Kira bounced back into the kitchen she had vacated not 10 minutes ago. However this unusual method of movement was not the first thing that was drawn to the eye. That right was reserved to the long furry tail swishing happily back and forth behind Kira. Kevin had asked the wolf girl for another demonstration of her... unique powers. Doing the first thing that had come to mind, she sprouted her wolf tail as she walked down the stairs ahead of Kevin, almost tripping him at first.
Now Kira made for her most recent addition to her arch nemesis list. The fridge. With a watchful glare she cautiously opened the door, pulled out a steak, and firmly shut the door once she was done. Flipping the bloody slab of meat onto a conveniently placed frying pan Kira turned her attention to Kevin.
"Gotta keep an eye on that one. It has a habit of slamming shut when you least expect it." Kira joked as she clicked the stove into cooking mode and moved her steak over the now brilliant orange flame.
"So what can i get you oh mighty and powerful titan Kevin?" She grinned, resting her hands on the bench behind her. Food always made Kira feel better, a rare and bloody steak more so.

Kevin watched Kira's tail swoosh back and forth as they made their way down the stairs, almost being tripped up by it on the way down. That thing was pretty big! He carefully watched his steps from that point on as they headed towards the kitchen. He wondered what she looked like when she fully transformed, but that was a question for another day, right now it was feeding time!
He watched as she pulled a steak out the fridge, but he caught the look Kira gave the cooling device. He raised his eyebrow in amusement as a grin played across his face. "Watch out for the evil refridgerator, gotcha!" He replied laughing.
So what can i get you oh mighty and powerful titan Kevin?"
He laughed again. "The mighty isn't necessary, just Powerful Titan Kevin is fine." He joked placing a finger on his chin in thought of what he wanted. In truth, he could eat everything they had and probably still have room for dessert, but he didn't want to eat them out of house and home, so he had to come up with something simpler. "How's about, twelve ham sandwiches?" He suggested, figuring that was lighter than what he usually ate for lunch.

"The mighty isn't necessary, just Powerful Titan Kevin is fine."
Kira had to laugh at that one. Seems like the tower was going to get yet another joker. Maybe Kevin might even laugh at BB's jokes?.... Then again, maybe not.
Grinning yet again, Kira turned and flipped the steak with a well practiced flick of her wrist whilst she held the pan's handle. No doubt Kevin would be wondering why she would flip it now, the bottom side of the steak hadn't even started to brown yet. Oh wells, she'd explain it all to him if he asked, but right now she really couldn't be bothered, and anyways, Kevin was speaking again.
"How's about, twelve ham sandwiches?"
"12? I see many fights between you and Cy in the future. That man loves his ham." Kira laughed and grabbed the bread whilst her still swishing tail opened the fridge and retrieved the ham for her, just remembering in time to close the door when it was done. Don't want a hungry and agitated wolf startled now do we? Who knows what might happen?
"I'm speedy in some ways, but not in the art of sandwiches, care to give me a hand?" Kira asked, holding up a piece of bread to Kevin.

Kevin smiled when Kira laughed at his joke. Good, she didn't think he was being egotistical, she actually found it funny. He loved it when people laughed at his jokes, to him it meant he was making them atleast a little bit happier inside.
He noticed that the steak had been flipped before the bottom side had enough time to cook properly. Well, properly for his taste anyway. "I'm gonna take a stab in the dark here, you like undercooked meat?" He asked glancing from the steak back to her with a grin.
"12? I see many fights between you and Cy in the future. That man loves his ham."
"Yeah... We probably will have a few altercations over food, I love eating, especially meat." He replied chuckling. It was true, ever since he was little he'd had a ferocious appetite, no doubt inherited from his father. He wondered if he could coax Cyborg into an eating contest, that would be fun. He watched as Kira used her tail for a task that was usually meant for someone's hands. "You're pretty well trained with that thing." He pointed at the tail in question laughing.
"I'm speedy in some ways, but not in the art of sandwiches, care to give me a hand?"
"Sure thing!" Kevin answered happily as he walked over taking the offered piece of bread. He slapped a slice of ham on it, then turned to open the fridge to get some mayo. He opened it carefully and quickly pulled out the jar he was looking for, closing the door just as carefully as he had opened it. He cracked his knuckles, preparing to make his food at top speed. Not because he was that hungry, but because he wanted to show off his powers a bit.
A smirk appeared on his face as he grabbed 21 pieces of bread and 10 slices of ham, making 11 sandwiches in a blur. "I guess I'm more versed in the art of the sandwich." He said laughing with a childish grin on his face.

"I'm part wolf. They tend to eat raw meat, now whilst that may taste unusually delicious, human me likes to pretend to be a little bit more normal. Hence the partial frying." Kira explained at Kevin's remark about her steak. To his exclamation about her tail, Kira simply shrugged and flashed him a wolfy grin. Using her tail was as natural to her as breathing. Honestly Kira could not imagine life without her powers. Okay sure she'd probably would of killed alot less innocent people and would not have to constantly be reigning the wolf inside her mind back in. But she also would not of saved many more people than she hurts, would not have the freedom she has, nor the friends.
Kira shook her head, it was unusual for her to get so caught up in such sappy thoughts. However as her attention returned to Kevin, her eyes widened. His skill with sandwiches was rather impressive. Kira could do better though.
Eyes flashing in mischief, Kira took a semi firm grasp on the handle of the frying pan. Then, with an ease that demonstrated she had done this thousands of times, Kira flicked her wrist up sending the steak soaring high into the air. Just as it reached the peak of it's flight Kira leaped up to meet it. In her the split second it took for her super-powered leap to reach the steak, Kira had transformed her entire head into it's wolfy counterpart. Meaning her head was now the same size as her body. With a smug snap the Titan swallowed the bloody steak whole, transforming back into human form before her feet again hit the ground. The whole spectacle taking place in just over a second.
"I guess i'm more versed in the art of wolfy aerial dinning." Kira laughed with Kevin, a grin plastered across her face.
Whilst the new scents of Kevin, his antics, and a good meal had improved the wolf's temperament, it was still rearing with pent up energy. Definitely going out later tonight. Kira promised herself and glanced out the windows to check to see just how long 'tonight' was away.

Kevin smacked his forehead. "Part wolf, why didn't I think of that?! It all makes sense now." He had to admit he was feeling a little slow, if she could transform into a wolf, that would make her part wolf, making her part wolf would give her wolf traits and characteristics, such as a taste for raw meat. Why did it take him that long to get it?
Kevin stood there with his childish grin, widening when he noticed Kira's wide-eyed glance. However as the steak was tossed into the air, his grin faded and it was now his turn to gaze up in awe with his eyes wide. Had he been a normal human, his eyes might not have been able to follow that whole demonstration, luckily his eyes were used to fast paced movements and kept up rather well with the display. Had her head just more than doubled in size? He probably wouldn't have believed it had he not seen it himself. If the head alone was that big, the rest of her full wolf form must have been huge!
"I gotta admit, that was pretty cool. Fast too! Most impressive!" He applauded, a grin once more on his lips. 'If she jumped up and snapped at a steak that fast, I wonder how fast she can run? I bet I can still beat her though!' He thought, an idea now forming in his mind. "Hey, after lunch, you wanna have a little race?"

Kevin smacked his forehead. "Part wolf, why didn't I think of that?! It all makes sense now." Kira smirked. "What'll really do your head in is the fact that both my parents were 100% human." Kira had gotten over the pain of her parents death long ago, she hadn't realy known them that long anyways. This was why she could so easily make jokes about them. It was true, when Rachel Kalie Jackson had been born she had been one normal, average human, things change though; not usually on the DNA level, but still. ((I'll be posting up a history after this which will explain everything )) "Hey, after lunch, you wanna have a little race?"Had Kira still had her tail out, it would of just started to wag so fast it would break the sound barrier. As it was Kira couldn't help but bounce up and down on her toes and clasp her hands in glee. "You have no idea how good an idea that is!" She cried happily, leaping suddenly and catching Kevin in a bone crushing hug. She let go just as quickly and busied herself tossing the frying pan into the dishwasher. ((And now the phone is ringing. Sorry for the shortness ))

"What'll really do your head in is the fact that both my parents were 100% human."
Kevin tilted his head in confusion. "How'd that work out? Now you've gone and lost me." He said shaking his head, still trying to wrap his mind around the idea of two normal human parents, giving birth to a part wolf daughter. "Unless you were bitten by a radioactive wolf or something."
He could easily tell that his idea had excited the hybrid wolf girl, a fact which alone put a warm smile on his face. He had to admit, her reaction to it was pretty cute too. Cute up until she leaped at him, he was surprised, not knowing what was coming next until it was too late. He could feel himself being constricted in her powerful arms, the air momentarily leaving his lungs. "Whoa!.... You are strong!" He exclaimed after getting his breath back.
While Kira was occupied with cleaning her used dish, Kevin spent his time devouring his sandwiches. Not wanting to make the lady wait too long, he decided to quickly scarf down the meal at his normal pace, instead of the pace of a regular human. In about two bites each, the sandwiches disappeared down his throat. He sighed with satisfaction and patted his stomach. He placed everything that he used back where it belonged, not wanting to leave a mess for someone else. "Alright milady, ready when ever you are!"

Kira spun around to face Kevin, sending her hair whipping back around past her face. "It's just Kira Kev." she grinned then skipped over to the door leading out from the room just as Kevin finished putting his things away. The guy had some serious chewing power, he'd devoured those sandwiches almost as fast a Kira had eaten her steak. Almost."So where did you want to go? I can kick your arse anywhere." Kira said coyly then laughed and danced back over to Kevin to grasp his hand and drag him with her over to the door. Now that sh definitely knew that she was about to go for that much needed run Kira was in great spirits and so too was the wolf, always a good thing. (Yep so i feel better health wise, but muse wise i stick suck Sorry for teh shortness. :/)

(Hey, as long as you're feeling better. Don't worry about shortness, makes my job easier lol.)
"Right. Just Kira, got it." Kevin replied chuckling rubbing the back of his head as Kira made her way to the door. She seemed real excited about the idea of a race, maybe it was the wolf in her that craved the rush of running. Or maybe she was just the competitive type. The reason didn't much matter to Kevin, if she ran as fast as she could eat steak, this would prove to be entertaining.
"So where did you want to go? I can kick your arse anywhere."
Kevin bursted out laughing at that one. "I'll forgive you since you don't know who I am, I'll let you in on a little secret though." He stared to say something else, but closed his mouth as he was now being dragged towards the door. He laughed again as they made their way out the door. "It doesn't matter, I guess we could race from the outskirts of the city.... To the other end? How's that sound?"
