Kasumi took a deep breath of the fresh air as she walked through the park. Strangely, it was a beautiful day, yet almost completely silent. Here I thought there would be more people for such a nice day.. She looked up as she shoved her hands in her pocket and watched some birds fly by. Her eyes followed them and the landed not to far away. Getting a mischievous grin upon her face, she looked around to make sure no one was there. Confirming the information, she transformed into her wolf form and began to chase the birds, wagging her tail wildly like a happy puppy with a new toy. She soon began to run away though when a huge flock suddenly began coming after her.
Hiding behind a tree, Kasumi quickly went back into human form as the birds flew around the tree. Wait, what the hell am I doing? I eat these guys for breakfast, why am I running from them?! Dammit, I'm not coward! Getting aggravated, she transformed back and went out from the tree, growling as the birds headed towards her. They fought it out in a mini war, but of course, the predator prevailed with little scratches from the talons and beaks. Transforming again into human, she had a smug grin on her face as she wiped a little blood off her cheek. "Burn in hell, devil birds." She told them as she walked off.

Noel was having a normal day. Somewhat, anyway. When she woke up, she'd taken a shower. Normal, check. She got dressed in her Loli-Goth. Normal, Check, She ate breakfast. Normal, check. She went for a walk. Wait, what? Noel didn't go for walks. They reminded her too much of her deceased father and, well, it hurt. A lot. But today, something told her to suck it up and go out. Something big was happening and her gut screamed at her to get her scrawny self to the park because... Parks were cool, apparently.
And, on the bright side, it was a nice day. And there was no harm in getting some fresh air. Staying locked in her house all day was not good at all for her health. She was already skinny as it was. Noel twirled in the beating sun, smiling at the refreshing feeling that overwhelmed her at moving in the open space. And that's when she saw it. Some girl was walking away from a grip of birds that were bleeding and looked wounded. That... Was odd. Curiosity taking over, Noel ran after her.
Placing a hand on the other girl's shoulder, Noel laughed. "Hey, what was that? Do you beat up birds for fun?"

Another day. Another normal day or what would be normal for electrical capacitor. Jump City seemed to be the place where Fate Lingod would make his primary home. The weather was nice, the people were cool, and his girlfriend was here. So why not stay here? After a long week of surprises Fate thought it would be best to relax here in the park. He was wearing a pair of black cargo shorts, a pair of white DC shoes, and a white Breaking Benjamin t-shirt. This was his normal apparel.
It's so F'N hot! Please let go home! I beg of thee! Shut up! This is fun. Why do ya hate me so much! I'd stop bein' annoyin' if we go home now. Whose being a marshmellow now?
He had just been walking around the park, minding his own business until he was hit in the head with a soccer ball. The soccer ball bounced of his head and into some near by bushes. Fate rubbed his head for a second, looking at the kids who had kicked the ball. He waved slightly, figuring that it was an accident. He walked over toward the bushes and grabbed the ball. "It's a good thing I have a hard head or else that would have hurt." He tossed the ball back with a smile. He smile grew more wide when he saw her. She hadn't seen him yet, but he was pretty sure she might have picked up his scent. He slowly walked over realizing there was another girl there. Oh... She's with a friend. Ow, I don't want to seem too clingy or interupt their girls' day out. Or maybe Kasumi loves us so much she decided to let us watch her and that girl bathe in the river together. ... Again, you proved that we're two seperate people, pervert. Tch! I rather be a pervert than a marshmellow! Fate figured he would just easy his way out before he was notice. But as always things never go as plan. As he turned to walk away he was hit in the face with that same soccer ball again. "Son of a--" He placed his hands on his forehead as his eyes watered, almost forming tears. Why did things like this always happen to him? Hehehe... That funny. |

Kasumi walked away, looking at the ground, but stopped and looked up. Hmph, no more birds, right? She bit her lip a bit. Okay, maybe I didn't have to kill them all, after all I did start it. Perhaps they were playing along? Well, I guess I'll never kno- A small laugh echoed in her ears, making her thoughts disappeared as a hand landed on her shoulder, making her jump.
"Hey, what was that? Do you beat up birds for fun?"[/u]
Kasumi groaned a bit as she put a hand on her chest. "Do you scare the living hell out of people for fun?" She asked, now getting a good look at the person. It was a blond-haired female who was wearing a Loli-goth dress.(It's a dress, right?) "And, no, I don't beat birds for fun.. Those were devil birds who started coming after me.." It wasn't a lie either, she just hoped the girl believed her. It is an unusual thing.. I just hope she's not like an undercover park ranger or something.. I don't think she'll believe it, I wouldn't really blame her either.. She rubbed the back of her head as a gust of wind passed through and she caught a familiar scent. She knew who it was before she finished inhaling the air. It was Fate.She looked around anxiously and found him right when he got hit in the face with a soccer ball. Fate then put his hands over his face.
"Son of a--"[/u]
This, of course, angered Kasumi greatly. Who the hell do they think they are?! That was no accident! She walked over there, completely forgetting about the girl and picked up the soccer ball. Examining it, she looked over to the people who had the soccer ball and back to the actual ball. "Well, it's only fair.." She said with a shrug as she dropped the ball, pulling her foot back. With that, she kicked the ball with great force, hitting one of the guys in the head. "You okay, Fate?" She asked as she turned to him, then averted her attention back to the girl as she pointed at her. "Now that, was for fun." She told her with a smirk.

Noel dusted off her dress when the girl walked away from her. How. Annoying. Noel didn't like to be ignored. It was never fun. However, she could only follow where the girl went with her eyes, resisting the urge to say something about being walked away from. However, her auburn eyes were only for the person the girl walked to. She bit her lip and felt the blush climbing up her neck. Dammit, she should have worn some respectable clothing, not her stupid Loli-Goth dress. She looked like a whore! The girl spoke to the guy and then kicked the soccer ball -where had that come from, Noel pondered- at some guy.
"Now that, was for fun."
Noel only managed a small, annoyed smile at the girl. She wasn't feeling particularly friendly anymore, mostly because the girl seemed to be buddy-buddy with the guy and it just really annoyed her. Thankful that she left her hair down, Noel ran her fingers through the blond locks atop her head. "Not very nice though, was it?" Noel chimed, laughing a little nervously. "I... I'm Noel. Noel Dent!" She wore a grin that basically screamed 'I'm cheerful so by god you need to be cheerful too or else'.

Fate continued to rubbed his forehead for a moment before giving his full attention to Kasumi. "I'm cool. Just didn't expect to get hit again," He shrugged, "Apparently, parks are extremely dangerous." He smiled softly as Noel introduced herself. The first thing he notice about her, other than her great looks, was that outfit she was wearing. It was... Different. Much different from what anything Fate had seen. But everyone had their style. He chuckled as she said it wasn't very nice. "But it was a nice kick, you'd have to say." He walked to the new girl, offering his hand for a proper shake. "Nice to meet Noel. I'm Fate Lingod."
"It's nice to meet one of Kasumi's friends... How long have you known each other?" Okay, so apparently Fate had the wrong idea. Maybe there weren't friends just yet, but how was he suppose to know that. They seemed to have been talking when he first arrived. So... Ask 'bout-- I'm not asking if her hair is really blond. ... ... Why not!? Ya know what they say 'bout true blonds... No, I don't Hope. They... Uh, damn, I got nothin'. Fate turned back to Kasumi and tugged at his goggles, nervously. "Uh... So should I like be freaking out since you got a little blood on your hand?" |

Kasumi could easily see the girl was annoyed now, but didn't know why and wasn't exaclty caring either. She went back to paying attention to Fate as he began speaking, laughing at his last comment. "For you, they may be dangerous. No worries though, I shall keep you safe! As long as I'm with you, that is.. Otherwise it might be hard.." She said as she rubbed the back of her head a bit. Reverting her attention back to the girl, she just shrugged. "It wasn't nice of them to hit him.. Only fair." She told her with a shrug and another smirk. She looked back at Fate as he said it was a nice kick. "Gotta have powerful legs in order to run well."
"I... I'm Noel. Noel Dent!"[/u]
"Nice to meet Noel. I'm Fate Lingod. It's nice to meet one of Kasumi's friends... How long have you known each other?"[/u]
Kasumi walked over to Fate and shook her head a bit. "You got it all wrong Fate. We just met. I hardly know her.." She remembered then that she hadn't introduced herself. "Oh yeah. I'm Kasumi Kaji, and like Fate said, nice to meet you." She threw a happy smile at Noel, not really sure if she was still annoyed or not. When Fate looked at her and tugged on is goggles, she just blinked at him. When he asked if he should be worried about the blood on her hands, she looked at them and hid them behind her back. "If you are secretly an army of evil birds, then yes.. Otherwise no."

Noel bit back a laugh. Hardly knew her? Kasumi knew nothing about Noel. Nothing. No one really knew anything about the blond entity in her Loli-Goth clothes and her 'Aw be happy' attitude. No one knew that deep inside, if you were sad, it was Noel's job to make you happier than you'd ever been. Instead, the blond girl smiled gently.
"You may not know me," she said to Kasumi before fixing her auburn gaze on Fate. "But you," she said teasingly, if not flirtatiously, "you can get to know me any time you want." She mused mentally about what a bad line that was. It was cheesy and over used but it was fun. She rarely got to hit on people and Fate was very attractive.

"I see. Well, I best stay by your side," He smiled, "Who knows what I get hit with next? I hate to be hit with a bowling ball..." Okay, now he was feeling especially lame. Why couldn't said something more cooler and funny. Damn, ya so stupid! Ya makin' me look lame! Fate just stared at his hand that he held out for Noel to shake. Denied! He pulled it back in, thinking nothing of it. Maybe she wasn't the touchy type.
Fate gave her an awkward smile, but thought it was best he didn't ask. Instead, he would make a joke out of it. An inside joke that only he and Kasumi would get... Hopefully. "Oh... I thought you got your hands on one of my fangirls," Fate said jokingly, "I was having a hard time for coming up with an excuse." Clever! Fate smile grew wide, waiting for Kasumi's response. "Oh! You're not friends... Well, I feel like an idiot." But what happened next was on a whole different level. Noel was coming on to Fate? Of all people. The Experiment, the Weapon. The crazed teen with too many 'personalities' to handle. SWEET! 'Nother girlie likes us! Damn, we good! I'm tellin' ya it's the purple eyes. Not good! We love Kasumi! Nothin' wrong with Kasumi bein' the main dish and this pretty lil' blond being the side. You don't really mean that, do you? NO! Marshmellow! Set the new girl straight! Don't be nice 'bout it either! Okay? Fate tugged at his goggles, nervously again. Noel was beautiful girl so was Kasumi. If he had never met Kasumi and fell in love with her than he would have been more than willing to 'to get to know Noel.' The last thing he wanted was to make Kasumi upset in anyway. He sighed. "I'm totally taken... And I'm happy in the relationship i'm in," He pointed to Kasumi and then gave Noel an awkward smile, "I'm sorry... But i'm sure there's plenty of guys out there I bet would kill to be with you, Ms. Noel." After that, Fate didn't dare look in Noel's direction. His eyes were fixed on Kasumi as he twiddle his thumbs. Ugh! Ya was 'pose to grab Kasumi and give her this huge kiss then say all that crap! Now she's gonna think ya just sayin' that 'cause Kasumi is here and ya don't want to hurt her. No... Really? Yes, ya idiot! Ya such an marshmellow! |

((Lmao, it's a little late for Kasumi not to get upset.XD Well, mad..o.o Then again.. I was right the first time. <.<))
Kasumi stood there awkwardly now, not really sure what to do now. The girl was just standing there and smiling, but Fate began talking, so that soothed things over for her a bit. Made it a little less awkward for her. "That would be pretty bad if it was a bowling ball, but in order to get it in the air, your probably going to need at least a large slingshot, or a very strong man." She told him with a smile s she followed his eyes to his hand, finally noticing he was offering her a handshake and she wasn't taking it. When he pulled it back, she reached out for it and gave him a handshake for her. "There ya' go! Of course, it'd work better if we just met." She said as she laughed slightly and rubbed the back of her head.
Fate smiled and Kasumi smiled in return, laughing at his next comment. "No, I haven't got a hold on one of them yet.. Trust me though, if I did, you'd know nothing about it." She said with a playful smirk. "An excuse? You know how gullible I can be, you could say probably one of the idiotic excuses and I'd fall for it." She just patted his head as he said he felt like an idiot. "Don't, it was a honest mistake." She said as her attention reverted to Noel. Her eyes widened a bit and she looked down slightly as she began hitting on Fate, and of course this made her pretty mad. She looked to the side as a tree in the distance caught fire. The people near it screamed and ran away. This was on purpose, she wanted it to look like they were the ones that started it so no one would get suspicious. Probably only Fate would, maybe Noel if she was a good guesser. Fate then sighed.

Kasumi's eyes opened wider now and she looked down to the ground. He may have said that, but he sighed before((yes, she is going to make a production about the sighXD)), maybe he's not happy with me.. Would things be different if I wasn't here? Would he have still said that? Does he mean them? She continued to think, but knew she had to say something, so looked up and forced a smile. "Completely and totally!" She said with a laugh afterward. Maybe I should go home.... I really don't feel like leaving him with her here though...
