Stumbling(DarkFlame)

[Moriko]

A silver creature ran through the night, leaving a blood trail behind it. The creature also had another accompanying, and of course, it was Moriko in her wolf form with Hiunmei beside her. Hey, you know, i think we lost him! We need to make sure! If we're not far enough he could easily just go and turn back for Kanna! He could just as easily do that right now! We're the one he's after, so if we're far enough away I'm sure he won't! But.. You're torn up! Aww, you care! Well of course I do! I've known you since I was a pup! You took care of me and raised me dammit! Indeed I did. Anyway, relax, it's just a few scratches, I promise. They're hardly even bleeding now. Few scratches my ass! Those are gashes! If they stopped bleeding, then explain why there is still a huge blood trail!...Shut up and just keep running!

Moriko slowed down to a walk as she reached an abandoned amusement park. She panted a little as she transformed into a human. Well this place makes my fur stand on end.. Yeah, mine too.. Well, my skin crawl now.. She stopped and listened, quickly turning and drawing her sword to meet another. "You're senses are sharp!" Said the man that they were talking about earlier. She smirked. "Well of course! I am the ruler!" she said as a battle broke out. The man was someone from the Heiwa plant, where she originally came from, a place that she was supposed to be ruling. Hiunmei wanted to be apart, so he ran, jumped and clamped down on the man's arm, only to get slashed. "Hiunmei!' With that, she, in a swift movement, almost cut him in half.

"Gahh!" the man cried out as he fell to the ground, but yet still managed to hold off her sword. "You were always like that, always getting angry when someone hurt who you car for!" He said as he knocked her sword away. "How would you know, I don't remember you!" She said as she slashed him with water. "It's me! You don't remember me?! I was one of the few, maybe the only, friend you had! That had skin!" Moriko stopped in her tracks. "T..Torao..?" The man nodded. "All I wanted, see ya'! Don't think I'm gonna go dying though! By the way, t return the favor for this wound.." He said as he, now in a swift movement, threw the sword. She was too lost in thought, so Hiunmei had took the blow for her. "Damn! Well, oh well.. See ya'!" Torao disappeared and Hiunmei laid on the ground as tears started to fill Moriko's eyes. H, hey now.. No crying.. I'm not gonna die.. You idiot!!! You should've let me take that blow!!! And face the wrath of Kanna? Hell no.. Tears finally found their way out as she transformed back into a wolf and began to howl.

Darkflame waled through the dark and creepy Amusment park. Well actualy it as ust a juck yard now mut it had once been a place where human's gathered to enjoy fun and eat strange foods. "Do all the Park of Amusment become this sad and menecing if left alone?" Darkflame asked himself as he looked around. He was getting a feeling of dread, like some one or somthing was out there watching him. He had not felt tis way sens he had hunted down the Klazanora Beast a few years ago.

He suddenly heard a howel that sent chiils down his spine. He had thought it was best he turn and leave but there was a ring of pure saddness to the howl and Darkflame could never turn his back on someone that was suffering. He desided to check it out and saw a man walking away from two injured wolves with a bloody sword. Darkflames first thought was to go after the man but he could see both wolves were hurt and needed help. He flew over to them landing about ten feet away. "Hey are you okay?" He asked slowly approching the wolves.

He had no idea of the nature of wolves but he did have lots of interations with the creatures known as dogs that humans kept as pets. Cyborg had once called him "Dog friendly" or that dogs seemed to like him. The wolves looked alot like dogs so he figured they were the same. He slowly approced them pulling out some guaze and bandages he kept on him incase he was ever forsed to over use his Energy Punch, or worse be forced to use the Mega Punch. "I'm not going to hurt you just let me patch you up." he said softly waiting to see if they were going to trust him or not.

Moriko's howls continued on for a bit longer until she finally was too upset to howl anymore. She went on all four's and bit the hilt of the sword. This is gonna hurt, okay...? I'm sorry. It's fine, just take it out... She whimpered a bit, but began to pull it out, making him whine himself. She closed her eyes, then finally pulled it out completely. She flattened her ears and whimpered. Hey...Stop that.. No! Shut up and sleep! NOW!! Someone's bossy... I'm worried about you dammit! Now sleep or I'll make you sleep! Sounds like you're gonna kill me.. Never!! Hiunmei huffed a bit, trying to laugh, only to fail and hurt himself. She growled at him.

"Hey are you okay?"[/u]

Moriko turned around, seeing a boy approaching ten feet away. she stood up and snarled at the boy. He may have asked if they were alright, but wasn't certain if it was a trick or not and plus, Hiunmei was pretty much dying. The closer the boy got the louder she growled at him. Hiunmei just looked at her. Stop that.. He, just asked a question.. He seems alright.. He SEEMS alright, doesn't mean he is.. You really.. Are over-protective... Be quiet! It's you I'm protecting! So be quiet and just watch! Fine.. She watched as the boy pulled out some medical equipment and told them he wasn't going to injure them, just patch them up. Told you he was..A good guy.. Shut up or I'm placing a paw on your wound. Gack!! I'll be good, I promise!! Moriko sat back down and transformed back into a human, just lookg at the boy.

Darkflame had taken the bandages and lightly plased a few small pads on the more injured wolf's wound. He was some what glad for the current moment he had an attack that forced him to carry these supplies around with him. He tried not to move Hiunmei too much but had to lift him up a bit to get the bandages to go around the wolf. "There we are He should be fine now as long as he does... not ...." He had turned to talk to the other wolf but froze when instead he saw a very beautiful girl standing there instead.

He was bad at talking to firls from the start always getting nervious around them, though he seemed fine around Starfire and any girl he's managed to know for a while, and the fact that this one just appered out of know where made him give a small startled yell. "Who are you... no wait I mean hi... no that's not really the time sence I'm trying to treat an injured animal right now." He could feel that he was about to start rambling and it was obvious he was nervious around her. He suddenly snapped out of it whe he saw she was hurt as well.

"Hey are you okay?" he asked her getting out a few mor supplies for her as well. "Do you want me to take a look at those?" he asked her showing consern. "By the way there was another wolf with this one do you know where it went I was going to try and heal it as well but I'm not sure I have enough badages for everyone." he said. He mostly carried these supplies with him in the case he broke his arm. "Can you walk? We should get you to the tower my friends will be able to help you." he said with consern in his voice still looking around for the other wolf.

Moriko watched silently as he began to pull out the medical equipment. I wonder if he just carries that around randomly? I think so.. Or he has an ability to pull out medical equipment as will. Hmm.. I gotta admit it'd be cool if he could, but I doubt it, he doesn't seem like someone that would have that kind of ability... Agreed. I wonder why he is bothering to help though..? Maybe he's, ya' know, being NICE? You trying to imply something? 'Course not, don't be ridiculous. I"m seriously gonna hurt you. Point proven. "Why you little!!" She yelled as she stood up and yelled at Hiunmei, but paused when she remembered the boy sitting there. He told her Hiunmei should be fine, but not what he has to do to stay that way. "Doesn't..what?"

"Who are you... no wait I mean hi... no that's not really the time sence I'm trying to treat an injured animal right now.[/u]

Moriko stood there and just blinked at him, sitting back down. Um, so, do I answer or not? You could try.. Okay then.. "Um, hello?" That's not answering anything. Shut up! He may not want to know for all we know! So ask. Stop telling me what to do, you're horrible with advice.. Gee, thanks. No problem. "Well, um, thank you for helping him out... He can be very stupid sometimes." Say what?! I saved your ass! Then went and almost got yourself killed! I would've been fine! I will be too! Thanks to this boy! Otherwise, uh, YOU WOULDN'T BE FINE! Hiunmei growled and glared, and she did the same. Well, just not growling.

Moriko looked back at the boy as he began to speak again. "Um, no, it's alright, I'm fine, thank you though." Hiunmei leaned over and chomped down on her hand. She glared down at him as basically something like a black aura appeared around her. "That..hurts..Stupid bastard.." She mumbled the last part, but knew Hiunmei would hear it. Then tell him that you do need to be bandaged! No, there's no point in it, I don't need human medical equipment to get healed. You're so stubborn! And you're not? The both looked back at him as he asked where the other wolf went. "Don't worry about it, the other wolf you saw, is kinda, sitting in front of you.." Se told him as he began to speak again. She stood up and dusted herself. off. "I can walk just fine! Thanks. Going to your tower would be unnecessary though, it's highly appreciat- ow!" She said as this time Hiunmei bit her ankle. "What the hell is wrong with you?! You're injured, now act like it!" She yelled as she bent down and pried his jaw open. She looked back at the guy and rubbed the back of her head. "Heheheh.. Sorry, he isn't usually like this.."

Darkflame looked at her for a second when she told him that she wass the wolf he had seen before hand. "Oh dose that make you a shapeshifter like Beast Boy?" He asked as his friend came to mind. He suddenly got back into focus of the main topic which was her wounds. "But you are bleeding your wounds could become much more sever if they are not treated." he said and then watched as Hiunmei began to bite her although it didn't look like he was doing it maliciously.

"Your friend looks to be consered about your wounds. Are you sure you do not wish to come to the Titan tower with me to be healed?" Darkfalme asked her. He was not going to drag her there against her will but it was better thanjust leaving her there. Then he remebered the man he had seen walking from them, the one he had chosen to let get away so he could tend to the wounded wolf and shapeshifter. "I only wish to help you. My friends are strong you will be safe at the tower I promise." he said

Moriko glanced at the boy, who was looking at her, then down to Hiunmei. When he asked if that made her a shape-shifter, she rubbed the back of her head. "Sorta, you could kinda say that.. Only I can't transform into every animal like he can, I can only turn into a wolf.." She explained. She wasn't familiar with the Titans, but know them well enough to know each name to each power. Good, you remembered who the guy was.. Of course! I'm not that stupid! NO COMMENT! Hiunmei's jaw corners went up, as if he was smiling. She just grunted a little. He's gotta think we're weird, especially you for yelling at an injured animal that supposedly can't speak. I know.. Ugh! It's all your fault!! How is it mine?! I'm not the one making you speak!! You make me angry, which causes me to do stupid things. All of hell would've froze over by now if you were mad. Heheheh...

"Your friend looks to be consered about your wounds. Are you sure you do not wish to come to the Titan tower with me to be healed?"[/u]

Moriko looked at him, then once again, back down to Hiunmei, sighing. "If it'll make him let go of my ankle, then fine. I'll go.." With that, Hiunmei did what she said and let go of her ankle. She rolled her eyes and bent down, picking Hiunmei up. I can walk!! Put me down!! Hell no, you need to rest. So, the best way to do that is to carry you. I'm going to tear your throat out. I'd like to see you try. Hiunmei opened his jaws and went for her throat, but stopped a few centimeters away. He backed away and closed his jaws, making her smirk. Told ya'. He didn't say anything, but glared to the side and listened as the boy began to speak again. "I know, the titans are very kind people, or so I have heard from inside the forest. By the way, I'm Moriko Aki and this is Hiunmei, it's a pleasure to meet you." she said as she gave he boy a smile.

Thankfully the girl, whome he now knew was named Moriko, had aggred to come back to the tower with him. He watched as She picked Hiunmei up and they seemed to argue a bit. "My name is Darkflame" The Tamaranian said as he introduced himself to Moriko and Hiunmei. "It should not take us long to reach the tower." He said and then walked over to Moriko and picked her up as she held the wolf. "Don't worry I won't drop you" he said and then began to fly them back to the tower. This was much quicker than walking so it would only take them about five minutes to get to the tower now.

He touched back down on the roof to the tower and put Moriko down on her feet. "Okay then all we need to do is go to the Infermary and we can heal you both right up." he said with a smile on his face. "So what was that guy chasing you for?" he asked as they walked into the elevator and he hit the botton to take them to sickbay. The strange thing was that the more he looked at her the more he thought he had seen her before.

Darkflame? That's an awesome name! I love it! You only like it because it has flame in it. Nuh-uh! It's a very cool and unique name! It suits him well!You say that to every guy's name that you think is cute.. So, you like this guy? DO NOT!! You're so bad at lying. You may fool Kanna or something, but I've known you all my life, you won't fool me. Just keep quiet! Yeah, like I'll so be able to tell him... Moriko glared down at him and stuck her tongue out at him. You look like a fool. Because of you! Shut up and don't screw this up. The next thing they both knew, was that Darkflame had picked Moriko and Hiunmei up. Well, technically Hiunmei since she was already holding him. He assured her he wouldn't drop them and began to fly. At least we're positive now that he's not human...

A little while later they landed on a roof to a tower shaped as a T. So this is where they live.. Should've known, kinda obvious.. She waited for a witty remark from Hiunmei, but wasn't receiving one. "Hiunmei..?" She shook him a little and he growled. Moriko was relieved that he was just sleeping. Darkflame told them he'd heal them right up, went in an elevator and then asked who the guy was and why he was chasing them. "You saw him!? Which way was he going?!" She asked frantically. Don't..Answer his question..with another. one..Answer..his first.. She looked down at Hiunmei, who was still sleeping and back up to Darkflame. "Sorry.. Anyway. The guy was Torao, he used to be a good friend of mine, the only friend, on the Heiwa planet, the planet of peace.. You see, I was born into the royal family, I was the next to inherit the throne. Never wanted it though, but at the age of eight, some recruits from another planet attacked my planet, killing many of the people including my father. I used my wind and fire powers and killed the recruits, saving my people, but I passed out for a few days and when I came too, my mother had thought I was dead and died of heartbreak, leaving me to the throne so I left the planet and came here. He was trying to get me to return and take of Heiwa."

Darkflame listened as she explained who she was and then hit his fist into his palm as it came back to him. "Oh yeah that's who you are!" He said glad that it wasn't going to et at him. He then chuckled as the elevator stopped and he lead them to a one of the small operating rooms. "You know your the second prienssess I know. See my friend Starfire came to this planet a few years back and I just recently got permission to leave Tamaran. When I found her she was so happy here that I decided I'd stay as well." he said and placed Hiunmei on the operating table first because he had the worst wound.

"Why would he attack you though? I never once engaged Starfire in such Barbaric greetings." Blackfire on the other had he has had to greet like that before. "He should be more consered about you happieness than his own." Darkflame said and then got to work. He was once a high ranking officer in the Tamaran army so he knew how to treat wounds and had spent time in the Sickbay learning how earth medicine worked. He then gave Hiunmei A shot to make him sleep so Darkflame could get to work. He simply cleaned the wound of any infection and then carfuly stitched the wolf up. "There he should wake in an hour or two and be competly fine but he whould remian from stressful activiy and also running for at least one week and then he can have the stitches out." He then turned to her and looked at her wounds. The scratches were nothing to worry about and he could easily bandage up. "There you go Moriko your all set. You can rest here for as long as you need I'll conntact the Titans and let them know your here so there's no confusion.

"Oh yeah that's who you are!"[/u]

Moriko just looked at him, stunned for a bit as he slammed a fist in his other hand. "You, have heard of my people and me?" She asked as she blinked at him. "Ah, so you are from Tamaran? You're friend is also of royalty? Her name was Starfire, right?" She went off into thought, trying to see if she could remember anyone named Starfire when she learned of the royal people from other planets. "I'm sorry, I don't really remember anyone named Starfire.. I remember learning about Tamaran, but I never liked being royalty, so shoved everything or ignored everything I learned.. Her name must've been one of them.. Technically I'm a queen though, my mother died a long time ago with my father, leaving me to be ruler at eight." She told him as she watched him place Hiunmei on the table.

Why he attacked? Moriko thought that it would've been a bit more clear, but maybe not. She now found it a but unclear herself. "Well, he probably is pissed along with the rest of my planet that I just left. So, they will probably try to recruit me back and since they know I won't go willingly, they'll try by force. Torao may have gotten me this time, but they now they won't be able to defeat me easily, I am[/i[ royalty, after all.. So they know how powerful I am, so won't attack without a plan. Torao had one, and that was to take Hiunmei out.." She said as she looked at Hiunmei, who was being fixed up by Darkflame. I never met another alien before.. Didn't think I'd get along with one so well... Hm.. She blinked at him as he said Hiunmei should be okay and remain from stressful activity. Looks like I'm alone on hunting now.. "Alright, thank you. I appreciate it." She just watched as he bandaged her, then looked up at him when he said he'll call the others and that she could rest here as long as she wanted. "Do.. You have to go and do it now? I'd rather you stay here and keep me company.. Hiunmei isn't any fun when he's knocked out.." She told him with a slight smile.

"That's horrible! He is not a very nice friend!" Darkflame said his eyes gloeing dark blue for a second before he calmed down and his eyes returned to niormal. "Perhaps you should crown a new leader on your planet. Then they will have some one to look up to and not have to come after you. That's what Star did when she was queen and to tell the turth we've been dong great ever sence." Darkflame said. "Still as long as you are around us you don't have to worry about him for the night me and my firends will make sure he stays away from you both." Darkflame said.

When Moriko said she wanted him to stay with her he blushed a bit. "Well actually I was just going to call them on my communicator. Darkflame said pulling out the round communicatior that every Titan had. He pened it up and texted and message for the other's to read when they had the time. Taking care of an injured party back at the base I'll watch over them for the night He the flipped his Communicator closed and smiled. "Well that's all Mind if I show you around the tower?" He asked with a small bow still blushing a bit.

Moriko looked at Darkflame as he said Torao wasn't a very nice friend, but that's not what shocked her, it was the fact that his eyes were now a dark blue. "He.. May not be now, but he was much nicer when we were little.. He was my only friend that had skin.." She told him as she pinched her arm a bit, feeling relieved when his eyes went back to normal. "Crown a new leader?" He explained that that's what Starfire did instead of becoming royalty. "I would like to, but things don't work like that on my planet.. We can't crown a random person, they absolutely have to be royalty.. The only way to be released is if I reproduced and sent them to Heiwa.. I won't do that." She told him as she stretched. "Worry about him? I'm not worried at all and it's not my safety I'm concerned for.." She told him as she looked at him, then Hiunmei and thought of Kanna. I need to go back soon to make sure she's alright, I can't leave her, I have no doubt he'll go after her.. "Thanks though."

Moriko tilted her head as Darkflame blushed slightly. "Yeah, but I don't know how long that'll take! I have no clue about technology.." She said as she stood up and walked over to a computer. "See, I have no idea what this is or what it does.." She looked down and pressed a button. The computer then turned on and said in a loud computer voice to enter a password, startling her. She yelped a bit and in a flash was hiding behind Darkflame. When he pulled out what he called a communicator, she just looked at it, half sorta in fear, since she didn't know what it could do, and then half in awe. She looked over his shoulder as he did stuff, then closed it. "That;'s it? That fast?" she asked as she took the communicator and began to examine it. "How does it work? What can it do?" She said as she flipped it open. Reverting her attention back to Darkflame, who was bowing and asking if he could show her the tower. She smiled. "Sure!" She told him happily.

Darkflame listened as Moriko told him that her planet woul only allow some one from the royal family to rule over the planet. When she mentioned the possable fact that she could mate and send the child back to Heiwa he blushed again. "Yeah your right that wouldn't be fair at all to th child d I'm sure you wouldn't want to just send your own child away like that." Moriko then took an intrest in the technology around her. "Well there are many things here in the tower that would facinate you," he said as he began to show her around. "I'll just show you the basic rooms of the tower." He said he wasn't going to show her some of the more dagerious rooms though so he figured that she would be okay.

Moriko seemed a little anxious to get bak to the woods which left him to wonder if there was someone waiting for her. If it was another animal he was sure that they would be fine but what if it wasn't? "Is there someone out waiting for you?" Darkflame asked her. He didn't want t go back and bring a bunch of animals to the house sence the other Titans might not like it. But if there was actualy some one out there thy could be in dager as well and Darkflame could not ignore that. "If there is some one I coud bring them back here to the tower."

Moriko looked at Darkflame confused as he blushed. Have I said something embarrassing? I didn't think I did.. Then again, I kind of do just say things without thinking.. She nodded. "I would never send my child back to Heiwa, if I had to, I'd sure as hell go with. My child, my blood, you better bet I'm staying and raising it." She told him, a bit agitated, but not really. She was just getting angry with Torao, since she looked in Hiunmei's direction. Hiunmei, you better make it through this or I'm going to kick your ass in the after life, got it?! I do swear though, if you don't make it through, I swear I'll avenge you. She looked back at Darkflame as he told her there are many things that would fascinate her. She followed after him and looked around, listening as he told her he's show her the basic rooms. "Alright then.. Although, in a place like this, I'm not sure what kind of basic we're talking about.."

"Is there someone out waiting for you?"[/u]

This statement took her by surprise for a minute, since Moriko wasn't expecting it. Is it that obvious? Damn. "Uh, well, yeah.. Basically, my little sister, yet we're not blood... I'm just worried about her, since Torao is out there.. I'm afraid he'll go after her.. I mean, she may be strong, but she's still so small.." She told him. He then told her he could bring her here, and her eyes brightened. "Really?! Oooohhh!!! I guarantee you'll like her, she's just the most adorable little girl ever! she's just soo cute!!" she told him happily, but then she went serious. "Are you sure it's okay with your friends, though?"
