Punk Meets Punk (Sanosuke)

Reikawa stared up at the ceiling of her apartment sitting on her sofa. It was burning up in her room and she was trying to decide whether or not she should open up the window, but she didn't want to have to listen to everyone yelling below. She sighed out and stuck out her tongue. Bena isn't here this week.. he went off on that science trip. Ugh! Why does he have to major in science and math, then I could understand most of the conversations we have. She looked at her tongue and decided what she would do that day. Well I'm hungry, and bored. So I might as well just go and get a tongue piercing and a bite to eat. Unless I find a date for the night. She pushed herself up and brushed out her hair. She ran her fingers through and nodded. "As soft as every!" She laughed and then looked in her box of hair accessories. "I think I'll choose the red ribbon today." She pulled it out and pulled her hair back letting some fall down to her back. She tied it in a knot and looked in the mirror to make sure it was okay. "Ah! I can't wear that!" She ran into her closet and pulled out a tight red shirt with black lining around the bottom and sleeves. One last look in the mirror she grabbed her keys and went out the door.

She looked over at Bena's door hoping to see him, wishing her safe luck out on the streets but sighed not seeing him. She went down the stairs and went out the front door. "Let's see, the tattoo and piecing place is down that way, and ALRIGHT a good restaurant too!" She began walking down the sidewalk and saw a girl with a guy holding hands walking beside each other. She batted her eyelashes at the guy and he winked back. She grinned and the guy's girlfriend turned to him. "What was that!? Why did you just wink at her!? YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME AREN'T YOU!?" She didn't even give him anytime to answer back as tears came to her eyes. She snorted to herself. Wow, what a cry-baby. Walking down the sidewalk farther she saw a guy with a lip piercing looking at her. She gave him a flirty look and he seemed to want to come toward her but then took off toward the direction of his friends as they called him. "Well sigh! Guess that's two dates I won't be getting tonight." She began to walk closer to the store when she ran into someone and fell to the ground. "Ow! Augh!" She looked up to see who it was.

Sanosuke walked around town, bored as ever as well as hungry. What's new? He was actually hoping to eat Kenshin's food, but he was gone and hadn't come back. He really wanted to go and fins Kenshin to give him a piece of his mind, but he was too hungry to. He clutched his stomach when it growled. Dammit.. What does a guy have to do to get some food around here?! He stopped walking as his attention drew to a bar. What he immediately thought was.. Bar= drunks, Drunks=Fights, Fights= More than likely, money. Money=Food! He stared for a few minutes, then walked inside. Won't hurt... Couple fights or so could get us some money and lord knows we need some..

When Sanosuke entered, he got some weird looks, but ignored them and walked over to the counter, taking a seat as he listened to the loud noises of the bar. A little while later, some loud drunks came and sat a few seats away. Perfect, now he had to just wait until he got annoyed with them. Only then, some more drunks came and sat on the other side of him, and they were more intoxicated than the guys to his left. The time it took for him to get annoyed increased to major extremes and before you know it he was glaring to the right at the men, ready to pick a fight. "Hey.. Would you drunken idiots mind keeping it down? Some people don't want to listen to your loudmouthed gibberish." That got your attention. "What did you say?" They asked as the began to stand up. "I think you heard me. Oh wait, that's right, you were being too damn noisy to hear anything at all. Do forgive me. Would you like me to repeat it?" He asked as he cracked his knuckles. The men began to growl as some broke bottles and others charged at him. Dodging the punches, he simply lifted his leg and kicked about two of them out, then stretched his arm out with his hand in a fist, making the other one run into it, knocking him out easily.

The men with the broken bottles though actually got a few hits in, but none drew blood. Too drunk to fight for real. This disappointed Sanosuke, he was hoping for more of a challenge. When the men had the bottles, they just tore his clothing a bit, but he knocked sense into them. Bending down, he took their money. "Thanks." He said as he waved his hand and walked out. "Good luck paying for all that." He mumbled. He then started running when police showed. He didn't stop even though he was far enough, but only ended up running into someone, which did indeed make him fall, since of the force. Grunting a bit, he stood up and looked down at the white haired girl who he guessed he ran into. She wore a tight red shirt and a red ribbon. Guess she likes red.. Rubbing his head a little, he held out his hand to help her up. "Sorry Missy, I wasn't watching where I was going. You okay?"

She rubbed her head a bit and then looked up at who it was she ran into. "Huh!?" She grabbed his hand and pulled herself up. "Sorry I wasn't watching where I was going either.." She looked at him again. HELLO DATE FOR TONIGHT! She smiled at him. "Hi my name is Reikawa Kurosaga!" She got a little bit closer to him and batted her eyelashes a bit. "I'm all alone tonight...I have no company with me, so I'm sorta sad." She looked at him from the corner of her eyes seeing how he was reacting. She sighed and leaned away from him. "Sorry...I just hate being alone so it was cool to be able to talk to someone new." She reached for her pocket for her keys for some reason. She gasped and widened her eyes. "DAMMIT NOO!!" She clenched her teeth and looked down. Just embarrass yourself. Yeah that's the way to impress someone. Lose your keys while trying to get a date. She turned to face him and shrugged. "Well looks like I'll be out longer than I thought. My keys are gone.."

She looked over at him as she began to walk off. "You know, I was going to get a piercing....but I'd much rather spend some time with you, if you don't mind. I'm going to eat at that salmon restaurant over there. You wanna come too? I can pay for the meal." She looked at him with pleading eyes. "PLEASE!! I'm all alone tonight. My friend is gone for the week and I don't really have many girl friends so, wanna make my night?" She waited for his response and then looked down. "WELL WHATTA YA KNOW! THERE THEY ARE!" She bent over and picked up her keys. "And after dinner you can come to my place for a while if you want to." She smiled and didn't wait for him to reply. She grabbed his hand and began to pull him down the sidewalk. "COM'MON!!! LET'S HAVE SOME FUN TONIGHT!!" She smiled again and then stopped suddenly and turned to face him. "By the way....I LOVE YOUR HEAD BAND!!"

Sano stood silently as the girl rubbed the back of her head, then looked at him, saying "huh". She then finally grabbed his hand and he helped her up. He listened as she said she also wasn't watching where she was going, so he had to pause and think before he said anything rude to such a pretty girl. "Uh, well, I, shouldn't have been running in the first place.." He said as he rubbed the back of his head. He just looked at her as she began to get closer, which made him back away, introduce herself, and bat her eyelashes. "Uh.. Yeah, nice to meet ya', Sanosuke Sagara.. Mind backing up a bit..?" He said, but still listened as she spoke again. "That so..? Well, I'm sorry to hear that.." He said, but made a "phew" like sound when she leaned away. He then looked down to the side. "Well, no harm in that, I know it's not fun being alone, but you shouldn't go around gettin' all flirty with guys you don't know. That's a one-way ticket to gettin' yourself into trouble Mis- I mean, Reikawa." He then tried to hold back teasing her a bit for losing her keys, but did crack a smile. "Well then.." He said as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her a bit closer. "Why not spend that time with me?"

Sano listened to her practically beg him to spend time with her. "A meal, huh? Well, when you put it that way I can't refuse.. But I can't let the little lady pay for the meal. I say we dine and dash." He said as he put a smirk on his face and held a thumb up. He gave her a bit of a surprised look when she had a sudden outburst when she found her keys. "Uh.. uh.." He was trying to find a place to get a word in, but failed and just walked along as she grabbed his hand. He almost ran into her when she stopped, then told him she loved his head band. "Uh, thanks.."

As she stood up close to him she saw him begin to open his mouth to speak and her eyes lit up a bit waiting to see what he said.
"Uh.. Yeah, nice to meet ya', Sanosuke Sagara.. Mind backing up a bit..?"
She smiled while breathing in until he asked her to back up a bit. She slumped over and backed away from him a bit mopey. "Sorry....didn't mean to make you feel awkward there. And I love your name by they way.." She looked down a bit embarrassed and angry at herself. Man I just can't find a way to get a date at all tonight. She gasped. NO I COULDN'T POSSIBLY BE LOSING MY FLIRTING SKILLS COULD I!!?? She held her face with her hands in shock and then laughed. "There's no way I lost it! I COULD NEVER LOSE MY FLIRTINESS!!" She threw her fist up in the air and then froze. She stood there for a second and then broke into a small sweat. "I said that out loud didn't I?"

"Well, no harm in that, I know it's not fun being alone, but you shouldn't go around gettin' all flirty with guys you don't know. That's a one-way ticket to gettin' yourself into trouble Mis- I mean, Reikawa."
As he said that she looked down. "Yeah but I'd kick anyone's ass who tries to get me in trouble. I'm a lot more than I look you know.." She looked up at his face and noticed he was smiling when she went on about her keys. "Oh shut up!! I just lost my keys is all....wow....I am a loser....." She sighed and looked over at him. "Okay, go ahead and laugh. I wouldn't care anyway!" She smiled showing she didn't care at all. When he grabbed her hand and pulled her closer she blushed a bit. She wasn't expecting it so anything like that would catch her off guard.
"Why not spend that time with me?"
She widened her eyes at that and would let him pull her in for a kiss. Then she suddenly jumped back. "Whoa! Wait a minute! You just told me to back up and now you're pulling me in close!? What are you! Some sort of hypocritical predator!?" She stood there waiting for his response and then sighed. "Sorry, I was just caught off guard is all. I didn't mean that. Normally I would have liked that.........just a warning Mr. Sanosuke, do that again and I might just kiss you!" She giggled a bit and smiled at him. She listened as he explained that she shouldn't pay and thought about it for a second. "But, I can pay for my whole top floor of my apartment wing to a fancy steak and lobster dinner." She stood there and tapped her chin. "Sounds kinda conceited in a way though..." She sighed and then agreed to his offer. "Alright, since it sounds fun I guess I can do that."

She turned back around when he thanked her for his head band. She smiled at him while tilting her head. "Sure thing!! I really like it! Do you just wear it for style or do you wear it for a certain reason?" She waited for him to reply as the wind blew. It blew her hair in front of her face and she moved it aside seeing that it was night outside. "Oh I didn't realize it was so late already! Well if we are going to get something to eat we might as well do it now. Besides....if you didn't already hear unlike me, my stomach had been growling for the past 30 minutes. So com'mon let's go!!" She grabbed his wrist again but decided she didn't want to pull him again. She moved her hand and held onto his hand. "Sorry if this makes you feel awkward, but if it's okay with you I'd like to consider this a date. But if you don't want to then we can just be friends.." She waited for him to reply as she began to walk off toward the salmon restaurant and entered.

"Sorry....didn't mean to make you feel awkward there. And I love your name by they way.."[/u]

Sano hated it when girls got mopey and upset. "Uh.. Don't worry about it, I'm just not used to getting close to people I just met so soon.. And thanks.." He said as he rubbed the back of his head. He gave her a weird look as she gasped and covered her face, then laughed. She then threw her fist in the air as she said she couldn't possibly be losing her "flirty", then asked if she said that out loud. "Yup. Smooth." He said as he gave her a thumb's up. "You know how to really make an impression, don't'cha'?" He asked.

"Yeah but I'd kick anyone's ass who tries to get me in trouble. I'm a lot more than I look you know.."[/u]

Sano arched and eyebrow. "Coming from the one who thought she lost her keys on the ground in front of her...." He said as he put an arm around his wait and out his elbow on his arm, placing his head on his palm and looking at her. "Well, you don't look like much, so I take it you're not worth much on the inside either.." He told her teasingly. When she said she didn't care, he smiled again. "So you're the type who doesn't care for others opinions huh? i like that." He said as he ruffled her hair to get her fired up. When he pulled her in, she jumped back.

"Whoa! Wait a minute! You just told me to back up and now you're pulling me in close!? What are you! Some sort of hypocritical predator!?"[/u]

Sano just pulled her back in. "First of all, I said when I first, met someone. I've known you for an official five minutes now." He said with a chuckle. "Second of all, if I'm a predator, then I guess you're the prey I have my eyes on. I'll give you five seconds to run away. If you're not out of my sight by then and I get my hands on you, you better pray you come out alive." He said with a smirk.

"Sorry, I was just caught off guard is all. I didn't mean that. Normally I would have liked that.........just a warning Mr. Sanosuke, do that again and I might just kiss you!"[/u]

Reikawa giggled, and he smiled. "That so? do that and I just might bite you." He said as he ruffled her hair again. He listened to her speak and was kinda surprised. "Damn, a rich-sounding lady like you, you think you would have tons of guys linin' up at your door. Hmph, nothin' but shallow guys though. Coming to women for money.." He mumbled a bit after that. She then asked why he wore the headband. "uh.. It's, a symbol, for where i come from.." He told her as he felt his headband. He listened as she spoke again and when she held his hand, he did the same.She told him she would like to consider this a date as they entered some food joint. "If this is a date wouldn't you rather b--" Sano then bent back as something was thrown at him, dodging it. He stood back up and looked back, realizing it was a bottle. He then looked forward and caught one that almost hit Reikawa. He noticed it was a friend of one the guy he beat the crap out of in the bar. "shit.." He mumbled. He dodged more cups and whatnot and ran off with Reikawa. Now he felt kinda bad since he thought she wanted to go there. "Sorry about that.. Well, dates are meant for people to be alone anyway.. We'll go to my place." He said as he let go of her hand and walked. "If you want to, that is."

"Uh.. Don't worry about it, I'm just not used to getting close to people I just met so soon.. And thanks.."
As he said that she turned and smiled at him. "Sure! And now I get it, kinda hard to know people's feelings when you first meet, isn't it?" She looked around at everyone and then looked back at Sanosuke. Well he certainly is much more hotter looking than most of the fools out.....WAIT NEVER MIND THAT GUY IS PRETTY HOT!! She was staring at him smiling when she heard him begin again.
"You know how to really make an impression, don't'cha'?"
She blushed a bit at that. She gave him a blank look and began to form a picture in her head. She was sitting in a corner with little blue droopy fires around her and Sanosuke up on a cloud laughing at her. She kept staring blankly like that and then looked back over at him again. "Yeah, but normally the impression I give is some Punky weirdo.." She looked at her clothes and looked back up at him. "I don't look that bad do I?"

She sighed and began to walk over to him.
"Coming from the one who thought she lost her keys on the ground in front of her...."
"Huh!?" She was staring at him a bit annoyed.
"Well, you don't look like much, so I take it you're not worth much on the inside either.."
The thought from earlier came back into her head again. She was scrunching up her shoulders and growling in her throat a bit. Then he ruffled her hair telling her that he liked girls that don't care much about opinions. She slapped his hand of and pointed her finger at his face. "Listen you! I don't care when people laugh at me, but I hate being treated like a child! So you got that!?" She smiled at him a bit deviously. "Because on the inside I'm worth a lot more than you think mister!" She smiled at him and then winked. When he pulled her back in she sort of followed along with it. She let him pull her in.
"First of all, I said when I first, met someone. I've known you for an official five minutes now."
She chuckled at that. "Oh yeah an official 5 minutes! Yeah that's the best moments to know someone and trust them!" She said a bit sarcastically.

"Second of all, if I'm a predator, then I guess you're the prey I have my eyes on. I'll give you five seconds to run away. If you're not out of my sight by then and I get my hands on you, you better pray you come out alive."
She smirked back at him and tried to push away from him but not very hard by purpose. "Oh no then I better start running, but it seems I'm already in the predator's trap!" She chuckled a bit and then leaned back into him giving him a hug. She wasn't trying to create any real emotion. She thought of it as a friendly hug, but was afraid he might think of it as something else. When she told him she might kiss him she looked up at him to see what he had to say.
"That so? do that and I just might bite you."
She let him ruffle her hair again and shook her head to try get her hair back down when he was done. She smiled back at him. "You couldn't bite me could you?" She said batting her eyelashes again. She laughed as she heard him mumble about her being rich. When he told her where his headband came from she nodded. "So it's where you're from? Where are you from then?"

As they walked into the food joint a bottle was thrown at him and he dodged it. "Sanosu--?" She was cut off when his hand was in front of her face catching the bottle coming at her. "Oh! What the!?" She looked forward to see someone who looked angry at them. "Why is he angry? We just walked in is all." When he dodged more she guessed he had forgotten that he was still holding onto her hand and she felt as though he was trying rip her arm out of place. When he finally jolted out of the restaurant she was following him.
"Sorry about that.. Well, dates are meant for people to be alone anyway.. We'll go to my place."
She nodded and felt it when he let go of her hand. She felt a little sad that he did and then sighed a bit irritated. She came over and put her hand on his shoulder and the other one around his waist. Whoa! He's ripped! She held onto him. "If this is still a date then we can at least be holding onto each other." When he asked her if she wanted to go to his place she nodded and smiled at him. "Sure I'd be fine with that." She tilted her head and then looked forward still following him. Being with you, I'm happy to do anything. She didn't know why she felt that way. She just really liked this guy for some reason. He was definitely no Bena though......he was better.

"Sure! And now I get it, kinda hard to know people's feelings when you first meet, isn't it?"[/u]

Sano just kinda gave her a weird look. "Why not?" He said with a shrug. He wasn't really following. He saw her look around and wondered why, but figured he shouldn't question, for it'd probably be something weird again. He chuckled slightly at the thought of that. He thought Reikawa was a fool and fun to tease, but in a cute way.

"Yeah, but normally the impression I give is some Punky weirdo.." "I don't look that bad do I?"[/u]

Sano gave her a confused look. "When did I say you looked bad? You look fine you weirdo punk." He told her with a teasing smirk. she then sighed and he put a hand on her forehead. "And here I thought you didn't care for others opinions." He told her. she then growled at him and slapped his hand and began to yell at him. "Oo, kitty can scratch. Listen Missy, I'm not treating you like a kid. You're just fun to tease, but if you don't like it, I can cut it out." He said as he ruffled her hair a bit more, but not as much as he did. She then had an attitude change. She told him that she was worth more than he thought and winked. He smiled. "I was joking though. Trust me, you're much more in my eyes than you think." He told her, hardly paying attention to what was coming out of his mouth.

"Oh yeah an official 5 minutes! Yeah that's the best moments to know someone and trust them!"[/u]

Sano laughed slightly. "Well of course it is. Haven't you heard that five is the magic number?" he asked smugly. When she tried to push away and said she was in the predator's trap, he laughed out loud for once as he tightened his grip, pulling her closer. "Better start praying then."

When Reikawa shook her head trying to get her hair back down, Sano ruffled it again. When she batted her eyelashes again and asked if he could bite her, he laughed. "I'll make you a deal. I won't bite you if you stop batting those eyelashes of yours." she then asked where he was from. "I'm from the Sekihiko Army..." He told her.

"Sanosu--?" "Oh! What the!?" "Why is he angry? We just walked in is all."[/u]

"Yeah, about that.." Sano said as he moved to the side, dodging another. "I may have gotten into some trouble with him before." He answered as they ran. He hear her sigh again when he let go of her hand, but stopped when a hand went on his shoulder and another on his waist. "Holding on to each other, you say?" He asked. He then bent down a bit and swiped her on his back as he began walking. "This work for ya'?" He asked with a smirk. When she said it was fine with her to go to his place, he nodded. "My place it is then."

"When did I say you looked bad? You look fine you weirdo punk."
She began to laugh when he said that. She turned around smiled at him with her hair spiraling around onto her shoulder. "Oh don't worry I've been called worse, bird-head." She smirked at him waiting to see how he reacted.
"And here I thought you didn't care for others opinions."
She smiled and tilted her head. Her smile got even bigger though. "Oh I don't, but can't I hiss every once in a while?" She put her hand out and imitated a cat's paw and hissed at him.
"Oo, kitty can scratch. Listen Missy, I'm not treating you like a kid. You're just fun to tease, but if you don't like it, I can cut it out."
That thought came back from earlier and she got a little rain cloud above her head. Her smile turned into a frown. "I didn't mean it like that, you can tease me all you want, really you can! I don't care, really.....I'm not very good at creating fun so sorry if I gave you the wrong idea." Despite the fact of her loving to start parties and joke with people, she isn't actually very good at making the fun continue by expressing her opinions.
"I was joking though. Trust me, you're much more in my eyes than you think."
When he said that she turned to face him abruptly. "Really.....?" She tilted her head and looked at him. I have never had that said to me before, even by Bena. Does he really think of me differently then everyone else does? Does he feel the same way about me that I think I'm starting feel toward him? She put her head down and blushed a bit. She smiled at those words. I'm special in his eyes... She closed her eyes and smiled a big grin.

When he explained that 5 was the magic number she laughed and rolled her eyes. "Well I think that 6 is the new magic number since we've now known each other for an official 6 minutes!" She smiled as he tightened his grip and she began to laugh. When he pulled her closer and told her to start praying she chuckled again. "Oh I'm praying all right! I'm praying that the hunter doesn't suspect you as a rooster!" She laughed at him a bit but then ruffled his hair that time. When he ruffled her hair again she shook her head play hit him in the chest. "Oh looks like the hunter took her shot. Now I'm the hunter and you're the prey!" She laughed a bit but didn't continue on with it.
"I'll make you a deal. I won't bite you if you stop batting those eyelashes of yours."
She turned and tilted her head back giving him the puppy dog look. "Aww!! So me batting my eyelashes isn't hot enough to work for you?" She laughed and then turned to face him again. "Well it turns out you're harder to catch then I thought, I fail as a hunter!" She laughed and listened when he explained where he was from. "The Sekiho Army huh?.....I've heard of them. I would always check out books on them! They were my favorite group, then it was the Shinsengumi! You guys had it rough a while back. I'm surprised that you survived? How did you?" She didn't want to ask him too much because it might have been too hard for him to talk about. They seemed to stand there in silence for a few minutes until two girls walked by. "Yeah look at him." "I know! He would be REALLY cute if he fixed his hair a different way." "I know right! But look at the girl he's talking to." Reikawa froze and listened to them speak. "Yeah I know right, what a juvenile delinquent." "What's he doing talking to someone like her." She growled as they were exchanging words. "HEY LISTEN YOU TWO!! I DON'T KNOW WHO THE HELL YOU ARE AND WHAT YOUR DEAL IS FOR JUDGING PEOPLE OUT LOUD!! Sure I judge people, BUT IN MY MIND!! I MAY LOOK BAD BUT I'M A LOT LESS SHALLOW THAN YOU TWO!!" She pointed at Sanosuke next. "AND THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN JUST JUDGE HIM BECAUSE OF HIS HAIR! PERSONALLY I LIKE HIS HAIR IT LOOKS VERY NICE!!" She began to turn a deep red. "SO YOU CAN KEEP YOUR PREPPY SHIT TO YOURSELVES!!! SO THEN YOU CAN PRANCE OFF INTO YOUR FLOWERY LAND OF WHORES!!" She came at them a bit and they ran away screaming. "Pfft! What a bunch a cowards!"

When they walked in and he dodged a few bottles and cups he began to explain why he was angry.
"Yeah, about that.."
She looked over at him dodging a cup that was thrown at her. "Huh!?" When he explained that he got into trouble with the guy earlier she dropped her jaw. "WHAT KIND OF TROUBLE!! AND WHY WASN'T I A PART OF IT!!??" She said that a bit jokingly but she did want some fun earlier. When they were going to his place he put her on his back. When he asked if that was alright she smiled and then nodded. She began to turn a bit red. This feels nice. He is really warm now that I think about it. She rested her head on his back and closed her eyes. This is feels very nice. She moved her arms around his neck. "If I start to choke you, please let me know, alright?" She lay her head back down and began to drift off into a daze and then a doze and then to sleep.
