stay though." With Kasumi here he had now had a purpose. A purpose to keep Glory locked away so that he couldn't hurt anyone. He planned on clinging to that purpose. He listened to her carefully. Did she say another deminsion? That was new to Fate. Still, he nodded. "Sorry, for your lost. Losing a mother figure is never easy." He paused "If they happen to banish you here i'll be right beside... Of course after I get my Skittles."

Kasumi looked back at Fate as he put his hands on her shoulders and obviously looked her in the eyes. She listened intently as he told her basically he wouldn't leave and his heart was hers to either break or wear as jewelry. Her eyes widened and she looked down, only to close them tightly and clench her teeth. Then, in a quick movement, her arms were wrapped tightly around his waist with her head on his chest. "You really do know how to woo a girl.." She chuckled lightly as a tear rolled out of her eye.

"Uh, well, tell Hope I said thanks.. I hope this Glory stays in punishment. He isn't able to bring harm to you, right? Because if you die then so does he.." She then looked up at him, confused now. "Why would I leave? Because you have a split personality? Don't be ridiculous. It's going to take a hell of a lot more than that to get rid of me.. Not saying you can't have your personal space or anything." She then put her head back down and thought for a second, then sighed. Alright, I've decided, he's told me something about himself that he probably didn't want to talk about, so I'll tell him a secret of mine, but I'll just drop a big hint.. "Hey.. I want you to do something for me, okay?" She stopped for a second, then went on. "If I use my fire too much, I want you to leave, okay? you gotta promise me you will.." She then felt him nod and he apologized for the loss f her mother. "Yeah.. But I still have one of my parents still alive, or, so I believe.. Either way, I was going to lose her anyway.. We may be demons, but we're not immortal. Not to mention that I at least knew my mother, unlike you.. you've had it much rougher than I had.." She didn't mean to compare histories, but it was true to her. In her mind, Fate had it much worse than she did. She looked up at him as he began to speaking again, but then laughed and lightly shoved him. "I see how it is!now! You care for the skittles more than me.!" She then turned away and pretended to cry

Of course he wrapped his fragile arms around her when she wrapped her arms around his waist and placed her head on his chest. It was funny how such a small action such as this gave someone so much strength. He felt as if he could take on the whole world, protect her from anything that would harm her. He kissed her on top of her head and held her tighter. "You gaze into my eyes and fall under my control. I could say anything and you'd love it," He said jokingly, "Anyway, on to more pressing matters... You smell great!"

"Yeah, we all share this body so if I get hurt they feel it also. If I were to die they go bye-bye too. But I got full control." He wasn't surprised when she said that she won't leave him. He should have expected it. But when she asked him to leave her if shee used fire too much he sighed. "I like fire though. It really brings out the color of my eyes," He said, "But like you said, it's going to take more than that to get rid of me." When she was talking about their past he just nodded. The past was the past. It was done with. Even if she when through the same things as Fate, they would still have different experiences. They were two different people. When she shoved him he laughed lightly. "No not more.... I care for you both excatly the same," He said jokingly.

"You gaze into my eyes and fall under my control. I could say anything and you'd love it."[/u]

"Heh, what's your point? You don't have to control me, I'd do anything if you wanted me too.." Kasumi said with a smile. It wasn't a lie either, if he wanted her to jump in front of a bullet, she would. I hope that doesn't sound strange... "Besides, even for the short time we've been talking, I thought you would've figured out that I'm a sucker for words like that." She then laughed as he told her she smelled good. "Thanks, I'm glad to hear, I don't see how that it though considering I sleep in a cave everyday."

"Well, that's good, I'm glad yo have control. Not saying it wouldn't be fun to meet Hope, I just don't want to see you became, not good because of Glory.." Kasumi then looked up at him as he sighed. When he finished, she shook her head. "First of all, your eyes are pretty enough right now, I'm sure they'll be better when the sun hits them though.. Second of all, I didn't mean leave leave, I meant leave the area.." She then huffed a sigh herself. "Should I just go ahead and tell you instead of giving you a riddle?" She then smiled. "I can't tell you how relieved I am to hear it'll be difficult to get rid of you. That means no matter how many times I screw up, you just might stay.. Depending on how bad the mistake was.." He then laughed a bit and told her he loved them the same. Her pretend crying stopped and she looked at him, smiling. "Oh, so I'm no better than a thing of candy?" She was joking, of course, but was also challenging him in her own little way.

"Wait, I'm suppose to do whatever you tell me," He said, "It says it in the bool of relationships." She lived in a cave? That was extremely new to the boy. It did make sense now that he thought about it. She was banished from her home and was still a child. Too many people wouldn't give a child shelter. Since he had been to America he had been moving from place to place, but he was stationary here. He had himself a nice little suite that he stayed in. How does someone as young as him get a suite? Money. It was funny what people could do with it. How did he get the money? Well, he considered himself a modern day Robin Hood. All he needed was to find an ATM machine and bam! With his powers over all these electronic he could withdraw money from accounts. Of course he only took what he needed and only from those he knew wouldn't miss that moneyy. "Caves are creepy. You like it there?"

He had a feeling why Kasumi would want him to run away. He had a hard time controling his powers, but the years of experimenting helped him to keep them at bay. It was one of the only good things that came out of that situation. "So we learn how to control your power. Practice makes perfect, right?" He didn't mind trying to help, especially someone he cared for. He tilted his head to the side, smiling. "Uh, you're slightly better than a thing of candy?" He said, "But candy doesn't have better kisses. Those chocolates are just too small."

[Kasumi]

"There's nothing wrong with breaking rules, I do it, and I'm sure you have too. Besides, the last time I went to the library, I didn't see no relationship book." Kasumi smiled smug again and sat back into the ball she was in earlier. She hasn't been in the library in years, so she could be wrong, but it could also be a joke and that's how she was taking it. She was going to feel like a major idiot if it was a book. What was the last book I read, anyway? She then looked out in front of her and went deep into thought, trying to remember back to when she did read. She jumped as Fate asked her if she liked it in the caves and said they were creepy, making her laugh a bit." Eh, they're not that creepy, much better than that abandoned mansion around here.. I stayed there for a night and hated it." Well, it wasn't a complete bust.. After all, I did meet Yuki there.. "I wouldn't say I like it, but it's better than nothing. Not saying that it's bad to be sleeping under the stars or anything, but it really sucks when it rains, snows, or begins to hail and not have anything to stop it from hitting you."

Kasumi looked at him as he told her to learn her power, actually saying "we", but if she did, she wouldn't want him near, then said practice makes perfect. "I've tried practicing though, multiple times and it only led me to get banished.. After the last town, I decided to give up on my fire power and just use my other one.." She shrugged, released herself from her ball and crossed her legs on the ledge. Kasumi watched as he tilted his head and smiled. He told her she was slightly better than candy and that the candy though didn't have better kisses, making her chuckle slightly. "Well, that's better, I suppose. At least I can do one thing better than the candy."

"Honestly, I can say I never been to a library," He said truthfully, "But I wouldn't doubt that they had some type of book on relationships." That was something he was deprived of as a child. His whole childhood was mostly spent trying to become this perfect weapon. Was he jealous of other kids? Somewhat. He did have a short time with Christian that made up for it. If only she was here now. He did feel bad that she slept in a cave, but what could he do about it. They had just met recently and it was a big step in a relationship to move in with your partner, not that he would mind. They were also young, some would say too young. "Well, my place is always open if you need somewhere to stay," He said, looking in the other direction, "But my Skittles might get jealous of all the attention i'd be giving you."

"Alright boss. I don't want to force you to do anything." He looked down as the cars continued to go rushing by. Then back at her with a smile upon his face. He believed she eventually get her powers down. Even if she didn't it was something that he could live with. No one was perfect or so he was told. "You also hug ten times better than candy."
