Starfire had just been wandering around. She had nothing to do. Silkie was sleeping, Beast Boy was, somewhere.. Cyborg she didn't know, Raven didn't want to hang out, and she didn't know where Robin was. She sighed. Everything seemed so dull for the alien girl, too dull for her liking.
The red-headed girl walked out of the Titans tower, walking around it. Where have my friends gone? They don't seem to be around as much. Especially Robin.. Her green eyes examined the big T for a minute longer, than she walked over to the lake surrounding it as she looked down into it. Memories of her and her friends seemed to reflect onto the water, and the ones with Robin seemed more vivid then others. Then, the image of Slade beating him to death and Robin's dead body lying there went into her mind, remembering what Michael had said. She gasped, and sent a starbolt into it, then remembering it was just water. That's correct.. That's in the future.. either way, I do not wish for that to happen!

Fate Lingod eyes slowly open only to find himself surrounded by water. He floated on his back staring up at the dawn sky. What was he doing? Ya know water isn't our bigger fan... Just puttin' that out there if ya forgot. Yes, Fate hated the water too. Too much of it and he couldn't use his abilities. But he wasn't searching for a fight. He was searching for answers. He would be marrying Kasumi and he had to know some things before he sealed it. It wasn't that he was unsure about her. He did truly love her. He was more unsure about himself. Fate couldn't just stay with Kasumi knowing that Glory was still inside him. That Glory wanted to crush everything Fate loved most. Ya'know, a boat would have been nice instead of tryin' to swim... Just puttin' that out there too. [/color] Fate attention turned to the shore he longed for when he heard a splash. Someone was here waiting for him? This was the Teen Titans' Tower. If he explained himself he was sure they would be reasonable. He swim to shore, pulling himself out of the water, and started to walk toward the figure. It wasn't until he was a good ten feet away when he realize that it was Starfire. No, Fate didn't know her personally. He just kept up with the media and such things. "Sorry to invade. I mean no harm. I'm just hear to ask someone a question," Fate said, "I've gather information and I've been lead to believe that there's someone here from the future, correct?"[/blockquote]

Starfire shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts from anything that had to do with the future. It wasn't something she wanted to think of, even though she knew she'd have to confront it sometime before it was too late, and before Michael or Robin went out on their own to try and stop him alone. She was also worried about what would happen to them if one of them had died. What would the future be like if Michael died? Or how would things turn up if Robin was the one to die? These questions haunted the backspaces of her mind.
She was lost in though when she heard water splash around, as if someone was getting out of the water. she looked over to see a wet boy walking over to her, apologizing for intruding, saying he meant no harm and asked a question. "Do not worry about coming here, it is alright. We don't get many visitors." She told him with a smile. She then nodded, addressing his question. "That is correct. His name is Michael. Why do you ask?"

So it was true. Someone was here from the future. Was the even possible? Hell, anything possible. 'Member we shoot lightnin' bolts, we died and somehow came back... Nuff said. Okay, so it wasn't that hard to believe. Fate rubbed the back of his head, nevously, as the water dripped from his clothes. He was drenched. He honestly hadn't thought about how he would get back to the other side when nightfall... He would figure something out.
He figured that he would give Starfire a straight answer. There was no reason for Fate to beat around the bush. But now that Fate had a chance to think this was a stupid idea. What was the chances of the Michael even know if Fate or Kasumi exist? There had to be millions of people and Fate and Kasumi where just two of them. "I-- It's--Nevermind," Fate lowered his head, "Sorry to have bothered you, Ms. Starfire." Fate let out a deep breath before turning back to the lake.
