((Sorry, I know you might not be in the mood, but still.. And hey! You can release your anger out in posts!=D))
Kasumi stood outside the building, like she usually did when it came to girly places like the mall. She was fairly bored though and had nothing better to do. Heh, reminds me of the time I met... That one dude.. What's-'s-name.. Uh... She stood there and tried to remember it, but seemed to be failing. I'm so bad with names.. Shaking her head at herself, she walked inside, wincing at the stench of perfume, cologne and a bunch of different scents. She began to feel like her head spinning, but walked around anyway. This is screwing up my senses horribly!! Ugh!
She stumbled inside a store, sadly, it was a jewelry store. She stumbled some more and almost knocked over a stand filled with jewelry. Although, she didn't notice that a piece of jewelry clung to her and she walked out, making the alarm system go off. At first she tensed, not really sure who sent it off until she saw security coming after her. What the hell?! She began to run away, still oblivious ti the jewelry on her.
Kasumi dodged them multiple times, bringing down things as well as people. "Their" Yelled one of the guards. "I am not! I don't know what you're talking about!!" She yelled back, continuing to run. "Liar!" The other yelled. "I am not!!" She made a sharp turned then, but lost footing and fell into another door that was for staff only. The guards ran by and she tumbled down the stairs, hitting her head on the last one. "Ah! Dammit! Ow.." She looked up and then saw something shiny. Picking it up, she saw it was jewelry. Shit, no wonder they followed, I was the one who set the alarm off..

Noel had decided to forgo her Loli-Goth way of dressing, instead opting for a more practical outfit. She'd coupled her normal red top with her long pants and some pointy toed high heels. She wrapped a red and black scarf around her neck and had her hair down. She was doing some last minute shopping. She was planning a trip back to Gotham to go to her parents' graves and to see Batman so she had to buy the proper items. Some roses and calla lilies for her dad's and mom's graves, respectively, and some new technology Noel had ordered on a black list and was picking up in the mall for Bruce.
It was relatively pleasant in the mall and she was feeling good. Well, as good as she could with the death day of Rachael Dawes-Dent and Harvey Dent coming up. She blew a strand of gold-blond hair from her face and kept up her brisk walk toward the shop where she was to pick up the advanced piece of technology. However, she didn't get very far when someone fell into the staff only door and, it seemed, down the stairs. The person was then chased by security guards.
Unable to resist the temptation and curiosity she felt, Noel followed after and leaned over the stair railing, shocked to see... Kasumi! Well, that was an unpleasant surprise. Noel was tempted to leave the girl to fend for herself but could not find the will.
"Oh my god, Kasumi!" Noel cried out. She smiled gently at the guards. "It's okay. Leave her to me. My dad is the owner here," she told them, winking saucily. She cringed at the lie. She didn't even know the owner except that it was a man. She was pleased when they left and turned her gaze to Kasumi. "Well, well, well." To punctuate each 'well', Noel stepped down the stairs, squatting down to look Kasumi in the eye. "What ever have we here? A little mouse lost her way?"

Kasumi sat up, closed her eyes and rubbed the back of her head. "Ooowww... Stairs hurt.." She mumbled to herself as she stood up. she popped her back and then looked down. That hurt even worse! Never again!! She heard the guards walkies-talkies go off and the sound was louder than it should've been. Shit! she slammed herself against the wall, which made an obvious sound. Gah!! I'm an idiot!! She saw the guards in the doorway and began to run down the ahllway with them following after her.
Wait, I still have the jewelry in my hand..! Kasumi stopped and turned around to face the guards. "Wait! Stop! I didn't mean to take this, I swear![/i] She said as she threw it at them. She noticed it to be that one wolf necklace she saw the last time she was here that she wanted, but never bought it. One of the guards caught it, but the other held out handcuffs. She looked at them wide-eyed and began backing away. "Hey now.. I gave you the jewelry back!! I didn't mean to take it, I swear! It just clung to my clothing!!" She was trying to reassure the guards, but it clearly wasn't working. She then tripped over and fell down my stairs. "WHAT THE HELL IS WITH ALL THE STAIRS IN THIS PLACE!?" Kasumi yelled loudly, trying to keep her anger under control.
"Oh my god, Kasumi!"[/u]
Kasumi's head jerked up at the mention of her name. "N..Noel?!" She cried out in surprise. She then had smiled at the guards and said she would take care of her, that her father owned the place. She could easily tell Noel was lying though, but it seemed to work on the guards, since they left. She sighed out of relief, forgetting that Noel was here but soon was reminded when she heard her say "well" three times. Noel then bent down and looked at her in the eyes. "I'm not lost! What the hell gave you that idea?!" Of course, she was lying just so Noel didn't have anything to place against her. She really did hate the mall. "So what'd you save my hide for? I bet you want me to go to jail so you can have your chance at Fate, so why bother?!" She asked as she sat up, crossed her legs and rubbed the back of her head looking at Noel.

What? Oh, Kasumi thought Noel was saving her. That was rich. Really, really rich. Far from it. Noel wanted to keep Kasumi and torture her when she stole Fate from her. Noel stood up, pulling Kasumi with her. She shoved Kasumi roughly against the nearest wall, a scowl adorning her face, her lips quirking at the corners. " I came here to buy some flowers," and some black market technology, " and I find something so much better. A lost Kasumi who now owes me for keeping her out of jail." The blond set her copper eyes on the other girl, her rival, the copper sparkling into a pretty amber color. Well, it would have been pretty were it not evil as heck. Noel ran her fingers through her blond hair and tilted her head to the side, staring thoughtfully at the girl she had 'saved'. ~ Outfit~ |

Kasumi glared at Noel. she really didn't want to be near her. Truthfully, she wanted to tear her throat out, but then she'd just seem like a rabid dog. Besides, she had a feeling Fate didn't want to be with a murderer. She'd also have to serve jail time. She watched Noel silently as she stood up, but gave her a disgusted look as Noel dragged her with her. "What the hell are you--" she began, but caught herself off when she was roughly shoved against a wall. She was becoming irritated now. She placed a hand on Noel's wrist. "Let me go." She told her sternly.

Kasumi tightened her jaw. I didn't ask her to help me, she did it on her own. She wants something, I can tell, but what is it? And why the hell would she be here buying flowers? You can buy flowers at any random store! She watched as Noel ran a hand through her hand as her eyes began to turn amber. "What do you want?" She asked her bitterly. "If it has anything to do with Fate you can forget it right now."
