Starfire's smile grew larger as he nodded and smiled back at her. "I am truly sorry you did not have a pleasant childhood, but things are different now. That is in the past.. Or, future, but either way, we are alive now and until we find Slade, we should enjoy it. It is the best thing to do until we find a lead." She said looking at him seriously, hoping she was helping in some way or another. She didn't want to bring up anything painful again, so stopped there and didn't press on. I do hope that he can forget it all for now. I do not wish to see him so full of despair again like he was a few minutes ago.. I do not want my son to cry again.. Okay, so she had just found out she had a son and never actually gave birth, not to mention they just met, well, she just met him, but Starfire has a protective, motherly heart. It was her nature and really just her personality.
"I guess we could try volly ball mother"[/u]
Starfire then began to smile again and grabbed his hand, pulling him. "Then come! We shall go to the roof and volley the ball!" She said as she flew into the air again, still holding his arm and flew up the stairs until the reached the door. Opening it, sh squinted slightly as the sun went into her eyes, but let go f him and ran out. "Follow! Let us have the fun!" She said as she turned around and began to wave at him, beckoning for him to follow.
