Ya sure? Like positive? Never been more positive. Wow... Talk 'bout the cog in the machine. Ya didn't even talk this over with me. I did. You just choose not to listen. I was listenin'. I just didn't believe ya. It's only been like a month!
Fate Lingod stood there beside the lake, looking at the moon in the night sky. It was a little chill, but it was still a beautiful night. Perfect. He placed his hand in his jacket as he waited. What was he waiting for? It was more like a someone. Maybe he should have talked this over with Kevin before... Too late now. He picked up a rock and tossed it in the lake, causing the moon's reflection to riffle. |

Kasumi ran full speed through the dark night, in wolf form, towards somewhere she hadn't been before. She had never been this direction before, she was only going this way because she caught Fate's scent on the wind. Her tail was wagging, but it was hard to tell. She was super excited to go and see Fate. The scent was becoming stronger as another breeze passed by and she let out a happy howl as she continued running. Fate, I am coming for you!! Better be prepared! she had actually been having dreams about Fate lately, but hardly any were ones she wanted to see. Most of them results in him either dying, fighting, or killing. She hated it and would either cry when she woke up, or scream. So, now that she was actually going to see him perfectly fine, hopefully, she was quite happy and hoped that it would change her dreams.
Hearing a rock skid across some water, Kasumi stopped and crept forward a bit to see the person. It was Fate of course! Running back a bit, she jolted forward and jumped, turning back into human in the middle of it. "Fate!!" She yelled as she wrapped her arms around him when she was close enough, but had fallen to the ground. She then began laughing. "I found you!" She told him happily as she began to laugh harder. Thank goodness he's not covered in blood or anything..

Someone's growin' impatient. No, just anxious man. I guess that explain why we're shakin'. I thought it was 'cause we were cold.
Fate turned around quickly upon hearing Kasumi's voice. How much he missed his goddess. As she hugged him he reached his arms to return the embraced, but she fell. He helped her back to her feet, smiling. "Still falling for me, I see," Fate smiled, "Glad you found me. I was afraid I was gonna be lost forever." He tilted his head to the side. He was getting nervous just like the first day they met. He started to twiddle his thumbs together. Cold feet? Let's run!
"So how long have we've been together? Like a month?" Actually, Fate could tell you the excate numbers of days they've been together. Down to the minutes. He reached in his jacket pockets, still shaking a little nervously. |

Kasumi smiled and stood up as Fate helped her. "Well why wouldn't I fall for someone like you? Hell, I'd sky dive without a parachute for you if need be." She told him as she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. She had been wanting to do that for awhile now and now she had a chance, so why not take it? Free opportunity! "Be lost? Well, of course not, my dear. I'd search for you until the ends of the Earth. You just gotta sit still and wait. Oh! And remember I'm coming for you." She told him as she leaned a bit to the side. "That's not hard, right? I'll even let a few fan-girls bring you skittles." He then began to twiddle his fingers around and she looked at them, confused. Is he nervous? Why is he nervous?
"So how long have we've been together? Like a month?"[/u]
Kasumi blinked at the question, then began to think. "Good question.. I'd have to say about that time or so. Why do you ask?" She asked as she tilted her head, looked at his hands as he stuck them in his pockets. I wonder why he's asking such a thing..? Is there some important matter to how long we've been together..? Did mom and dad show any importance to how long they were together..? I don't remember it.. Then again, things are different here than from there, so maybe there is..

"Let's not do that. I'm not very good at catching people," He smiled, "Unless they're covered in skittles." As she wrapped her arms around him, he wrapped his arms around her waist. As she kissed him Fate smiled then kissed her back. It had been far too long since he had this. "Sit and wait. That shouldn't be so hard since i'll have you to look forward to," He said, "Oww. The fan-girls and skittles are a plus. I'll definitly be waiting."
C'mon... Let's run. Just move that one foot in front of the other than continue. We can do it. Yeah... Ya not gonna runaway, huh?
Fate knew she might have wondered what was going on. He sighed. Too late to turn back now. "I need to show you something." He took off his jacket and handed it to her and smiled. He stepped back and winked before jumping into the lake. The water was cold, but not enough to bother Fate. It was about a minute before Fate broke surface again. He got out of the lake and panted for air for a moment. "Ooow. That water is kinda cold." He walked all to her, soaked with water. "My shoe string is untied..." He kneeled down to tie his shoe. Well, it was now over never. "Since i'm down here..." He looked up to her and held his hand out, revealing a box, "Like, will you marry me?" He opened the box to reveal one of those huge candy ring pops. |

"Aw, but here I thought I was your guardian angel, so can't I fly?" Kasumi asked. "Covered in skittles? Well then, I better go buy a hell of a lot of skittles." She told him with a laugh. When he returned the kiss, she felt like prancing around in wolf form like a happy puppy. Of course she wouldn't, because then she couldn't talk to Fate, which she had been waiting for for awhile now. "Good. Don't think that when I find you I'll let you off easy. You might just be smothered with the overflowing love that I couldn't share with you." she laughed as she said it, but it was certainly true. Laughed even harder at Fate's next comment. "I'm not sure if you'll be waiting for me to actually come or wait because you'll be getting skittles."
Fate then sighed, and she gave him a confused look. Have I said something..? "Show me what..?" He then took off his jacket and she took it when he handed it to her. With that, he jumped in the lake. "Gah!!! What are you doing?!" She yelled this, even though he was in the water and probably couldn't hear her. she began to wait impatiently for him to resurface, and he soon did. He told her it was kinda cold. "I figured! Are you trying to get yourself sick?!" She asked as she placed the jacket back on his shoulders. He bent down to tie his shoe then. How can a shoe string become untied when he was swimming..? she just blinked at him when he spoke again. Her eyes certainly did widen though when he pulled a box out.

Kasumi began to blush like fire before the box was even open! And, like most females do when someone proposes, tears began to form in her eyes, until she saw it was a candy ring pop. She froze, wasn't even blinking. She then pointed at him. "Dammit!! You had me going there!! I thought you meant it!!" she yelled as she turned her back to him and crossed her arms. "You shouldn't ask that question if it's a joke.."

"You could fly, but that would make all the other angels who can't fly jealous," He nodded, "And we could just use the skittles I get everyday in my fan mail." When she said that she would buy them it brought Fate to the conclusion that she had found a job. That was great... Hopefully. He would have to ask her how that's going. "Smothered with overflowing love, oh no!" He said jokingly, "I can barely take all the love you're giving me now." He shrugged and laughed slightly. "I'd be waiting for you. Skittles are cool, but they aren't as sweet as you nor can they hold me tight."
"No ma'am. I can't get sick. I'm Fate Lingod," He smiled as if that was going to make it better. Well, soon he would make her forget about the stupid action he just done. Yes, marriage was a big step. A HUGE LEAP is more like it. Ya best be happy for the rest of your life or ima punch ya in the throat! When she turned around, Fate could see that he upset her a little. From what it seemed she was going to say yes. "It wasn't a joke..." He stood to his feet after reaching into his jacket pocket. He walked up to her, still behind her, he place his hand out revealing the true engagement ring. "Hopefully, you'll like this better than the other ring." He slowly walked in front of her and placed the ring on the proper finger. "Will you please be my wife?" (The ring. "Jealous you say? Well, I'd rather be attacked by hundreds of raged angels than to go splat on the ground." Kasumi told him with a laugh. She then arched an eyebrow, but was still smiling. "I see. So now you have the fan-girls sending you fan-mail so they can hide? Now that's not fair, I haven't had a chance to even find them before you moved them. This isn't a very good game of hide and seek." She told him playfully. She took both of his hands and curled her fingers with his. "Well, you better get ready. Besides, I'm sure the time I have away from you will give you enough time to use up all the love I'm giving you now." She played around with his fingers a bit. "Awesome, I'm glad you'll be waiting for me." She told him as she let go do his hand and wrapped them around him, holding him tight, but not too tight. "You mean likes this?" She asked.
No matter how angry she got at Fate, it never lasted long. Hardly lasted a minute. Besides, he always knew how to make it better. She couldn't help but smile at his comment. "Is that so? So, basically you're immune to getting sick, but yet you seem to suffer from love sickness? Or is that just me?" She asked with a slight chuckle, but still didn't turn around. Well, even if he wasn't serious about the marriage thing, at least we're together still. I don't need to be married to him to be happy with him. As long as he is here, that is all I need. She stood there silently, that was, until Fate spoke and told her it wasn't a joke. "You expect me to wear a candy ring? It'll get moldy! No way will I wear a moldy ring!" She told him as she made a disgusted face at the thought of mold. Ewww...! She listened as he stood up and could hear him walk over. A hand then caught her eye, and it was Fate's, of course, but now he was holding a real ring. She just looked at it in amazement, sh didn't even hear him speak. Looking up at him as he walked in front of her, she just stood there, still in awe as he placed it on her finger, then asked her to be his wife. At first, she said nothing. Tears were reappearing in her eyes, but she ignored them as she moved swiftly, wrapping her arms around his neck again and gave him a hard kiss. "Yes, yes yes! A million times yes!!" she told him, slightly blushing, but not really as she hugged him tighter.

"True. I believe we could easily take on a hundred raging angels," Fate nodded, "We're like the ultimate team... Except attractive." He shrugged a little. "If I let you find the fan-girls they're as good as dead," He said, "I should be spending my time looking for all the fan-boys who are after you." As she laced her fingers through his Fate smiled. This was turning out to be another best day in his life. Not to mention the hugs! Those were the best. Always made him feel accepted. "Oh, yes. I love it like this... I mean it's cool."
No turnin' back now. Is that marshmellow gonna throw the bachelor party? Kevin? Yes, Kevin. He's pretty much the only friend we have! I guess so... We'd have to ask him. Let's not. Let's just go to a strip club. I don't want to go to a strip club. Besides, we're sixteen. 'Kay! Chucky Cheese's it is!
"Yeah, you're the only person that can make me love sick," He smiled, "I say i'm made for you actually." So Fate had to make sure the ring didn't get moldy. He would hate for Kasumi to be upset in any way. But as he showed her the real ring she had this look upon her first. He stood there silently waiting for her answer. When she wrapped her arms around his neck and planted a kiss on him that was more than an answer. A huge smile came across Fate's face. She said yes! He was happy. That ring cost too much money. He had been saving for a very long time before he met Kasumi. It was actually suppose to be spent on finding his real parents, if they were still alive. But Kasumi was way more important than that. "Yes? SHE SAID YES!!!" He wrapped his arms around her, lifting her up and spinning around. It'd be awesome if somethin' came outta that water and ate us... But congrats. We should get some candy and stuff! |

"Damn straight we could!" Kasumi told him happily as she punched the air as she laughed. "But the angels are holy, I'm sure they're just as attractive. If not more, but the most attractive of them all is standing in front of me right now." It was true. Well, to her it was. She loved Fate's look, he seemed like someone that should be a model instead of an experiment. Hell, she thought he should be the best male supermodel ever! She liked him more for the personality though. She'd be really shallow if she didn't and plus, she really likes it. There's just something about it that really calls out to her. "That is very true.. Hey.. I might let a few live.. They'd just get lucky though." She told him. "My fan-boys? But my dear, I only have and need one." She told him as she returned the smile he gave her. "Hm. I liked it better when you said you loved it instead of saying it was cool." She told him as she put her head on his shoulder, still smiling.

"You don't know how honored and happy I am to hear that, then." Kasumi told him happily. Do most people on Earth get married so early and find the people they need in life so soon..? Or was it just for us..? I don't care either way, I'm just glad that Fate asked such a question, I never expected it.. I was sure he may have left me for someone else prettier and better or something.. I'm so happy I'm the one he chose.. Tears began to overflow from her eyes, from joy of course. She also couldn't help but laugh as he said she said yes, wrapped his arms around her and spun them together. "Well, why wouldn't of I? I love you, Fate. I want to be with you for as long as I live.."

"Nope. No angels could compare to my goddess," He said blushing slightly, "Hehehe. I'm the most attractive angel." Well, it was kinda ironic she said that. It was said that the devil, himself, was the most beautiful angel before he was banished to hell. Fate didn't consider himself a devil, far from it. But this other person he had in him he did. He needed to fix it soon. "Yeah, i'm your biggest fan. I have all your plushies at home and even your toys!" As she put her head on his shoulder Fate ran his hand through her hair. "Alright, I love it... You think I could get some hair as awesome as yours?"
I don't think it looked good on us... It looks great on her, but us... Nah. We're look really good with some candy... Ya know like eatin' some candy! Please! Okay! I'll get some candy. You're such a baby. Yup... Hey! Wait! Ya two can't be gettin' married! Ya don't even live 'gether! Shut up or no candy!
"Shall I continue to repeat that statement then?" He teased. Apart of him kinda knew she would say yes. Then there was a part that thought she would say know. She was awfully too hard on herself. But she was the one Fate wanted, what he needed. Hopefully, this ring would show her that. "I just thought you would say wait since we're kinda young, but you didn't," He smiled, "I love you more." |

"Oh? So a goddess fell in love with the best angel of all? Well, that's not how I pictured it. I I imagine it, it was more like a fairy tale where the rich, royal, sexy male fell in love with the poor peasant female in the village.." Kasumi said as she blushed a bit at the "sexy" part, but ignored it. "That you are. But hey, if you're an angel, you must have wings too, so why couldn't you catch you're "goddess" if she did happen to go skydiving without a parachute? Too busy fighting off those other enraged angels?" So, Fate and I are engaged now. That means I am also engaged to Hope, who I don't mind so much, but also to Glory.. I wonder what would happen if he ever did come out? what would Fate be like? Well, technically it wouldn't be Fate, it'd be Glory in his body, but would I be able to look at fate the same way? Could I treat him the same? Or would I be too scared to? Would the real Fate be able to come back out, or would he be stuck and caged up like Glory is now..? She came back to reality when he spoke again, making her giggle a bit. "Is that so now? Must've cost quite a bit, how long have you been saving?" She asked with a smile. When he ran his hand through her hair, she just closed her eyes. Now she definitely felt like a dog being pet by her owner. She enjoyed it though, she really did. "You're hair is awesome as it is." She told him as she placed her palm on his cheek.
"Mmm.. Nah, once is enough to satisfy me. For now, that is." I, can't imagine ever being afraid of Fate, it's just, he's just not someone that needs to be feared, he's so gentle and kind.. Such a horrible past, so little people there for him, more after him, and yet he helps people that'd probably turn him in anyway.. Two, against the whole government, and one of them the government knows him probably better than I do.. Could we stop them? Would I be of any assistance in helping Fate? It's worth a try.. I'd die the worst death possible a million times for him if I had to... Kasumi just looked at him with sympathy in her eyes. "Oh, so there is a matter of age here on Earth? well, I couldn't care less about it, I'd rather be with you now then at the age of fifty when I'm wrinkly.."She told him with a slight smile. "Oh you do, do you?" She asked with a laugh. "I wouldn't be so sure about that."

"Yeah, you could say something like that. I don't think I'd play the role of the female pleasant that well," He said jokingly, "I could fly, but my wings are way cooler than the other angels. So they'll get extra jealous." He could totally tell that she was thinking. Again, he wondered what it was she was thinking about. Maybe about marriage. It was a huge step. And Hope was right. They didn't even live together yet. So what! That stuff could come later. "They were actually priceless. I had to take them because the company wanted to keep it all to themselves. Selfish, right? But I could understand why they would want to keep you to themselves. You're beyond amazing." He nodded as she basically said he shook keep his hair the same as it was.
Fate nearly slapped himself across the forehead. How was he going to explain this to Kevin. He was sure Kevin wasn't going to be mad about the marriage. But he should have told him before hand. He looked at her wondering why she was giving him that look. It wasn't a look he was familiar with unlike the face she would make when she was upset with him or concerned. "Yeah. I say let's get married now. So, like, do I need to move into your cave?" He shrugged, "How's the job hunt going? Find anything?" He shook his head no and smiled. "I totally love you way more." |

Kevin had been wandering around, aimlessly, as usual. He was in his purple fighting gi, due to the fact he had been training moments before he started to wander. He was going to head on home, but he heard a familiar voice yell "YES! SHE SAID YES!" Kevin stopped in his tracks and turned his head. "Fate?" He questioned aloud.
His curiousity getting the better of him, he decided to check it out. He dashed to the lake, just in time to see the private shows of affecion between the couple. He hid in the bushes, so that they didn't stop showing the love out of fear of being seen. A bug flew directly past his nose however, and he tried to his best to snifle a sneeze, but despite his best efforts, he let out a powerful, and very loud sneeze. "Crap........" He mumbled, facepalming.

Kasumi just laughed at Fate's comment. "Well, considering you're not poor, or a female..." She told him with a smile. "Besides, I like you better as the male, you fit his character much better." She placed her forehead on his. "Are they now? So, are they just different form or color? Like, made out of electricity?" She asked with a smile. She looked to the side though when she though she heard someone in the distance say Fate's name. It was faint, so figured Fate couldn't hear it, but wasn't sure if he could or not, since she did have higher hearing than normal. "Fate.. Was it just me, or did you hear something..?" She asked as she looked at him with a questioning look. Looking back to the side, she blinked, but shrugged it off and went back to paying attention to Fate. "Oh did they now?" She asked with a laugh. "Looks like i may have more fans than I thought. Too bad for them my heart already belongs to someone."
Now she heard movements throughout the forest, as if someone was walking. well, duh, of course they're walking since the sound was getting closer, but still. Kasumi just glanced to the side and wished a breeze would pass so she could catch the scent of who or what it was out there. She wasn't very talented in sniffing without the wind, but still had a strong sense of smell. Sniffing the air a bit, she grunted slightly, since all she smelled was Fate, which his scent was even stronger since he just jumped in the lake, the water of the actual lake, and the forest itself. Her eyes flew back to Fate as he said let's get married now. She just gave him a bit of a surprised look. "Don't we need to consult a church father with this? Or, whatever people usually do on Earth when they get married? I may have read about earth, but how they marry never crossed my mind.." she told him as she rubbed the back of her head. "My cave..? We could, plenty room for one more. I'd rather not have you sleep on the ground. Angels like yourself should have better. As for the job, it went okay, and yes, I do have a job now. Wait, does working in hell count..?" She asked, then smiled. "I don't thi-" Kasumi was cut off when a sneeze rang in her ears. A smirk grew on her face. she knew that whoever it was was near and hiding behind the bush, but now that he just sneezed, she knew exactly who it was. "Not exactly the entrance I was expecting you to make, Kevin, but it's better than being a sneaky mouse. You know, it isn't very polite to sneak up on people.. You could've at least said hello." She told him as she walked over and moved the bush to the side, revealing Kevin.
